Chapter 9: To The Dungeon

~ One Week Later ~

After one whole week, I am going back to the Guildhall.

Yes, one week passed, and I have done a lot this week. I have been training with Miss Enya, and while doing so, I learned many things. For instance, even though I have battle experience from my past life, sadly, that was not enough for the coming future.

I was missing the basics, as I never used my sword in my previous life until that day arrived. So even in this life, I am missing pure strength and stamina.

Well, well, let me breakdown it what I actually have been doing. For starting two days, I have been doing a hell of a lot of physical exercises like push-ups, running, pull-ups, etc. From the third day onwards, she taught me the basics of the sword. I continued doing for the next two days and continued doing physical exercises.

From the fifth day, I started sparring with her. Of course, I continued practicing sword basics and techniques and physical exercises.

It was not at all EASY at the start, but soon I got used to it. Even my muscles are forming, "Hehe." And yeah, Miss Enya even told me a few things about Electric elements and taught me it's fundamental.

As I said at the start, I am walking to Guildhall to continue doing missions until the time I got. Also, I am itching to go on an adventure since it's been seven days since I haven't done any.

After reaching the Guildhall, I was looking to enter a dungeon hunting party as I can now go for a dungeon hunt. But why is everyone's gaze on me? As I was figuring out what to do next, someone approached me.

"Hi, my self James, an A2 adventurer." He introduced himself along, mentioning his Guild ranking.

"Hello, I am Arturo."

As I introduced myself, he spoke, "Umm… If you don't mind, would you like to join our party? As we are also looking for a member."

"I don't mind, but are you sure cause this will be my first time going into the dungeon," I told him the truth though I was also looking for a party to join.

"Yes, yes, we are okay with it. I saw your fight against Miss Enya during the test, and more special about that is, it was Miss Enya who approached the fight. So why won't we choose someone who was acknowledged by Miss Enya?"

"You are giving my credit more than I deserve, but if you guys are okay with me joining your party, So am I."

"Great! Please follow me. I will take you to our remaining party members." And as he said, I followed and took me to his remaining party members.

"Hey everyone, we got ourselves a new member, and you know me," James said while waving at them. We walked to them,

"This is Arturo, as you all know him." James introduced me to his party members. And wait, they know me?

"Are you really the one who fought Miss Enya?" One of the female members asked me.

"Yeah," I replied. Wait, did I become famous or something after that day?

"Ah! Sorry, I didn't introduce myself, right? I am Chloe, a B3 adventurer, Tier-4 water and Tier-3 Ice element user. And I am a supporter."

{Ice is a sub-element of the water element. The majority of the water element user can use Ice element}

"Yo, I am Daniel. B2 adventurer and Tier-4 fire element user. I am a damage dealer."

"I am Layla. B3 adventurer and I can use healing magic and barriers."

{Healer magic and barrier magic falls under the light magic. They don't have any assigned Tier, but Healing magic can get stronger.}

"I will introduce myself again. I am James, the leader of this party. A2 adventurer and Earth element user. My role is a tanker."

{Earth element is a bit unique from other elemental magic.}

Everyone introduced themselves and mentioned their roles. Through none of them said their mana core colour stage.

"I am Arturo. A3 adventurer and Tier-4 in both Fire and Wind elements and Tier-3 in Electric element. I will gladly take any role you guys ask me to." Everyone was surprised hearing this and started bombarding questions to me.

[ Members of a part when going for a dungeon hunt, members of a party have unique roles assigned to them, and each of the roles assigned is important for the hunt. A total of four roles are there; Damage dealer, Tank, Healer, and Support.

Damage dealer: The one who damages the most among the members.

Tank: The one who deliberately attracts the enemy's attention and attacks as a decoy for the party member. Tank mainly works well for Damage dealers since they attract the enemies towards them, making it easier for them. Tank roles are more suited for earth element users.

Healer: One who heals their party member. A healer is always an essential factor.

Support: As the name mention, they support their members. Support allows for wide-range attacks and combinations. ]

I am thankful to them for letting me join their party.

We then immediately left the Guildhall for the dungeon hunt after filling in the essential details regarding me joining their party.

Dungeons, eh? Dungeons are one of the mysteries of the world. Currently, there's one big dungeon between the border of the Sapein Kingdom and the Darvian kingdom. The name of the dungeon is Primis dungeon or the first dungeon. From what I know about this dungeon, it is an underground and an overground dungeon, making it 40 floors in total. 20 underground and 20 overground.

[ Dungeons are like a labyrinth and one of the mysteries of the world. As of now, no one knows why there is a dungeon here on this continent. Inside a dungeon, there are inscribed structures with unknown characters, many monsters, boss monsters, guardians, and many strange things.

{Boss monsters act like a leader of a particular group of monsters.

Guardians are like the guardian of the dungeons, and they are stronger than boss monsters.} ]

Since we are on our way to the dungeon, let me tell you something about dungeons and people's views on them.

There are only about 40-50 people who go into a dungeon, even though there are more than 200 Adventurers. And that is because people are scared of the dungeon since there are many unknown and mysterious inside. There are superstitions that people who go inside the dungeon sometimes don't make it, so hearing that others are also scared and avoid going into dungeons. Then what about the Adventurers? They are the same. They avoid going into dungeons because most Adventurers became adventurers to make a living out of it. In contrast, the meaning of the adventurer is about exploring the unknown of the world. But there's nothing we can do about it.

It's just one right now. Many are going to spawn soon. After all, I have gone into them with her now and then when those spawned. "Come, let's go and explore that dungeon," saying that she always took me with her. "Sigh," It's was a drag, but I kinda miss those days now.

We soon reached InterCity.

{Inter City is one of the three independent cities in the Miscentia continent. Intercity is located near the Primis dungeon and also where the second Guildhall is situated. There's a second Guildhall because those Adventurers coming for the dungeon hunt can rest in here until they go back.}

"By the way, I have been wondering that you don't have any armor or any equipment on you, right Art? Chloe asked me.

To be honest, I never wanted to buy one cause I never needed one, but tell them this will be a bit…

"I forgot to buy some," a replied with a lame lie.

"Ha-ha, you are amusing, Art." Daniel laughed.

After this, we went into the InterCity's Guildhall and informed them about entering the dungeon. With all the details filled in, we stood right in front of the dungeon. It's been a long time since I came here.

"So, all the roles are the same, and Art will become our second Damage dealer," James said to his party members.

Everyone nodded so did I.

"Let's go and hunt some monsters," James shouted that to increase the morale of the party members.

Everyone enters the dungeon now.
