Chapter Seven: Vs. Enya Azureflame

After another individual's test, my name was called,

"Next Adventurer Arturo Kei come forward."

Finally, it was my turn. My opponent was already there on the ground, and also, I had seen him fight. He is an earth element user.

I arrived on the ground.

"Are you ready?" he asked me, and I nodded.

I released my mana-will, and she smiled and said, "finally, you are ready."

I dashed towards her, so did he. But I used "Zephyr's Step" in-between and increased my speed, closing the distance a bit early and taking her by surprise. I attacked her using my dagger, enhanced by my mana.

She quickly regained her calmness and struck me with her sword.

It's still heavy. I used "Wind Storm" using my left hand and tried disturbing her form.

If I want to defeat her, then I have to be faster. Using "Zephyr's Step," I sped to her right and dashed into her. She had already regained her form and swung the sword.

"Clank," using my dagger, I deflected myself downwards, slid on the ground, and passed her. I stood and turned around immediately.

I started increasing my mana in my body, and I had to do it.

I stepped on the ground and moved backward, making the distance between us.

Are you freaking kidding me? I instantly used "Lightweight" and "Wind Step" to close my distance and attack, but she blocked me. I used "Fire blast" without wasting any time, but she also cut that, and above that, a fierce slash comes on.

I deflected the azure flame wave and landed, but I lost my balance because of taking that punch. I lost my form and moved away from her, and made a distance between us.

She looked confused.

My body won't handle it anymore going.

Two minutes remained.

"Ms. Enya, let us end it here in one go?"

She took her stance and said, "Fine by me."

I held onto my dagger tightly and started manipulating my mana into the dagger. Set's it on fire with the help of a fire element. Meanwhile, she does the same.

We both dashed towards each other at the same speed and struck. Both our weapons clashed.

It was a sight where bright orange clashed against azure flame. I need to finish it ASAP.

"Electric Dash," I got away from there, and I was already ready with my next attack from the moment we clashed. Instantly got behind her and, with my left hand, used, "Firestorm."

"sigh" I lost, but this sight of bright and beautiful azure flame surrounding Ms. Enya, who is in front of me, is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen.

I lost my balance and fell to the ground. Finally…

She then points her sword at me while I am on the ground.

I put both my hands in the air and said, "I surrender." And thus, our fight ended on I losing it. Well, not that I was ever going to win one.

"Okay, I shall go now. Meet you day after tomorrow." Saying that, she left.

I then went inside the Guildhall minutes later and saw Ms. Olivia waving at me and saying, "Your result is here."

I walked towards her, and she handed over my result.

"Congratulation. You are now A3 in the Guild ranking. And I also heard that you fought Enya Azureflame." She congratulated me and spoke.

"Hehe, though I couldn't even land a hit once on her."

"But still, you fought against S-Class."

As I thought so. I thanked her for the result and headed back to my room. After reaching, I lied down on my bed.

I am tired, and also my body is hurting. It won't move anymore. So, this is what happens if I fight an S-Class now. That one punch which I didn't even take directly, was more than enough for my body. "Sigh"

So, she is a warrior-type, eh? To be honest, I was at a disadvantage in terms of weapons, but again that would just be an excuse, right?
