121 The End

The war had come to an anti-climactic end. With the five elders and a large majority of the higher-ups, the World Government was reduced to a few thousand in number. The days following the announcement, it was celebrated throughout the world.

But the work was far from done, as in all wars, there was a period of recovery as people displaced by battle struggled to find a new way to make a living. It was a chance to curry favor with the masses.

A new government was established comprised of the few kingdoms that had allied themselves with our forces, making a new council of more than fifty rulers. The top two seats belonged to me representing the Chainbreaker Kingdom, Dragon in charge as the Revolutionary Army was now acting as law enforcement.

To jump-start the economy, I used my position to create a law where all of the treasure and Berri found on property confiscated from World Nobles and Fiver Elders would be directly used to fund reconstruction and reimbursing those who had lost someone in the war.

As for my own personal life, I finally gave Leana the family I promised her after I proposed to all three of my women. While I had attended multiple weddings, I never expected to walk up the aisle myself.

Thane night, I went to sleep surrounded by Robin, Cal, and Leana, all naked while sleeping after I satisfied all of them.

There was also the Poneglphy which robin was working tirelessly to translate. Still, Joy Boy had taken every precaution, and each word had several meanings which took several days to decode.

And though my curiosity was begging me to at least take a peek at the message, my time was occupied with other things. I stopped outside the door of Abby's house before knocking, "Come in."

I cleared my throat before entering. Walking up the stairs, I entered a room to see Abby tending to a bedridden Evos. At first glance, he looked to be asleep, but he was in a coma. It had been two years since I first rescue him from Laugh Tale, and he hadn't stirred once.

Abby looked up at me with tired eyes, "Why isn't he up yet? I gave him the medicine as you told me, so why isn't he up?" I walked over and placed my hand on his forehead gently, "He is recovering from the trauma as his mind debates with itself how to protect Evos from the pain. I could bring him out of the coma prematurely, but it is doubtful he would return to us the way we remember."

Abby collapsed in on herself as if it was the first time hearing the news, "I know, but I can't wrap my head around it." I sighed, "I should get going. Please tell me if there are any changes."

Abby nodded but didn't say anything. Leaving her house, I created a portal teleporting me to the modest cabin built on Laugh Tale. When I opened the door, both my legs were tackled by two small blurs, "Daddy!"

I couldn't help but smile as I leaned down and picked up the boy and girl with wolf ears who shared by features. I kissed them both on the forehead, "Daddy's home!"

I kissed Ranya and Danny on the forehead and watched as their eyes twinkled with the unscared joy of childhood, "Yes, I am, though I can't stay long. I need to speak with your birth mother. Do you know where she is?"

Ranya nodded and pointed further into the house, "Mommy is in the garden. She told us not to tell you, though." I put my son and daughter down, "Don't worry, you're secret is safe with me."

I went to leave when Danny ran in front of me, "Da,d you promised you would teach me how to fight." I ruffled his hair, "You're too young to be worrying about such things. Enjoy the time you have, trust me."

Danny pouted, and I sighed, unable to refuse him, "Fine, I can teach you a form or two only if you finish your studies." Danny looked like he wanted to object, but he finally gave in, "Fine!"

I smiled before going to rub his head again, but he fended me off. With a smile on my face, I walked out the back and stopped. Leana was struggling to bend down over her bloated belly to pick up a shovel from the ground.

I walked over and picked it up for her, "You should really be taking it easy. You need all the rest you can get." Leana smiled as I wrapped my arms around her, "I'm fine. Besides, I heard it's good for the kids if I stay active."

I placed my hand on her belly, and a second later, I felt the unborn child inside kick. Sharpening my hearing, I found a very welcome surprise. Leana looked over her shoulder and saw me smiling, "What is it?"

I kissed the top of her head, "You're having triplets. I may have to expand the house soon." Leana gasped before kissing me fiercely, "Our family is growing so quickly. I wonder how many when you're going to knock up Cal?"

"Don't say that to her face, you might give her a heart attack." Leana smiled before looking up at the mountain, "Do you ever think about what's out there."

I looked with her, "Before I did but why would I may not have the perfect life but it's mine."
