18 I will steal my father's crown for you

Celestia's POV:

The early morning sun rays were slowly eradicating the darkness in the forest. The crystal white doves and Ruby hummingbirds were flying in the sky while singing their songs. 

This is the best moment of my life. Being in his arms is a blessing to me. I never want to leave his side. I just want to be dissolved in his sea-green eyes forever. I want to be with him for all my eternity! 

"My love, the sun is about to rise over the hills. You should go back to the castle now."

I got tensed. " No, I never want to leave your side. I want to be with you forever. Please take me with you."

Theo hesitated. Why is he asking me to go back to the castle? It is torture to live in there if he is not around. 

"My Sweetness, if we both want to be together, you need to do something for me."

"What is it, Theo? What do you need? I am ready to do anything for you."

Theo smiled. Every time he smiles, my heart just flutters. 

"I want to be the King of the Celestial realm. If you help me with that, we can be together forever."

I gaped in horror. What is he saying? Should I crown him as the King? I shook my head abruptly. 

"No, I am not going to wage war against my father. He is the one true King of this realm. The throne doesn't belong to you. And I can't give you something that doesn't belong to you."

Theo's expression got severe. He wasn't happy with my statement. 

"Celestia, the throne belongs to me. I am more powerful than the lame King Oberon. And the ancient manuscripts say that only a powerful King can protect his throne. You know about my powers and capabilities. Don't you think that I deserve the throne more?"

Theo was not wrong. He is ten times more powerful than Father Oberon. But still, people won't accept a new ruler. They all worship Father Oberon like a deity. How can I explain this fact to him?

"Celestia, you don't have to worry about the people. They are going to accept me as their King just like you accepted me as your lover," he justified. 

That is possible! Once everyone comes to know about the things he can do, then Theo will become the new deity for the Celestial realm. But still, my father won't agree to this. He will probably throw me in the dungeon if he knows that I am conspiring against him. 

Theo placed his hand on my chin. " Celestia, my love. If I become the king, then I will be the one making the rules for everyone in the realm. No one will be able to stand in our way. We both will be together for eternity. You have to help me, at least for the sake of us."

"Is that why you want to become the King?" I asked him doubtfully. 

"Yes, my love. That is one of the major reasons. Just imagine Celestia, how good and strong this kingdom will become when I am the King, and you are the Queen."

I shuddered at his statement. I never imagined myself as a Queen. I am a warrior and protector of this kingdom. 

"Celestia, how can you protect your realm if you are not the Queen?"

"But I am a Fathomless warrior."

My reply made him chuckle. " That is the reason why you are not winning the war against the Shadow realm. Because you are meant to be the Queen. Think about it, my love. Lilin is the princess, and Lilith is the Queen of the Shadow realm. If you are just a warrior, then how can you defeat them?"

His points were logical. Maybe that's why I am not able to win the war! But why didn't my father say anything about it? He told me that being a strong warrior is the only thing I require to eradicate the dark forces. 

I looked down at the green grass. It is morning now. I should make a decision quickly. Do I really need to be a Queen? But that is not what I desire. My wish is to eradicate the dark forces and be with Theo for the rest of my eternity. 

"Okay," I finally said. " You are my desire, so I am obligated to follow the path you show." 

His face filled with light again. " I know you will come around, Celestia."

He bent down and smacked his lips on mine. My heart skips a beat whenever he kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. 

After a while, our lips parted, and he encircled his arms around me. I rested my head on his strong muscular shoulders. " My Sweetness, don't think I am leaving you. I will always be with you. If you want to see me, all you have to do is call out my name."

I was intrigued. "Really? You will appear in front of me if I just call out your name?"

"Yes, my love. But remember one thing, I won't be able to appear inside the castle. If I do that, your father might feel my presence."

"Fine, if I want to see you, I will come to this forest." 

Theo gently patted my head. "Okay, my sweetness. Now I am going to give you a task you must accomplish."

I immediately pulled away from him. " What? You are giving me a task?"

"Yes, my love. You have to steal Oberon's Ivory crown for me. That is your first task."

Is he actually asking me to steal something? But stealing is a sin! It is something the Shadow creatures would do. 

"No, my love. You are stealing for us, and it is for the greater good. If you do something for the greater good, then it is never a sin." 

Again his justification seemed to be reasonable. "But isn't there any other way to do this? I am not comfortable with stealing."

Theo shook his head. " Celestia, this is the only way we have."

" Fine! I will do it. I will steal my father's crown for you."
