23 Plan of Attack

Tomura, Kurogiri and Toga waited for Deku to return to the bar with Stain. Tomura and Stain were yet to meet each other, so Deku had to take matters into his own hands and bring them together.

"We're here!" Deku kicked the door, making it swing open. Behind him was Stain wearing his usual outfit colored black, grey and red whilst almost being intimidating. Deku was wearing his suit that he wore for the attack at the sports festival, and had his hair to the side like Toga had done it before.

Deku skipped over and sat on the stall next to Toga as Tomura stood up to confront the Hero Killer, after all, he was curious to see what all the fuss was about.

"I'm Tomura Shigaraki, it's nice to finally meet you." Tomura's raspy voice didn't get a response other than Stain looking up and down at Tomura's pale body, "So, Hero Killer. What was the reason why you joined so easily?"

That was a question Tomura was desperate to ask. Since they found the location of the Hero Killer, Tomura expected it to take some time before they were actually able to recruit Stain, but Deku did it in one night.

"You League of Villains don't have any conviction, but we agree on one thing: to destroy the present. You may not have conviction, but I'm sure you will be useful." Stain gave his explanation, making it clear to Deku that Stain will just become a nuisance to the group despite being useful.

"Ugh, all this talk about conviction. Kurogiri, let's get rid of him." Tomura began scratching his neck furiously, annoyed with how disappointing Stain turned out to be.

"Huh? Am I not good enough for your team?" Stain started to become irritated too, and the room started to get heated. With Tomura getting more angry by the second, Stain pulled out the two machete's from their scabbards on the side of his waist.

Deku watched closely as the two opposing forces stood in front of each other. Kurogiri noticed that Deku had his attention drawn to the two men, so he decided that he did not need to interfere.

Tomura stopped scratching and reached his hand out to grab Stain by the neck, of course, that didn't work. Stain avoided the attack with ease by moving to the side, and counterattacked by running his weapon into Tomura's shoulder and caused them both to fall to the ground. The room was silent for a moment as blood crawled out from Tomura.

Stain tapped his finger into the small puddle of blood and licked it, causing Tomura to be paralyzed.

"So this is what the League of Villains is really like? Just a couple of children playing with fire?" Stain broke the silence and voiced his complaint. When he had encountered Deku, Stain expected the League of Villains to be more powerful than what he had just seen.

"You really are so annoying." Tomura gave his response. That was when Deku finally stepped in.

"I agree. I thought you would be much more fun, Hero Killer." Deku's voice was cold as he stood up from his stool and walked over to Stain, "Do you have any idea how disappointed I was?" Kneeling down to level with the Hero Killer, Deku gave a menacing stare.

Suddenly, Deku grabbed Stain by the hair and with his super strength quirk, few him backwards and against the wall. Deku pulled out the machete from Tomura's shoulder and analyzed the weapon.

"Your weapons may be cool, but I hate you." Deku spun the weapon around for all the blood to fly off as Stain made a struggled attempt to get back up.

His knees were wobbling, but Stain finally stood up as high as he could and gave Deku a death stare. However, that stare was soon gone as all the knives that were hidden within Deku's blazer appeared in front of Stain.

"So you were holding back when we first met? Are you sure you aren't the leader?" Hearing Stain ask that question annoyed Deku even more as he walked closer to the Hero Killer. Deku's eyes were filled with the intent to murder, but it was obvious from his actions that murdering Stain was not his plan.

"I may be the strongest, but that doesn't mean I'm the leader." The knives around Stain created room for Deku to get closer to the Hero Killer, "I think its about time you leave."

Deku held the machete by the end of its blade so that the handle was facing Stain for him to take it back. Stain took the weapon from Deku's hand and put it back into its scabbard with the other machete.

With Deku keeping a close eye on him, Stain slowly limped towards bar door to leave. Just before Stain left, he looked back at Tomura, who was now standing and holding his injured shoulder. The sound of the door closing was then followed by a sigh of relief from Deku as all the knives were placed back into his blazer.

"That was awesome!" Toga complimented on how intimidating Deku was in that moment.

"Thanks." Tomura shocked everyone in the room as he thanked Deku for helping him. Even though it was short, it was still a core memory for Deku.

"No problem!" Deku joyfully smiled and the mood of the bar had lightened. The only issue left was Tomura's injury, but it was quickly solved when Kurogiri wrapped bandages around it, preventing Tomura from dying of blood loss.

For a moment, everyone was just hanging out. Tomura talking with Kurogiri, whilst Deku and Toga made jokes and talked about what they could do next. Then, Deku remembered something.

"Oh, Tomura. Follow me!" Deku stood up from his stool, and without a complaint other than a sigh, Tomura sat up from his stool and followed Deku.

Toga knew what they were going to be talking about, but Kurogiri was left in the dark. Deku and Tomura left the bar and walked to the roof, under the night lit sky. Deku sat on the edge with one leg hanging down and one knee up whilst Tomura stood next to Deku on the same edge, looking over the blinding lights.

