1 The End of the beginning

It's been around 30 years since the zombie apocalypse has started and it has completely ruined the world. I am Jason Teller and I am one of the few survivors left on planet earth. This is the story of how I died and was reborn a month before it all started. So me and my girlfriend Jess Nella and my best friend James York where scouting for food when we heard a zombie scream, We turned to were it was and it turned out to be a horde coming our way. We decided to make a break for it but than my best friend shot me in the leg and both Jess and James looked at me and said "You're of no more use to us now be our bait" and I snapped. After a few minutes they were gone and the horde was moving in, I randomly heard a voice saying "How would you like a restart?" I laughed and jokingly said "I'd love one if that was even possible" The next thing I knew a bright light appeared in front of me. As I opened my eyes all I saw was my freshman classroom and everything was normal. Than I heard the voice again "System Active" and I jumped realizing it was real.
