9 Teach me

Xaddrin tested the cure and it worked. He found that he could leave the place as he was no longer affected by the spell of the witch.

Together with Adran and Zhakhil they made there way to leave the island. Destination being his home island he was very excited to leave. He had missed his family and wanted nothing more than to meet his mother again.

The island that they were headed to was unknown to most people. Dragons liked to keep to themselves and humans had the habit of ruining things in their wake. Hence it was for the better that they didn't know about Athelia.

"Hey," Zhakhil called out to get the attention of the knight. He still had not finished the lesson from the other day about how he should profess his love for the dragon.

He needed to learn in order to find the courage to tell the dragon how he felt. Before someone else did that before him and stole his dragon from him.

"Yes," Adran responded. Both carried their luggage and tracked behind Xaddrin who happily led the way.

"I need you to help me," he hesitated. He didn't want to attract the dragon's attention and have him look back at them. He was also worried that the dragon might misunderstand if he turns around and catches him whispering to the knight.

"You didn't finish showing me how to express love to someone the other day," he whispered nervously. "Can you just tell me what needs to be done?"

Xaddrin frowned hearing the prince speak. Though he was doing his best to whisper the dragon still heard him clearly. He felt a pang in his heart that the prince went to the knight to ask him when he was around.

He disliked the idea of the prince depending on anyone but him. The prince had known him for most of his life and had only just met the knight so it didn't make sense why he would ask the knight and not him.

In all his years alive he could say that he had gotten way more experience with love than the knight.

"If you want to sho~"

"We should take a break here," Xaddrin said interrupting Adran. If anyone was going to teach his innocent human prince anything, it had to be him and him alone.

"But we haven't walked for too long and we aren't tired yet," Adran noted. Zhakhil nodded in support of what the knight said, it was easier to get the knight to teach him on matters of the heart while they moved so he didn't want to stop.

Xaddrin gritted his teeth and proceeded to walk on. It was becoming annoying having the night around. Right now the prince still cared for him and was in love with him. But with the night around, he was more than confident that the prince's interest would change.

He tuned out the two, he didn't want to hear what the knight had to teach to the prince. It was of no importance to him.

He tried to pretend like it didn't affect him the whisper passing between the two behind him but it didn't. He could as easily ease drop on their conversation and find out what the male had to say to the prince but he didn't.

His blood boiled when he thought back to the moment when he found the prince in the knight's hands. Only he had the right to touch the prince so closely and intimately, as the prince was his.

Zhakhil paid close attention to everything that Adran had to say to him. He took note of the things that he needed to do and how he needed to do. The thought of being able to attract his dragon's eyes to himself was too exciting.

He bit his lower lip seductively as he imagined going those things that Adran was telling to him with Xaddrin. The only worry he had was whether or not the dragon would respond to his advances.

If he would be offended by his affections and love. If he will think it childish that he liked him or if it was wrong for him to like a man as himself.

Alot of things crossed through his mind. He was scared of what might happened if he got bold enough and confessed his love.

"Relax, you should think too much," Adran said.

He noticed that the prince was getting worried, he was probably thinking about the make stroding ahead. It was strange how in such little time, he has grown close to the boy and felt comfortable with the two of them.

He has not had the time to both with the dragon but he was getting there. He wanted to tell Zhakhil not to worry because the dragon probably felt the same way for him. The way that he had reacted when he caught them together the other time showed that he was jealous.

And it was the same reaction he had earlier when he suggested the break. They weren't tired and he only wanted to stop because there whispers were making him uncomfortable.

He refused his offer to help the prince whom he thought was the servant. The more frustrated the dragon was, the more that he might get tempted to talk to Zhakhil about his feelings. From their the two would see how to go about things.

"What is it like to kiss someone?" Zhakhil questioned.

The question caused Xaddrin to stop in his tracks. He wondered why the prince was suddenly interested in such things. The innocent boy that he had watched grow up had never once asked him about such things. It worried him what the prince was up to.

'Does he plan to get close to someone?' he thought.

"The feeling is different for everyone. You just have to kiss someone and find out for yourself," Adran replied. He had noticed that dragon stopping, he didn't know why but he had a feeling that the male could hear them. Like he had super hearing or something.

"Why not experiment and find out," Adran suggested to confirm his suspicions. He saw Xaddrin fold his hands into a fist in the distance and knew that he was right.

With the distance between them, Xaddrin could hear them perfectly. Which led him to wonder exactly how the male could do that.
