Chapter 13: Fated To Meet You

I explained my plan to them. The plan is to draw the attention of those orcs, including their leader, towards them, and I will lurk behind them. Since these orcs have their leader, they won't act unless their leader says to. So even if my party members draw their attention, they won't get attacked immediately.

To begin with, James will use "Aggro" on an increased level.

{Aggro is similar to Mana-will, but Aggro falls under the Earth element. So, one can increase their Aggro depending upon the user.}

Daniel will be our damage dealer as usual. Chloe will be supporting, and I have told Layla to use buff magic.

{Buff magic: In a radius, it will buff the members. Buffs will be strength increase, attack increase, etc.}

And in the meanwhile, I will lurk behind the orc's leader and finish him with one blow.

I gave them the signal, and James used "Aggro." Orc's attention was drawn towards them. As expected, they didn't attack them immediately. That's advantageous for me.

Without wasting any time, I lurked behind the orcs.

Chloe used "Ice-shot," which made them angry.

{Low-level orcs are short-tempered, which means a simple taunt that is physical is enough for them to lose their temper.}

Layla used her "Holy-buff."

{Holy-buff: A buff magic that falls under Light magic. No Tier grading for this.}

They are handling it pretty well. Okay, I am just right behind the orc's leader. I will end this in one shot. I dashed with the help of my wind element and using the sword technique, "Art of Fire Sword – Blazing Arc." Along with mana-manipulation in my sword, covering it with orange flames.

I attacked the orc's leader, swinging my blade downward in an arc diagonally. I cut his head neat and clean. Watching their leader's head flying rest of the orcs panicked, which resulted in their demise.

After killing those orcs, we explored a bit more and found some mana crystals, and we even got some orc's-horn as well.

{Some orcs have one or two horns on them which help make weapons etc.}

We went back to Floor-4 and the room we found the day before yesterday. In there, we took a small break. And after taking a break, we decided to head back for today and come for one last time tomorrow.

As we were heading back, Daniel spoke,

"Man, the sword thing you did to kill the orc's leader was pretty cool."

"Is that so? Cause I learned it from Miss Enya, or you could say I copied her." I replied with a slight laugh.

"Huh? You learned it from Miss Enya?" Daniel questioned.

"Yeah, before coming here, I trained under her for one week," I replied, and in sync, they all said,

James ~ Huh?

Daniel ~ Huh?

Chloe ~ Huh?

And I also joined them, "Huh?"

"You trained under Miss Enya; that's amazing, Art," Layla said. "Man, you sure are lucky when it comes to girls." Daniel groaned.

We continued talking on this topic until we arrived on Floor-3. I wonder when did they all start calling me Art. "Chuckles," Right from the beginning, wasn't it?

While walking through Floor-3. All of a sudden, a huge magic circle formed above us. The atmosphere around us changed drastically as if the other side of this mana circle was dangerous. Sparks were coming out, and the pressure was becoming intense.

This magic circle doesn't give a good feeling. All of them are frozen and cannot move even if they want. If something I can do is none other than pushing them out of the range of the mana circle. I immediately used "Wind storm," strong enough to push them all out of the mana circle. And before I could also get out, I was getting sucked in.

But fortunately, the rest of them are outside the range.

"Don't worry about me, I will be --" before I could even complete my sentence, I was sucked in completely.

I opened my eyes and woke up. I looked here and there, and all I could say was one thing. That is, "Where the hell am I?"

I stood up, and one thing I knew was that I was not in Sapein kingdom. No, I am not even in the Miscentia. The atmosphere and mana in the air feel a lot different than the Miscentia, so it is definitely not Miscentia.

I am inside a Dimensional-dungeon, I assume.

< Explanation >

[ Dimensional-dungeon; it is said to be a natural phenomenon that occurs once in a while in Miscentia. Whenever a Dimensional-dungeon appears, it's always portal (same as in Primis dungeon), but it's big in size. The portal leads you to a whole different area/place or sometimes inside a different dungeon.

