3 Meeting my Attacker ... Or Saviour?

I screamed not knowing what else to do. The stranger I was greeted to was a handsome man with olive skin, green eyes, and wavy blond hair that looked like gold. He didn't look to old, around twenty. Which made me wonder, how old was I?

I however was petrified and grabbed the nearest thing to me with my better arm to fend off my attacker ... Or my saviour? However my weapon of choice was a pillow. Yes, of course, I could try to defend my self from a potentially dangerous man who seemed extremely strong with a pillow. What was I going to do? Tell him to go to sleep so I could sneak away? Unlikely.

I waved the pillow at him even though I knew it could not harm him and tried to look menacing.

"Look, ... Fella! I don't know what your role is here but your not getting away in my watch! Lay a finger on me and I promise you, you will regret it!" The man had a small gleam of amusement in his eyes after that, and I figured I probably looked like a little girl yelling at the boy pulling her hair in class. I didn't care though cause he remained calm even though I was screeching at him like a banshee.

He then spoke.

" Look, I know this may seem strange and unfamiliar but you need to calm down. You have more broken bones than you need and they need to heal properly"

I looked at him blankly. His voice was as smooth and sweet and calming as honey. But how did he know I had broken bones. I looked at my arm and leg and they were put into casts along with my head wrapped in top as far as I could tell.

I also looked at my clothes which were different. Someone changed my clothes. My already flushed face was probably scarlet now. I learned something new, I'm a blusher. I looked at the stranger. If he changed my clothes ...

"Did you change my clothes?" I asked him.

He looked at me with a smirk. "What if I did?"

"I'm taking that as a yes." I grumbled .

The stranger slightly chuckled to himself. "I'm sorry if changing your clothes was invading you privacy, but you were unconscious, freezing, and bleeding all over. I had to fix you up myself since all the phone lines and roads are blocked from the blizzard. You have broken bones, head trauma, and loss of blood." I had to give you an IV with fluids since you were dehydrated . "

I shivered at the last comment. I now know I don't like medical needles.

The stranger then turned very serious and grim. "Say Miss, do you know how you got out in the forest during a blizzard?" He asked.

I blanked and paled. That's right. I lost all my memories, and I don't even know who I am. "No." I replied darkly.

He took out a piece of paper and wrote down something. "What are you writing?" He looked at me while cold the paper and pencil into his pocket. " it seems you have amnesia. You can't remember anything. Which means you either got hit in the head really hard or had a traumatic experience, which seems to be both. "

Yeah like that isn't obvious. He then lit up like a light bulb and pointed at me. I looked adult at his finger. "You were carrying a purse maybe we can go through that to see if it brings back some of those memories." He said the last part tapping his head. So he's an animated person. Huh.

But unfortunately his excitement to see who I was was short lived. I didn't want to bring down his hopes but I was to tired and was processing this all in my head. I looked down in sorrow, trying not to hurt his feelings.

"You don't want to, do you?" I looked up and he was wearing a comforting and understanding smile.

I smiled back saying, "No, maybe when I've healed more. Right now I'm not he the mood"

He looked at me and said, "Don't worry. We can wait." , and then got up. He went to the side of the bed and picked up something from the night stand. "It's a thermometer." He said. He held the thing next to my forehead and waited. His eyes were deep green and enchanting . He looked from the device to my eyes.

He stared at my face, his eyes wandering from one eye to the other, the the rest of my face. His eyes then darkened and and his pupils slightly became larger. They seemed to fill with desire and deep care. When he spoke his voice became husky. "I'm Damian, I will be your doctor and friend. I'm glad I saved you."
