24 A flip of mood

Winter's eyes fluttered open. Her eyes fall on the empty side of the bed. Leaving the bed. She walked out of the room searching for Aiden only to find him standing in front of the small shelf on the wall. Her white towel warped his narrow waist.

"Don't laugh at me." Winter said as she walked towards him.

Aiden turned to look at her and then back at the picture. It was a picture of the five years old Winter with her parents in the zoo. She was a chubby child. Smiling freely to the camera without a care in the world.

"Why would I laugh? You look adorable." He said, turning to look at her.

Winter smiled. Her father used to call her that."I'm going to take a bath." She said, already walking towards the bathroom. Feeling the need for another fix.

Aiden stared at her as she walked towards the bathroom, nothing that was something off about her. She seemed different for some reason. Like she had a flip of mood. Did he do something wrong? He wondered.

______

Inside the bath tube. Winter sat relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of the after the fix. Smiling to herself. She closed her eyes. To her. Right now there's nothing better in the world than the feeling she was feeling right now. Like she was floating on the clouds. Her body was shivering from the high ecstasy.

Holding her breath. She Immersed herself in the tub water letting her body sink further before she lifted herself. She let out the breath she was holding. Standing up. She got out of the tub. Picking the towel. She started to dry her body.

After getting dressed into A long sleeping shirt and getting out of the bathroom. She suddenly remembered that Aiden has nothing to wear. She turned around and walked towards her parent's room looking for something in her father's clothes to give to him.

Entering the room. She was about to give him the clothes when she found him already sleeping. Sitting slowly on the bed. She led on her side watching him as he slept. He seemed to be in a deep sleep. He must be tired. She thought to herself. She reached to touch his face but stopped midway, Not wanting to wake him up. Getting under the blanket. She kept on watching him. She hardly sleeps at this time of the night. Usually, she feels lonely. But tonight she felt happy to have someone with her.

Winter loved the fact that he made himself comfortable. Sleeping on the bed like they were a couple. He even used her phone charger to recharge his phone. Giggling quietly. She covered her mouth to not make any noise. Turning the bedside lamp off. She closed her eyes trying to get some sleep.
