3 Hel... I mean school

Again out of the corner of her eye. A shadowed figure standing on the side walk looking at her when she turned her head to look at it, it disappeared. What was the meaning of it? What was it? Why was it? Deciding to ingnore it she got off the bus and walked the cafeteria with her friends.She looked at all the students pouring into the school entrance. Like zombies headed towards their next meal or a angry ant nest. Her and her friends sat and chatted waiting for the bell at their usual place towards the back of the cafeteria right next to the floor length windows. Cora started talking about a new student "Did you know that the new student is supposed to come in today?! Apparently he's supposed to be really hot and come from a well known family of doctors. And did I mention he's supposed to be hot." she rattled on. Aja and Keith rolled there eyes when a new person came in and they were supposed to be a guy, you could always count on Cora to find out as much information as she could on them especially if they were supposed to be as she put it "hot". Aja ignored Cora as she rambled on about the new guy only catching snippets of the conversation while she looked out the window. Just then she saw a car drive into the parking lot by the back entrance near the cafeteria. A boy stepped out of the driver side accompanied by three other guys and two girls. Aja couldn't get a good look at the new people but she figured that she wpuld see them in one pf her classes at some time. She looked at Cora laughing. "Hey, Cora you might want to get your facts straight there's four new guys and two girls coming today" she said cutting Cora off. Cora stopped and looked at her confused. "But how do you know that?" Aja simply pointed out the window. Cora and Keith followed her finger stared at the new comers. Cora actually gasped at them. Keith was the one who just stared and then he laughed because Cora was usually never wrong about the new people that came. They watched as the new students walked in and went to the front office. And with that the bell rang. They all walked to their home rooms.  Mr. Gomez was asleep in his chair just like usual. Most students would sit in their desks playing on their phones while others usually would be scrambling to get their homework done for one of their classes but since spring break was three weeks away, all the students had their phones out and were checking stuff or playing video games. She usaully just read a book she found in the library. She heard the classroom door open and saw that two of the new students was in her class a guy and a girl. Aja saw that guy and girl were fairly good looking they both had ebony hair the guy had maroon highlights in his hair while the girl had indigo ombre in her hair. The guy had Stormy grey blue eyes while the girls had dark voilet eyes. The girl was wear a pair of skinny jeans a maroon leather jacket and black top and black heeled boots. She also had a gorgeous stormy grey jem necklace with a gold chain. The guy was wearing dark blue jeans a gray top and a black jacket over the top rolled up at the sleeves and black boot kinda like the girls shoes. He also had a dark voilet gem necklace and wrist bands. Aja had to admit that the were pretty dressed really good. The guy had just woken Mr. Gomez and gotten his and the girls seating arrangements. Which were conveniently next to Aja, Keith, and Cora. As soon as they took there seats Cora started to talk to them. They learned that there names were Lavinia and Cassian. Aja turned back to her book as Cora and Keith were talking to Lavinia and Cassian. Cora doing most of the talking. As Aja read her book she saw the shadow out of the corner of her eye and turned to look at it, if only just to glimpse it to catch the shape of it, but just missed it. She sighed turning back to her book. She was probably just really tired and was seeing things. But what if the shadow was connected to her dreams. She let out another sigh and heard her name being called by Keith. She looked up to see that Keith was staring intently at her. Aja gave him a confused look. Keith sighed and asked again "Me and Cora are gonna show Lavinia and Cassian and there siblings around town after school. Do you want to come?" Aja thought for a while before responding "Sure why not." she said as she turned back to her book as Cora started talking to the new students. She felt Keith staring at her so she looked up at him. He mouth at her "Are you OK?" she mouth back that she was and that she'd tell him later what was on her mind. He nodded and went to back to the conversation and she went back to her book trying to get her mind off the shadow and her wierd freaky dreams.
