1 Prologue

"Aunty, please!" Nadia begged as her aunt threw her out the door and unto the ground.

Her aunt furiously threw her luggage out, one by one. "I am sick and tired of you living in my house, all you do is eat and sleep then eat."

"Aunty please!" Nadia ran to her aunt and held her arm instead her aunt pushed her away.

"Stay away from my house, go somewhere else or better still, just die and go meet your parent. You will be doing the world some good," her aunt spat before shutting the door.

Nadia ran to the door, banging furiously for her aunt to let her in. She begged like never before but no one answered. She finally gave up and went to sit beside her luggage on the lawn.

She let out a yelp when the sprinklers started splashing water on her, she quickly left the lawn leaving her luggage behind.

Nadia walked on the street, the night was chilly and she rubbed her arms to keep herself warm. She was about passing through an alley when she noticed some boys leaning on the wall, laughing and drinking beers. She turned around to avoid them but she was too late.

"Hey, pretty girl!" one of them called but she ignored him, walking away from them.

Nadia heart started beating wildly when she heard their footsteps behind her. She immediately took off running and they followed suit. She hasn't gone far when they grabbed her by her hair and pulled her back.

They covered her mouth with their hand to muffle her screams as they dragged her away. Nadia felt her back hit a cold wall and a hand wrapped around her throat restricting her airways.

"You think you're so smart. we're going to have fun with you," he snarled.

Her shirt was ripped off and a hand started roaming around her body. She could hear the other boys laughter as she struggled to get free.

Suddenly the guy was roughly ripped away from her and Nadia started coughing,taking in huge amount of air.

The guy started to scream and she looked down to see that huge vines had erupted from the now cracked ground and wrapped themselves around the guy, pulling him into the ground.

The guy screamed for his now frozen friends to help him as he struggled fruitlessly to escape the vines clutches. The guy was now pulled into the ground and it closed up after him, crushing in the process.

His friends stared at her before they took off yelling 'witch'. When they were gone,Nadia started to feel dizzy. She started staggering back and forth until everything went black.
