4 Second Vow: Spilling Tea II

Time progressed quickly the same way Catherine did her best to evade Grey. Grey kept mentioning her name to other in hopes if they could've seen her. Some said yes and some answered no. Much to Grey's dismay, Catherine had a knack in hiding.

"I guess I found the right girl after all." Grey doesn't go for the girls who surrendered themselves to him. Adorable Catherine packed him so much trouble.

Unfortunately for Catherine, Grey spotted her going inside the library. Grey silently followed her in. He stealthy approached her until Catherine stopped at the right corner. She is holding a book for advanced trigonometry and calculus. Grey walked up behind her back.

When Catherine turned around, she let out a frightened squeal. "Cheese and crackers Grey! Are you trying to kill me? How did you end up in here anyway?" Catherine placed her hand on her chest, Grey scared the humanity out of her.

"Hmmm... I don't know Cathy, maybe a certain brunette keeps hiding herself from me."

"Oh, you mean Annabelle? She isn't here though."

Grey furrowed his eyebrows then sighed. "I had so much trouble finding you and you had the audacity in joking around?" Grey chuckled. 'Gosh Cathy, what did you do to me?'

"Okay, I admit I was hiding but I don't like unwanted attention, okay? You're like super famous and I'm just the fickle girl who wears oversized clothes."

"Pink looks cute on you but yellow might be cuter. I'll buy you a new one"

"What? You don't have to buy me clothes. Didn't you listen to me?" Catherine looked up to Grey with her sad hazelnut eyes. Catherine had cute sad eyes, that indeed is one of her assets according to Grace.

"Yes, I heard you. But don't worry about them, none of them are important anyway. About to do homework huh?" He pointed at the book she was holding. 'How adorable.'

"Yeah, and I need to review some concepts too."

"I might as well do mine since, Mr. Jacques gave out an assignment about the business presentation."

They sat at the table and did their homework. Catherine's strong point is math so, she didn't need any help. Grey busied himself with the presentation that needs to be proofread. They worked for a good 3 hours. Catherine stood up to return the book then went back to the table to collect her stuff. Grey just finished his presentation and both were ready to head out.

"Cathy, let's go to Graham's. I need something to eat, I'm famished." Graham's Bakeshop is famous for their sweets, pastries and lattes.

"Sorry, I don't have any money so-" Catherine prepared to run away once more but Grey held her hand. "I'm paying."

"I don't feel comfortable of you paying for my food besides I'm not hungry." Out of the blue, Catherine's stomach growled softly.

"Not hungry huh?"

"My answer is still no. I need to go home."

"I heard from one of your friends you love going to Graham's"

"Well yes, is that why we're going?" Grey chuckled. "No Cathy, I've been craving something sweet lately. Someone got conceited huh?"

Catherine flushed beet red. If she ever blushed it wouldn't be just tinted pink cheeks, she'll turn into a tomato. "W-what? N-no! Hmph! Go by yourself." Her stomach growled once more.

"I'll buy all of your favorites Cathy."

A moment of silence before Catherine answered. "What are you waiting for? Let's go." Grey laughed. Then they left the library.
