Chapter 108

　　Xavier.

　　As Jenna disagreed and refused to let Nathan go and risk his life, he faced me with an apologetic look, but I gave a nod that said it was okay. I faced Valerie and placed my hand on her shoulder.

　　“Wait here, I’ll call you if it’s safe, but if you hear me howl, you have to run immediately,” I said and she nodded.

　　I took my hand off her shoulder and faced Roderigo, nodding at him for us to go.

　　I hoped it was just Garr, Jordan, and Lycian. I and Roderigo turned into another corridor and we walked towards the door. I sighed as he opened the door and I looked at the three men standing before the portal.

　　I sighed in relief to see the three men I had been expecting and my men were surrounding them. Jordan waved at me sarcastic smile and I nodded.

　　“Let them pass through,” I said and they all moved aside. The three of them climbed up the stairs and I moved out of the way for them to pass.

　　“Where is Valerie?” Jordan asked as he didn’t see her.
