10 Drained Of Energy

Celestia's POV:

It is morning now. But I didn't feel like going back to the cliff. How can I possibly face anyone when I have sinned? So I came to the forest of light. No one can find me here. I kept wandering deep into the woods.

My body was completely drained of energy. I have never felt this way before. I felt like someone drained all the energy that I had inside me. And the worst part is that my mind was constantly thinking about Silver Shadow.

What if he comes into my visions again? I shuddered every time I thought about him. He ripped off my clothes, and he was about to do something to me with his hands. And I still don't understand what he meant by chiseling.

I should stop thinking about him now. I have promised my father that I will never think about him. And I should keep the promise. I sat down under the oak tree, feeling completely exhausted.

Suddenly, I could sense a force of darkness approaching me. I immediately got up to my feet and took out my sword. This is strange! No dark creatures can enter this forest.

Then out of nowhere, a young girl appeared. She had dark hair, and her eyes were the color of blood. She looked beautiful and intimidating at the same time. She must be Princess Lilin. She is the daughter of the Demon Queen Lilith.

"I never thought that I would get an opportunity like this," the Demon princess hissed. "My mother will be proud of me for eradicating the Dawn."

I thought that she would be charging me with her spear, but instead, she closed her eyes and started chanting something in the Enochian language. It is a language of Demons, and I wasn't able to comprehend a word she was saying.

After a while, a couple of Banshees appeared. The deadly creatures were wearing a ragged grey dress, and their pale hair was bushy that made them intimidating. The creatures started circling around me.

I tried to attack them, but I was unable to do it as a shrill noise got out of the pale throats of banshees. I immediately knelt down on the ground and covered my ears. Why am I so weak? I used to slay these monsters effortlessly in the past.

"Are you really the Dawn?" Lilin laughed out. " You seem to have fewer powers than a lame witch."

I wasn't able to stand up and fight back even when Lilin mocked me. The cries of the banshee were giving me random visions. In everything, I was with Silver Shadow. In one vision, I was on a beautiful island with him. In the other, Silver Shadow and I were fighting with Darius.

Is this going to be my future? Am I going to be seduced by the dark side?

"The Dawn is in trouble. Come, on girls. We have to save her," shouted a woman's voice. Who is she?

I didn't know what that woman did, but she made the banshees vanish. My head was free from hallucinations after the banshees disappeared.

I finally opened my eyes. Two girls were battling with Lilin. They are definitely not Fae. Their powers were a little feeble. They could be a Mage or Witch. But still, they both were fighting fiercely.

I was impressed by the young bronze-skinned girl. She was just using a tiny dagger, but she managed to stab Lilin's arm with it.

Lilin was chanting in Enochian again. Maybe she is summoning more banshees. I got up from the ground and tried hard to regain my strength.

But Lilin already yielded even before I could strike her again. She spread out her dark wings, and she flew away from the forest.

That was a close one! I have never been in a situation like this. I felt so humiliated by myself. How can I lose my control like this?

One of the girls came to me and touched my hand. I was a bit relaxed by her embrace. She must be a white witch. They are better healers than everyone else in the realm.

"Oh, dear! It would be best if you stopped blaming yourself. It is not your fault. Temptations are not real feelings," she said.

I immediately took a step away from her. " Who are you? And you can read my mind?"

"My name is Daviana, and I am a white witch," she replied.

The young girl with bronze skin stepped forward. " I am Ember, and my dream is to become a great warrior like you."

I wanted to laugh out loud. Why does she have to become like me? They just now saw me weeping on the ground while the banshees overpowered me. Does she still think that I am great?

" You don't have to become like me," I said out to her. " You can be much better than me. And I see you have the potential."

Ember bowed a little. " Thank you so much for the compliment."

" No, please. You don't have to bow down to me like this," I said out immediately. " I would be honored if you consider me as your friend."

Ember hesitated. " You want me to be your friend?"

I nodded. " Please call me Celestia from now on."

She came closer to me and wrapped her arms around me. I patted her back gently.

" Celestia, there is something that you need to know," Daviana stated.

I pulled apart from Ember and faced her.

" Your mental shield was fragile. That's why you weren't able to face off the banshees," she said.

" But why is my mental shield weak?"

Daviana smiled a little. " You are trying hard to repress your feelings. That's why your shield is weak. I read your thoughts, and I can understand that you are feeling these temptations. But you can't resist it forever."

"So what are you saying? Should I have to go to the dark side?"

Daviana shook her head. " No, Celestia. You just have to face your monster and overpower it."

I understood what she was saying. I should cross the sea and destroy my monster. If I have to be free from the temptations, then I should kill the Tempter.
