Recently our training is going well, Victor, Bell, Ventura and Mori are all progressing closer to their evolution's. How can I tell? Well like what happened to me they are becoming more opaque, although they don't seem to need to gain levels, it looks like normal evolution's happen after enough Mana is absorbed, it must be different for me with the system but I will need to wait for Ezra to come back before I can confirm anything.

Oh! Speak of the devil, Victor, the first ghost that decided to follow me has started to absorb the Mana mist in the air at a terrifying pace, it looks like he's about to evolve.

A cyclone of Mana is drawn from the nearby pool and is furiously surging into the nearby Victor. His body compressing at an increasingly alarming pace, it almost seems as if he will explode into nothingness if he fills up anymore.

The energy is spiraling out of control, and a windstorm forms not unlike the one that happened to me only on a smaller scale, I and the other three Minor Ghosts move back purely from the pressure, I move in front of them as I find it somewhat easier to stand my ground. This continues on for a while until suddenly the sound of shattering glass echoes around us before all goes silent.

Looking over towards where Victor once was, is a larger more defined version of his previous self, he has more than doubled in size, growing even larger than me, however his colour is still that of a hazy grey and he lacks any appendages like my tendrils. His actual form is now more like a typical ghost than an orb, with a rounded top falling into a point like tail towards the ground. He turns to me and stares with his newly formed eyes, deep black holes which seem able to peer into one's soul, it almost seems as if he is sizing me up...

"Victor, are you challenging me!?" I declare with an authoritative tone, even going as far as to project out my pure death energy as well as my voice.

Victor's body suddenly trembles violently and he stares at me in shock, "No master, I'm sorry for my disrespect." He says while bowing his head towards me, the challenge receding from his eyes.

It seems he can talk more fluently now but I should be careful around him, I've noticed he seems to have a domineering aspect to him and he seems to try and control the others to obey him. I might need to show my might at some point lest he or the others try to overthrow my leadership...

Wait, what's that noise? It sounds like flapping wings... Birds? I've never seen anything other than Minor Ghosts in this area, someone or something new is coming, and they are coming fast. I can sense three Mana signatures heading up to the top of the plateau, shit, they feel strong, especially one of them, perhaps even as strong as me. Quickly deciding on a plan I turn to the others.

"We have visitors, Victor you take charge, don't attack until we know their agenda, the rest of you follow Victor and pretend I was never here." I say before trying a new skill I managed to pick up during training, I discovered that I can use 'Drain' to drain the light from my surroundings, effectively making me semi visible, not quite translucent but harder to see. For precaution I then sink into the Mana pool just in case they also have a Mana detection skill or something similar. Now we wait...

"We are almost to the top, keep flying. Durke, did you feel that burst of death energy just now?" Shouted Eleanora, trying to project her voice past the fierce winds which suddenly sprang up around the trio.

Durke turns to his mistress and silently stares for a few seconds before speaking out, "Eleanora, if things go bad, and I tell you to run, then you run and don't look back", he says with a deep dreary voice, before turning to stare towards the top of the giant mirror like wall, seemingly refusing to take his eyes off of the direction where that energy was felt.

Run? Things might be bad up there but I will never run, not while threats to the tribe exist, swore Eleanora to herself, before flapping her wings with even more determination.

Suddenly the wall in front of their faces disappear, and they have a view of what awaits them, in front of them about 40 meters ahead stand a Ghost and three Minor Ghosts, all of the death element.

"Leave this placeee, or pay the priceee." shouted the larger Ghost, while projecting as much pressure onto them as he could.

"Hmph, trash, where is your master? No way in hell are you the so called Fog of Death, you are just a Ghost, a slightly larger meal, call them out, or are they so afraid of dying!" Screamed Eleanora before pulling a thin blade from her waist, similar to a rapier but with two curved hooks towards the end.

Durke and Aren act in kind and draw their weapons, Durkes being a huge hammer which any normal man would need both hands to carry, yet he swings it effortlessly with one, while Arens is similar to Eleanoras except thicker and longer. However their attention is focused on searching the surroundings rather than the four in front of them.

"So you've chosen deathhh, let's kill them!" Shouted one of the Minor Ghosts, Mori, feeling humiliated at being ignored. She charged ahead with anger, wishing to devour the Incubi and Succubus in front of her...

However in the eyes of the three higher ranked demons this is just the struggle of an ant trying to avoid their fate. Durke tensed his arms, veins emerging from his forearms like wriggling worms, he swung his hammer towards the Minor Ghost, creating piercing winds which tore off large quantities of her health, or more literally a part of her body itself. Mori falls effortlessly to the ground, struggling in immense pain, trying to stand.

"Hmph, food trying to fight back, what a joke, Durke, finish them off so we can continue searching for our target." Sneered Eleanora in disdain at the actions of these Ghosts, 'trash will always be trash' she thought.

"Mistress!" Suddenly screamed Durke and Aren, noticing a black shadow leaping towards her, Aren was too slow to reach her but Durke managed to arrive in time, throwing her towards Aren, "Protect her!" he shouted, however doing so left him vulnerable, and before he could react, a long black arrow emitting corrosive steam shot through his thigh.

"Arghh!" Turning to the source of the attack he sees the larger Ghost laughing in glee while charging another attack, "Sneaky bastard" he snarled before pulling the arrow out and charging towards his attacker, while also using his wings to propel him forward to avoid putting pressure on his wound.

Meanwhile Eleanora, ashamed and angry at being sneak attacked charged towards the Minor Ghosts, starting with the downed Mori, "With me Aren!" She exclaimed while sprinting toward her target.

"Yes Eleanora!" cried Aren while running to her side and watching out for other sneak attacks, however before Eleanora and Aren could make any progress towards reaching Mori, a larger dark shadow shot towards the duo, thinking it was just another arrow, they both moved to dodge, however once it got closer they realised in horror that it was another ghost, only it was a pitch black one with burning fire red eyes, and it was too close to avoid it's attack.
