CHAPTER 3 PROLOGUE

*RING RING RING RING RING RING RING* That is the class bell that dismisses everyone, as the children hear the bell they get out of there seats and stack the chairs upon each other, they then go towards the door but they are all fighting to go through in a stampede like manner

That's when the substitute teacher intervenes, " The Bell doesn't dismiss you I DISMISS YOU " he said in a stern voice, as his voice rang throughout the room all the students froze in place.

"Now all of you go back to your seats, I will call the quietest of you bunch to go through the door to go home" the substitute teacher said

While all the students went back towards there seats in a grumble, some of the bigger students where eying a meek looking student menacingly, even though the substitute teacher saw this he didn't do anything to stop it

After that 5 minutes passed and the teacher was standing in front of the class with the chalk board behind him, " Carlos you may leave don't forget to take the thing out of your locker " the substitute teacher said

" Thanks teach " Carlos thanked the teacher and left the room in haste

As all the students eyed the student that left it made them even more quiet, 5 minutes later and most of the room was empty leaving only zeke behind

" Uh-Um teacher you forgot about me " Zeke said in his usual meek tone

" I have not forgotten about you, in fact It's better if you don't go anywhere " as the substitute teacher said that

He went behind his desk and pulled out a gun, " Zeke Albatros you are here by arrested for the crime of manslaughter and other countless charges " the substitute said

The tension in the room at that moment increased by a lot, you may be wondering why has the substitute teacher acted now? And not before, also why has he thrown hiding out of the window and exposed himself so openly?

That's because a couple of hours ago around the after the substitute/ agent received a message from the police chief, the police chief informed him that he must insure the arrest of zeke, the substitute obviously asked the reason why they should arrest him, after all in the eye's of the agent zeke was pretty much innocent

Not to mention that arresting a innocent person because of someone else's crime and knowing that you are arresting the wrong person is very illegal not to mention the fact that him being in this school as an undercover agent is already illegal, to add more to the crimes they the police have committed is already crossing the line, after all aren't they justice? Why should resort to such means of deception and lies

Unknowingly the image of the police in the agents head degraded by a lot, the reason the police chief told him to arrest zeke was because the people of the police department were being threatened by the government, they said that they would close the investigation if they don't make anymore progress, to save his and everyone else's jobs and reputation the police chief suggested that they catch the person that was most likely the Jester

The government considered the idea but then came another problem, If zeke is arrested and the murders still keep happening then what will they do after all that is only a temporary solution, that's when the idea came

They can control the flow of news, they can trick the populace into thinking that a new murderer has emerged when in reality it's just the same person Jester doing the murders

Now you might be asking why has the police and the government gone to such great lengths to catch Jester? That is because Jester has been killing people over the span of 5 years!!!!

And over those years Jester has killed politicians billionaires and thousands of civilians and countless other great figures of power, the damage he has caused the world IS TO BIG

Not to mention the public's reaction every time he kills, sometimes the government itself receives pressure from the populace of when they will catch the killer, because of these riots and public outcry, the united states had to elect 8 presidents in the span of only 2 years, because the government would direct and put all the blame on the presidents

The amount of chaos and destruction Jester has caused is to powerful, not to mention the fact that the investigation on the guy has gone nowhere, its kinda like light yagami even though he couldn't be Kira it turned out that he was, its the same situation with zeke, he is and is not the killer

Now the government has taken drastic measures, even If the killing of zeke is the loss of an innocent life, the gains that it will bring to the world as a whole is worth the sacrifice.

When the agent received this information he was appalled to learn of this but there was nothing that he could do about it, he wasn't even a real agent, he was just a police officer who had some experiences in stalking sneaking and other things because of his experiences in the past, in reality he isn't even qualified to do the job of an agent

But there was nothing the police could do, the government had stopped supporting there investigation long ago so they had to use what they had and make do with it

The agent contemplated his decision, because in reality he is about to catch the actual Jester, of course he doesn't know that but still any person would hesitate to sacrifice such an innocent looking boy who is I might add is being severely bullied. The boy's life is already bad so does he still deserve such a fate?

The agent gritted his teeth and walked closer to zeke while zeke in response started shaking while tears where forming in his eye, all the agent could feel was pity

Even though in the eyes of the agent the boy was completely harmless the agent still treated him like a very bad criminal, It was the least he could do for the boy, to be treated in the best way possible for a criminal that has killed thousands of people

While all this was happening the school was already empty even the staff was gone WHY? Because the government had sent an emissary to personally tell them that zeke was the jester, they used that excuse as a reason to evacuate them

Outside the school the parameter of the entire school was surrounded by police cars and fbi agents with riot shields there were hundreds of police and fbi surrounding the school, why would they go to such lengths to catch a single person not to mention that he is practically innocent?

The thing is that most of the police and fbi don't even know that zeke actually is not the killer and is being falsely accused, if they knew that he was being falsely accused then why would they be here? in fact they would leave the police force, how do I know?

Because I'm the narrator I AM GOD I KNOW ALL I CAN SEE ALL AND CAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE PAST AND PRESENT ACCEPT THAT FACT MORTAL READER

The government predicted that if they were to tell the public heck even the police force and fbi agents that would cause of panic and fear after all the government is supposed to keep order they are the good guys they aren't supposed to be so evil, if the fact that Zeke was not Jester was released to the populace then there would be distrust and enmity between the government and the people they are governing

The police were on high alert after all they were surrounding and arresting the infamous JESTER, that is an honour in itself, so they gave 110% percent in the arrest of JESTER

After 5 minutes passed a police officer shouted, " LOOK OVER THERE SOMEONE IS COMING OUT " as he said that

All the bored police officer's put there hands on there guns even the fbi agents did the same they even brang there riot shields closer to them from this action alone you could tell that even though they were surrounded by a mini army they still were nervous

The truth is that most of these officers and fbi agents were victims of Jester having there wife killed heck even some of their children

The Police hand picked these people, because after all what is the best coping tool to justify murder than revenge? Telling themselves that it was for their kids and that it was the right thing to do, even though they weren't going to be killing zeke, it was the best choice to choose people with a grudge against him as to insure that nobody hesitates in killing a child if necessary

It was the perfect setup, the government had everything planned from start to finish there was nothing that could go wrong, not to mention the news camera men that were filming the scene of zeke's arrest, normally the government and police wouldn't allow such a thing but broadcasting zeke's arrest was a good way to shift some of the populcaces enmity of the government onto zeke not only that but the respect and love that the people held for the government would increase because it would look like they are doing something to stop Jester's rampage

The government did all of this just to ensure their position in the hearts of the people, especially to ensure the positions of the people in power wouldn't lose reputation.

Not only did the government remove the pressure from the people but they even INCREASED there reputation by leaps and bounds they were even loved more than before the era of Jester's tyranny, In the eye's of the government it was truly a fair trade

To sacrifice the life of a boy in exchange for more wealth and reputation, truly sinister indeed

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hello it's me again the arrest of zeke wasn't just something that I pulled out of my ass it was something that I thought about deeply, and had to rewrite the chapter several times to explain why zeke's arrest was the best option the government had to take, In layman's terms I made this chapters as an explanation and reason for what's about to happen in the later chapters of the story and to also show there was a deeper meaning to Zeke's arrest, I also could have not used an entire chapter to explain such a thing but I did anyways for a reason, I did so because I know there will definitely be people complaining as to why the mc got arrested and things like that especially after all that I said in the previous chapter's on how Zeke is virtually impossible to get arrested also don't skip this chapter because even though I have said this IT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE CHAPTERS, just know that I have put much thought into this story for your reading pleasure anyways i'm out happy reading my fellow readers
