After getting dressed, Augusto ordered Helena to explore the village in search of something that could help them on their journey.
After hearing the woman's reports, the angel was inclined to believe she arrived at the Abyss by the same spatial crack he was thinking of using. However, the strongest demon in the group was only from the fourth circle, and by the memories of the great centipede, the space crack was surrounded by monsters from the fifth circle.
— Intriguing ... If I could repeat the same method that the demons used, I could leave this place sooner.
— For now, what I can do is try to unravel the secrets of this ritual, and find clues about the entity that would receive the offerings.
Watching the fire that continued to burn mysteriously and then the position of the pentagram, the angel came to a conclusion:
— It is an offering ritual for a demonic entity. The mysterious flame is probably a symbol of worship.
Worship symbols were objects that contained an entity's share of power. They could be used as recipients of faith and rituals of the most diverse. The sacred objects that were in the temples of worship to the different gods were an example.
These symbols received the energy that was offered and sent them to the corresponding entity.
— Probably some higher demon I imagine.
— However, there are not enough elements to discover the name of the entity. — said the angel
Then he restored the magical formation around the village and said to Helena:
— This village will be our shelter from now on, with this formation, we will not have to worry about attacks by creatures below the fourth circle.
And she replied:
— As you wish, my master, but if I may ask the question, what are your plans going forward?
The angel put his hand on his chin and started to think. And then he said:
— My original plan was to master the element of darkness and reach at least the fifth magic circle.
— I believe you came to the Abyss by a special crack of which I am aware of the location. However, this crack is surrounded by monsters from the fifth circle.
— But it will not be an easy journey, at the moment I am just one step away from advancing to the fourth circle. And you know that the amount of energy needed to reach the fifth circle is immense ...
Helena was surprised to learn that the angel was only in the third magic circle. Furthermore, his mastery of magic, combat ability, presence was not of a creature in the third circle.
Watching the angel's struggle with the demons, she thought he was at least in the fifth circle.
— I know what you're thinking, woman. Said the angel.
— Although the energy contained in me is not only in the third circle, the density and my influence on mana are very high.
— In Heaven, we were not allowed to explore mana freely, and the amount of energy an angel has is defined by the Creator. Although this does not change the fact that I am a superior creature, do not try to define me by human standards.

The woman agreed, he was absolutely more powerful!
— Love, could I have the honor to know your name?
— Um ... I don't see any problems. My name is Augusto, and before you start to speculate why an angel like me is in the abyss. It is enough to know that I was forgotten by the Light. — said Augusto in a serious tone.
— Yes, Master Augusto. Replied the woman.
After talking, Helena went to one of the huts and started to meditate.
Unlike Augusto, who used the energy of other monsters to feed himself. Humans needed to meditate to accumulate mana in their bodies, and they needed to eat nutritious food. Even at least the seventh circle.
In the seventh circle, humans would undergo changes that would elevate them to a higher plane as beings. However, the amount of food a human would need to stay alive would decrease as he progressed as a magician.
Generally speaking, magicians were all those individuals who could control mana. That is, the vast majority of the creatures of the Three Worlds.
The Three Worlds were the worlds where large societies developed with thanks to the power to manipulate mana. They are:
The Celestial Plane, where the gods, their vassals and other mysterious entities live;
The Mortal World, where a vast number of species and monsters live, the most numerous of which are humans;
The Underworld, where demons, abyssal creatures and other even more unknown monsters live.
There is a balance between the great forces of these 3 worlds. They all produced very powerful individuals, which prevented one world from governing the other. This, of course, did not guarantee absolute peace. Powers were anarchic and individuals moved on their own.
It was a common view that the various beings of the demonic world would invade the Mortal World and vice versa.
Augusto decided to explore the village a little more and found some more chests left by the demons. The vast majority of objects were nothing but rubbish, but he can enjoy some things.
One was a wool shirt that he found. The angel was still getting used to the idea of wearing robes. At the moment he was wearing only dark pants, which looked like the leather of some beast.
He retracted his great wings and they penetrated his back leaving only two scars. Then he dressed in the shirt.
— I don't feel comfortable with my wings retracted. But it is the only way to wear this shirt. Besides, it seems that my body has a great effect on that woman. I need her to stay focused on the challenges that we will face.
— However, I must confess that I am curious to unravel the mysteries of her body.
— After I arrived at the Abyss, I feel that I am surrendering more and more to desires and I am only remaining completely committed to the plan thanks to the concept of Knowledge. But I must say that I like to feel, to want to be overwhelmed by feelings that I could not have had before.
After this moment of reflection, the angel decided to pay attention to magic and think about ways to get stronger quickly. He realized that in this place, where the densest element was darkness, the magic of other elements was noticeably weaker.
Originally, the element that Augusto dominated the most was the focus. And his achievements in mana control were superior even in Heaven. It was as if he had the power to control a cannon, but he was only given a pistol.
— Unfortunately, although it is dense and extremely concentrated, the mana I can accumulate is still low. My combat feat in the Abyss is due to my refined control over mana.
— Only a small amount of energy is needed to advance to the fourth circle. However, to achieve that much circle, it will be necessary to absorb a colossal amount of energy.
— Perhaps it is time to apply the advanced knowledge that I acquired during my thousand years of studying magic.
Augusto spoke specifically of a skill called Magic Fusion. This advanced skill consists of creating a symbiotic effect between two distinct elements. As is well known, mana changed its characteristics depending on mysterious environmental conditions.
The elements had particularities, as well as advantages and disadvantages. Magic Fusion was an alternative that scholars of magic found when looking at some
mysterious beasts. These beasts used spells combining two elements and generating terrifying power!
— Magic Fusion is a complex skill. And even with all my knowledge it will be difficult to apply it with mastery.
— I need more power !! Exclaimed the angel.
He also began to reflect on the struggle with demons. Augusto realized that his strategy only worked because he was fighting a large number of enemies, that is, he would have a large amount of energy to absorb after defeating the weaker demons.
The [Crown of Darkness] was an incredible and creative spell. However, it could not be used in all scenarios.
— I should only use the [Crown of Darkness] in situations where I can absorb the energy of other creatures right away. Otherwise, I will be injured in a battle situation.
— The concept of Retribution is a valuable weapon to fight angels, but I need to find other ways to get around their weaknesses.
