2 Forever Level One / Chapter 2: Bait

Complaints gushed towards a boy in tattered clothes.

The party leader, Cicuta, deplored.

The boy begged.

Cicuta smirked.

The members chuckled.

The adventurers lead the boy into a lush Sequoia forest.

The giant trees covered the clear sky with leaves resulting in the forest being pitch black.

" We are going to hunt Russet Pumas, now go do your job. "

Russet Pumas are extremely stealthy, strong, and have excellent night vision, but they lacked the intelligence to target the healer which results in it attacking whatever was closest to it. Drawing a puma out without proper equipment or training would result in certain death.

The child exhaled; he knew what was going to happen.

Rustling leaves spread from tree to tree. A giant feline pounced on the youngster.

" Detect "

The homeless dodged the ambush skillfully.

" What is your party doing? Go attack it! "

The party leader smirked.

" If you die, the more loot we can have for ourselves. "

The members burst out laughing.