The portal doesn't have a time limit on disappearing; it's a random thing. So only S-rank adventurers and high-ranking people enter. They form an investigating party and enter the portal. They will always have someone with spatial magic to also come back.

It is just a myth for now, but many say that the portal leads you to a different continent.]

Wait! What if I am never able to go back? Cause it's impossible to go back unless I know spatial magic.

"Sigh," Fine, I will look around.

Dimensional-dungeon, eh? An unprecedented act of nature is what many of them call this. This is also why many people avoid being Adventurer because of the fear that they might get teleported like this to somewhere else.

And someone getting sucked into a dimensional dungeon is unheard of or never happened – until today!

Aren't I lucky? "Hehe."

I continued walking around, hoping to find some clue or any help so that I could go back. While I was wondering, I heard the voice of a female.

"I shall be able to guide you to your destination." The voice said. "Please follow my instruction, child."

And thus, I started following her instruction. And following her instruction, I ended up here in front of the cave. "Come in," she said, and I entered the cave. I felt something different, so I checked if something was wrong.

Suddenly, the ground under me rumbled, and I fell. I managed myself and landed safely. But I cannot hear the voice now, but I can feel that someone is waiting there inside the cave. I walked in until I met them.

"So, you are finally here, child." A huge body wearing silver armor and weird yet good-looking helmet said. And also, the voice matches.

"Despite my look, I am not harmful. So come in, and have this food since you have been walking until you reached here."

Food? Really? "Really, you got something to eat?" I asked, but is it edible, though?

"Yes." And she then handed me the plate thing with something to eat on them. I took a bite, and it was delicious.

Now don't tell me that, how can you eat food offered by someone you haven't met? Come on, I know who is evil and who is good.

After having the food, she asked me to sit beside her, so I did. "Don't worry, I will send you back home, but it might take some time," she said. Wait, I can go back? Hush!!!

But I had some questions for her, and I felt like she knew something – everything.

"Umm…" But I don't her name and I don't know what to call her, and she understood that. "I am Lucia," she said.

"Ms. Lucia, I have some questions for you, so can I ask those?" I asked her.

She replied, "You can just call me Lucia, and if it's something I can answer, I will." Now, after hearing her voice, it's soft and cute, and it's not something you expect from a huge body wearing silver armor.

"My questions are: Where am I? Was it you who teleported me here? You are not a human, right? And the last one, is something going on here?"

"That's quite a lot, Hmm… I cannot answer the first question, but yeah, you are not in Miscentia,"

How does she know where I am from?

"…. And as you guessed it, I am not a human. And as for the last question, what did you mean?"

"Well, when I entered the cave, I felt that as If I passed through some barrier," I said.

"Do you sense that barrier thing?" she questioned, and I replied, "Well, not really, but I can feel that there's a difference inside the cave and outside the cave."

She took a pause before answering, "I will answer honestly. You see, the time flows differently here inside the cave. Let's say one day here in the cave will be one hour outside. And there's also a barrier to conceal my identity."

"Your identity?"

"Yes, as I said, I am not human but a dragon as per common language."

"Dragon, eh?" I repeated, but I was also not surprised cause I have met dragons in my past life. But never thought I would meet one this soon.

"You are not surprised?" she asked me? Well, that's an obvious question, but I replied, "No, not really."

"So let me also answer your fourth question as well, but I won't be able to give any details." She said, and I nodded, agreeing with her.

"Yes, something is going on, and something terrible will happen soon if it's not stopped." She said with a low voice.

Is she referring to the war? or is there more to it? Or is it something a whole different thing?

"When you said I am not in Miscentia, that means I am in a different continent, right?" when I said this, she turned her head around to me and said, "You know quite a lot, don't you?" but I also felt that she was staring at. Still, I am not sure because of that helmet.

"You have unlocked your Ki. You got three elemental magic, and your mana core colour stage is dark-yellow. For your age, you are pretty strong…."

She stopped in the middle, and out of nowhere, she brought her hands towards me, gently patted on me, and said, "Don't worry, I will help you this time for sure."
