26 The sacrifice...

In Eowyn's dream ,she saw a man .He was really tall with brown skin. His eyes were deep black. He was really handsome with a perfect jawline . He looked like David.

" Cassandra, You are finally here. " " Who are you???" " Don't you know me??? Just know that I am your enemy. Your kingdom will be doomed , so are you???

" WHY????" You have enemity towards me only. Why are you hurting my people?? Let them go".

Do you really think that I am too kind towards you? They are your people. So, they have to pay the price with their life"

"You bastard , let them go. You created rift between me and my Arthur . You made brothers fought for the kingdom. You poisoned everyone. You manipulated Amanda. You are such an evil". She spat out a mouthful blood.

" I agree Cassandra..But , there is one misunderstanding. I didn't manipulate Amanda. She did it for her love; Arthur."

Cassandra was calm. She didn't have the shocked expression. It seemed that she had known the truth for a long time.

Amanda looked at her with disbelief. But it was too late to regret ...." I am sorry Cassandra" She muttered to herself and took her last breath.

" I really admire you Cassandra. You sacrificed your love for her. It really touched the bottom of my heart". He pointed to his heart with full of sarcasm and continued"I will give you one last chance. You can save your people . Just complete the part that had been left by your great grandmother."

" Never . You want to rule the entire world. You want to unleash these demons for your own gain. don't you remember your vow to protect your kind??? How can you use dark magic ??? ".

" It all started by the queen. She broke the law by loving your great grandfather and created an abomination like you. A mixture of human, witch and demon. So, stop arguing dear. Just do as I say ".

" Sorry Arthur . I have to leave you and our people inorder to save the entire realm. I will be back for you and our people. " She connected her mind to Arthur. " He knew it. She was going to sacrifice her soul with the blue sapphire. This is the only way to prevent these chaos. But, he was not ready to lose her"

" I will do as you say. Untie me and let go of my people.". Said Cassandra in a firm tone. " As you say dear princess". He untied her and freed her people. "Did you think that, I will let them go easily. Never..." thought him and smiled evilly.

"Once you do your job perfectly, you can be my demoness after that. Leave this useless man and leave your family ; after all you will get only betrayal from these cunning people of yours. Please come back to me Cassandra".

She looked the man from top to bottom. She couldn't recognise his feelings at that time. She only had one person in her whole life, her Arthur.. She closed her eyes for a while and opened it with full of determination.

She took the blue Sapphire in her hands,which was always a mystery for her. She still didn't know it's power . However, she didn't have time to think about that. The whole world is at stake. The human realm will suffer the most. She won't let that happen. It was worth to sacrifice herself inorder to save millions of life. But....her heart ached seeing the deep melancholy in Arthur's eyes." Sorry my love. I have to do this."

Cassandra started the spell. There was a Blue light radiating from the sapphire. Finally,it turned into a dagger. She smiled to Arthur.Within a blink of eye, she held the dagger and stabbed right inside of her heart.

Both the men shocked. They saw her pale face and the shining daggar. It disappeared after fulfilling its purpose with a horrifying sound. The guards outside heard the noise and rushed to the sacred hall.

They didn't even know what happened inside. There was a pool of blood and and the faint smile of a lamb , who sacrificed herself.....

She closed her eyes gradually.....

"My queen...... They screamed.....
