Closest thing she had as a friend

Looking at herself in the mirror. Winter smiled. The dress was beautiful. It was red. Short bodycon off-shoulder dress with V neckline and matching choker. Her makeup wasn't thick. Black eyeliner to make her eyes stand out and a preppy red lipstick. Looking good was the only thing she was still good at. At least until now. Thanks to the used clothes shop.

Picking up her apartment key and coat. She left the apartment. Rony was downstairs waiting for her.

"You took too long." Rony said as he started the car.

"Well. I'm your plus one. I need to look good." Winter replied looking outside the window.

"Always full of yourself." Rony muttered under his breath.

Looking at the building. Winter wondered what kind of club this is." What is this place exactly?" She asked, turning her head to look at Rony.

"It's a private club where rich people meet and close their deals. We're here to deliver some goods and get paid." Rony replied, looking at the building. "It's easy money. Better than selling on the street." He added.

Nodding her head. Winter opened the car door stepping out of it. Walking towards the club. She thought about what Rony said. "Do you always do this? Selling at places like this I mean." She asked.

"Yes. What? Are you thinking about working with me finally?" He replied asking as he walked inside the building.

Winter didn't reply. She pretended to not hear him.

"Try to smile. If anyone tries to flirt with you, roll with it just until we leave." Rony said, looking around him."I will make sure to reward you." He added

"Hmm." Winter hummed her answer as she took a glass of champagne from the passing waiter.

The entire night. Winter stood there watching Rony speaking to some of the businessmen. Handing them the goods in the process and taking the money from them. She regretted coming here. She was bored. She was here only for her fix.

At least Rony wasn't like Fifi. He is always honest and straight. You want something you have to give him something in return. They weren't a real friend. But he's the closest thing she had as a friend. They met when she first started to do cocaine. He's the best seller she met. Always has the best kind.

An hour later. Rony finishes his work in the club.

"Here. Be careful. This one is mixed with strong drugs. You should take it when you go back to the apartment." Rony said handing her the small bag of cocaine.

Hiding the bag inside her small handbag. She nodded her head."You can go back. I will spend some time here before I go back." Winter said to Rony.

"Winter. Be careful." Rony said. Warning her.

Nodding her head. Winter walked towards the stairs. She needed something strong to drink. Reaching the first floor. She walked towards the bar to order something to drink.