"I have a plan on how we can deal with our Stain issue." Deku was being serious as he didn't see any reason to make jokes about his plan, "We'll just get rid of him by getting him arrested during our Hosu attack."

Hearing the short version of Deku's plan got Tomura's attention.

"And how do you suppose we do that?" Tomura looked down at Deku as he waited for his response, but the response he got was not what he had expected.

"I don't know yet. I'll see what I can do when the time comes, you don't even have a role in this plan other than to not interfere if Stain were to be captured." Deku didn't exactly have a plan on how to get Stain arrested, just that he was going to get him arrested.

"Tch." Tomura was annoyed that Deku hadn't thought out the main part of the plan, but because he didn't have a plan of his own, Tomura just let Deku do his own thing.

The cold wind blew through the air and filled the silence. Deku and Tomura looked over all the people who were unaware of what was about to come, but Deku couldn't stay out for long. After attacking the sports festival and announcing himself as a villain in front of the world, his face was everywhere.

"I should probably head inside, let's go." Deku moved himself back from the edge of the building with his arms and lifted himself up. A new world was ahead of Deku now that the world new who he was, but Deku enjoyed being known.

Not only is the fact that Deku managed to attack the sports festival, but the fight between him and Endeavour made headlines when Deku showed that he could hold his own against the number two hero. People were afraid of Deku, especially since there was a high chance that Deku would be victorious had the fight continued.

--------------------

"Deku, from what we saw when you attacked the sports festival, you managed to surpass your current limits with your telekinesis." Kurogiri's voice came from the speakers on the side of the large and empty white room. Deku was in his suit, ready to fight against more of the training Nomu.

"I only managed to do that thanks to Amplifier. I'm guessing you want to see if I have control over that quirk?" Before the fight against Endeavour, Deku couldn't control which quirk that Amplifier would amplify, nor could he choose how much he wanted to amplify it by. However, that was not what Kurogiri wanted.

"Now, we will be improving the strength of your Telekinesis without the Amplifier." Kurogiri had no intention of having Deku fight against Nomu for the first half of his training, instead, many large rocks were pushed out from the walls.

When Deku looked around, he counted eighteen in total, nine more than what he had controlled in his fight.

"I want to see how far you can go with the quirk on its own." Deku had only just realized what Kurogiri had planned in that moment, and it was a plan Deku knew he would enjoy. An excited smile came over Deku's face, but not a confidant one.

"You got it!" Listening to his orders, Deku closed his eyes and focused on just four of the rocks in front as he lifted up both his right and left arm. He felt a force pulling his arms back down as he tried lifting them up, but when he opened his eyes, they revealed a sight that Deku didn't expect to see.

In front of him was four floating rocks, only a meter above the ground but they were floating. Deku laughed for a few short seconds in celebration, but he couldn't stop there.

He closed his eyes again and focused on more of the rocks in front, attempting to add another four to the four he already had in the air. Just like last time, he felt a force trying to force him down, in fact, Deku became tense as he tried to push himself.

On the inside, Deku was repeating the word "more" in his head over and over again to try and do better. Eventually he felt the force pushing him down had lightened. After opening his eyes yet again, they revealed ten objects floating in the air, about three meters off the ground.

Deku was shocked to see that he had done better than what he was aiming for, and even Kurogiri was surprised.

"Well done, Deku. This is a great milestone." Kurogiri congratulated Deku. Deku looked up at the window that belonged to the room that looked over the training room. In that room were computers, Kurogiri and Toga. Toga looked at Deku in awe of his ability, and Deku joyfully smiled back.

Then, looking away from the window, Deku decided to take on the whole challenge. He closed his eyes yet again, and focused on every rock in that room. He tried his best, and the pressure returned.

He tried to keep his balance and held his breath for quite some time, but he was forced down onto one knee. Deku lost his focus and the all the rocks he had lifted before fell back to the ground whilst Deku caught his breath.

A cold sweat came down the side of Deku's face, but he wiped it away with the back of his hand.

"You can do this, Izuku!" Toga took the thin mic from Kurogiri's hand and tried to motivate Deku, and it worked.

Deku got back up onto his feet and took a deep breath, closing his eyes yet again and visualizing every rock in that room. The heavy weight returned to stop Deku from achieving his objective, but the sound of Toga's voice pulled him along.

"Go! Go! I-zu-ku!" Toga cheered Deku on, saying each syllable of his name in a pattern to make a rhythm as if she was a cheerleader whilst jumping up and down.

Deku screamed to force his body to stand strong, bending his back forward and facing the ground, sweating with his lower arms lifted up to the height of his waist. Then, every rock around him, all eighteen, lifted around five meters into the air.

Most of the pressure had been lifted with the rocks, but there was still a lot for Deku to only take a quick glance at the rocks he lifted in the air with a bright smile before collapsing from pushing his body too far.
