Ugh, my head hurts so much, or... something hurts, I don't think I have a head, or much of anything really, weirdly I can sense my own body, it feels light, and my general shape seems to be that of an orb, but really, the Nether Realm? Not Earth? I mean I guess I expected some sort of fantasy elements to this whole thing, as I am apparently now a ghost, not a human, but to think other realms exist... Wait, what about the quest to leave the void? "Ezra?"
*DING* "Host need not worry, the system only held the notices back until you managed to gather your bearings and adapt to your new situation."

"Sub quest? The mana one? How did I achieve that if I don't even know what mana is."

"I see, I'll have to try and figure this mana stuff out as it seems important, also 'Drain' seems pretty plain sounding as far as spells go, I was hoping for something more practical such as fireball or heal. Show my my status Ezra."

Affinities, great, even more I have to learn, I feel like my questions are increasing quicker than I gain answers. But instant evaporation? Damn that sounds nasty, guess it's better than how I died before though... What the hell, I can't remember how I died, I swear it wasn't that long ago, maybe my age being 4 years might have something to do with that, I guess I spent 4 years in the void and a lot of me got wiped as Ezra put it.
Anyways back to my status it seems like I have a base to work with now, still no name although I've gained a race, seems that ghosts are a type of spirit, makes sense as far as my nonsensical situation allows. And I gained a bunch of stats, mainly in Agility but a pretty overall improvement from before, and with 1100 SP I hope I can gain a better body, one with eyes would be nice.

*DING* "Correct, firstly let me inform you that the shell you acquired cannot be changed, once it was formed your soul melded with it completely, to choose anew would require death which is highly unrecommended as it may destroy you entirely. However as your guide, I only offered you forms which have room for growth, for example you could have reincarnated as a common mouse on Earth for 35 SP, although you would live and die as an ordinary mouse. Whereas a Ghost could grow to become a Wraith or a Living Weapon and further onward to a Living Armor to quote a couple of examples.
Regarding the change in your status, you gained 1 level resulting in a +1 to all stats, it happens every time you level although stats can be improved in other ways such as training, the +3 you gained to agility is a racial bonus, as what could be more agile than a semi-gaseous body?
By the way yes you are a Ghost and not a wisp, remember I can read your thoughts, you look like a glowing orb purely because you are only a 'Minor' variant, as you grow stronger your form will become more defined.
Regarding your lack of a name, as you are not one of the gods favored, a human, you cannot be given a name, as a Forsaken, or an unfavored, you must earn your name, think of it like the named monsters in some of the games from Earth.
Lastly yes, you have lost memories due to being in the Void, but no, it is not from the 4 years, I have managed to gather data once we left the Void which shows that technically speaking you spent 4 years as a Ghost in the void, as a consciousness however you were there for 612 years, while it seems to have passed in an instant, as stated previously, time is relative in Limbo."
... 616 years... I'm speechless really, but I guess it is what it is. Maybe my lack of certain memories is helping me adapt quicker though, I don't feel weird just being a floating orb for one, despite thinking I should have at least eyes let alone the rest of a human body. Anyway I guess it's time to move on from here, I've literally been floating in the middle of nowhere for what feels like forever, with nothing to see, or rather nothing to sense, other than grey sand dunes for miles around me, I've occasionally sensed other floating orbs, which I assume are Minor Ghosts just like I am, however they don't seem to be doing anything.

Okay so I have a general direction now, thanks Ezra I guess, anyways there's no time like the present so... Target spotted, a slightly blue tinted 'Minor Ghost' is all alone about 100 meters away, I guess I should create a plan of action first as I don't even know what I'm capable of with this body of mine, once that's decided on then I shall make my first stand in my new life, and maybe see about succeeding this Lord Whatshisface to repay him for Ezra, I mean they technically saved my life... Well, really I've just got nothing else to do so... Let's go!
