1 Flame

The hot steamy flames around them engulfed everything living. There were loud screams in every direction, the memories of the tanabachi family disappeared. Then everything was quiet and two small crying voices were heard and income running kuruto jumping and dodging flames.

" YUKI!!!! SHIRO!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!! YU.." yelled Kuruto at the top of his lungs. Just when the flame rose above him he heard...

"momma...momma...momma....im scared momma" cried Yuki as Shiro embraced her.

" Its ok Yuki, I bet mommas waiting outside we have to go now ok" replied Shiro shaking with tears running down his face but trying to be strong for Yuki.

"NOOO!!! I can't leave without momma!!" explained Yuki as she brought herself to her feet while shaking.

As kuruto searches for his little brother and sister frantically he hears their voice and turns his head abruptly. He spots them in a ring of flames and starts screaming, " YUKI!!!SHIRO!!!YUKI!!!" as he screams Shiro turns his head and spots kuruto.

" BIG BROTHER!!! YUKI COME ON ITS BIG..." just as Shiro was gripping Yuki's hand the ceiling collapsed on them, making it virtually impossible for the 5-year-old twins to survive. Kuruto runs towards the fallen ceiling and starts digging for Yuki and Shiro.

The hot steamy flames around him grow larger by the second as dust, wood, and blood from him digging, adds to the flames all around him. When Kuruto finally reaches the fallen twins he notices they are unharmed with not so much as a hair missing from their heads. That's when Kuruto realized that Yuki and Shiro's magical ability awakened and saved there lives. He pulls them from under the debris and lifts up the unconscious twins and walks out the house taking one more good look of their home kuruto whispers to himself, "don't worry I'll take you to a faraway place and protect you so this will never happen again because I'll never let them take you two away no matter what."
