15 Until We Meet Again

Chapter 15: Until We Meet Again

~ Three Days Later ~

We continued the mana transferring for three days, and even now, we are doing the same. But today will be the last day to do so. The mark on my right side is also now kinda visible to me. Side by side, I have also been trying to use Dragon's Aura and my Aura, which I can use for one hour straight.

Still, eight days passed inside here, eh? I cannot still believe that.

"It's finally done," Lucia said. I got up and wore my shirt.

"Art listen, now you have the power of a Dragon, and it's not a normal one, remember. So, use it in a way that won't cost your life. Promise me!"

"I promise," I said, making a pinky swear.

"Train your Dragon's Aura daily as it's…." she kept on telling me what all to do and what not to. It was quite a lesson though I don't mind it, "Chuckle."

"Are you even listening?" she sighed. I nodded with a huge grin on my face.

"Whatever… By the way, the portal is ready." She spoke.

"Is it compulsory to leave today?" I groaned, making a childish face, not wanting to go back today.

"I never said to go today," she laughed, "it's your call, Art."

She already knows that I live far from my family and I am an Adventurer. Even after eight days of being here, she knew things that I didn't. I never told her about who I am and my past life. But I do want to tell her.

We talked about some random things, and I finally decided to tell her about my past.

"Umm Luc--" Before I got even call out her name, suddenly I – we felt a strong ominous presence entering the cave.

"Wha – what is this fee – feeling," I said. I barely could even speak out of fear, and I was trembling. I remember this feeling very well.

"Art, you need to leave now through the portal. We don't have much time." Lucia anxiously said.

Lucia was also sacred. No, not scared but worried. She suddenly told me to leave this place even though she is a chaos dragon.

"No, I won't leave you alone, Lucia. It's dangerous." I spoke. But deep inside, I knew that she won't come with me, but I also knew that I won't meet her again after this day.

"No, Art, don't behave like a kid now. You have to go." She spoke.

"I don't care If I am childish now, but-but if I leave today, I won't ever be able to see you again. And I know that." I replied. Tears started falling from my eyes, slowly blurring my vision.

Lucia put her hand on my hand, patting gently. She replied, "Art, it's fine. We will meet again."

"No, we will fight him together, then we might win." I had become stubborn at this point, and even when I was this stubborn, Lucia didn't rage even a bit.

"Art, we won't win against him, and I know that very well. But if you leave me here today. You might be able to win against him in the future, and you might meet me again."

I couldn't say a single word, and that ominous presence was closing the distance, and as it became closer, the presence grew stronger.

"Now Art, go."

I couldn't leave her here. I was already grabbing her hand, but now I tightened my grip. I looked up towards her.

"Art, can you promise me one thing. And that is in future when you become stronger will you save us?"

Us? I wanted to ask her the meaning of us. But I didn't have time.

"I promise I will save you, Lucia. I will save each and everyone." I shouted with my tears falling out of my eyes. And that's when I heard this familiar voice.

"Lucia, you cannot hide anymore." This ominous and heavy voice, I remember it.

"Art, sorry but--" she pushed me into the portal, "but you have to go." I tried to grab anything I could, but I failed. That's when I saw a scene that flashed into my eyes. A scene where I was in a palace sort of place and in front of me was a gorgeous woman with a veil on her face. She was kneeling down on her one foot, bowing down her head. As if she was bowing down to a king.

I was falling down, and I said this one line in a loud voice. "Lucy, I will save you no matter what," I shouted as loud as I could. She heard that and looked at me. She bowed down just like that woman I saw and said, "Yes, my King."

I don't remember anything after that. It was pitch black. I closed my eyes, and soon I hit something hard. *Thud*

What theee—

I opened my eyes and looked around and realized that I was back in the dungeon from where I got teleported.

So, I am back, huh? But I don't really feel happy about being back. I am still weak, right? I wanted to cry, but I held back my emotions and promised myself that I would meet her again no matter what.

I walked out of the dungeon. It is night here, and wait. why are there tents over here? I mean, did something happen that they had to set up camping tents? And that's when I realized. It's because of me, isn't it?

< Explanation >

[ The appearance of Dimensional Dungeon is considered a national threat to the kingdom. Camping tents and guards are assigned near the appeared portal (the dimensional dungeon). They do this to take extra precautions. Guards assigned here are of Royal Palace, and If possible, Guildhall also sends S or A-Class adventurers.]

"Sigh," This is going to be a total pain in the a**

{Since Arturo was the one who was teleported to the other side, he will be asked a lot of questions to confirm his identity and the thing that happened there.}

First of all, I need to think of some excuse for what happened there. Since I cannot reveal what actually happened. And the second thing to do after sorting this out Guildhall is that I need to learn the Dragon's magic whereabouts and even think a bit deep into what actually happened.

As I was walking towards the camp, I heard someone shouting,

"Who is that? Don't you know that one is allowed here? Put your hand up in the air."

I turned around and saw two guards running towards me. I put my hands in the air as they told me to avoid further problems.

"Who are you." They asked me. As I was about to answer them, I heard a familiar voice saying, "What happened?"

This voice is of Enya, and I saw her coming out from the pitch-black night. The moment she saw me, she ran and hugged me and said, "Thank god you are back, Art." She sounded anxious. I made them worry, right?

"Yes, Miss Enya. I am back in one piece."

She calmed herself and said, "Okay, Art, you need to come with me to the Guildhall and need to do a lot of things. I hope you understand that."

"Of course, I will co-operate with it," I replied.

"Then shall we leave now?" she said.

And then Miss Enya and I went back to the Guildhall. Since it was night-time, no one knew that I was back except those guards near the camp and a few higher-ups of Guildhall.

They didn't question me anything for today and told me that I could rest tonight and do that in the morning.

Currently, I am in my room lying on the bed.

I still wonder who that was; I couldn't even get a glimpse of him. But I felt like I have met him in my past life.

Leaving that aside, I have two questions.

One why I saw that scene when I was falling, and as soon as I saw that scene, I called her Lucy instead of calling her Lucia.

And the second question is, the woman I saw when I was falling and Lucia are they the same? I felt like they are the same, but the appearance felt different. I hadn't seen Lucia's face behind that helmet, and there was a size difference as well.

I was too tired, and my eyes started closing by themselves. I could even barely see anything now.

"Sorry Luci – I coul—"

I couldn't even complete my sentence, and I fell to sleep. But I heard Lucia's voice slightly in my head saying, "It's fine, you don't have to worry about it. We are waiting for you, so get a good rest and sleep, Art."
