Chapter 1: "1st Hour"

Take care of the animals, not all of them are nice.

"The Forest of 72 Hours..." I whispered not realizing that I cut him off.

All heads snapped at me as Phoenix slowly sink to the shadows leaving an echoing (and annoying) cases of hehe's and evil laughs,

"You know this...? It's must be a joke... right?" Raven said as she laugh jokingly and worriedly. I shook my head as she backed away, "No. It can't be... no... I still have problems... back there... I—" She burst into tears, running away as Phoebe tried catching up with her, as she gave me death glares I cannot explain why.

"Lenne, bro. You gotta explain." The lactose intolerant, Brian Daw, said as he leaned closer, "We don't wanna scare the ladies... do we...?" I gave him a glare and called the boys.

"Guys, we got stuffs to do." I said making my voice clear. "We need to make camp as we are in our first hour. Or first night, whatever." I took out my phone as I want to see what is the time and date, but instead, I got a timer running with 17:00 in it. I closed it and looked up to the guys again, "It's 5 o'clock, we have to gather up stuff so we could survive." I pointed at my own phone, "If you have phones, it is timed in 24 hours, so after 12 noon, it will be 13:00 or 1:00 pm. It will also have the timer of how many hours left we have." I finished watching to the guys directly.

They took out their phones while Jason Jackson asked, "So how are we going to charge this? As if we have electric plug in here." Brian agreed. "Phoenix said it won't run out. Don't worry." I said with I guess, no worry. "Again, we have to make camp so,..."

We finally agreed that Jason and I find supplies while Brian looks out for food with Kira Ray, the shy girl.

Phoebe and Raven will guard our remaining supplies they got and our found supplies since luckily, they were supposed to be camping in the woods, and that they we're the ones that are bringing camp tools and food that are enough for a day since we are six people.

At 17:20 since time since to pass so slow and maybe because we have fast workers.

We got three tents set up, one for the boys, one for the ladies and one for all of us where we will eat and where we will guard our stuff.

We also found a lake and a spring near our camp so we made the spring for bath and the lake for drinking and cleaning.

There are lots of bushes, fallen leaves and trees around so we also decided that we will have to make a comfort room for the two genders and that we have to make it far from our camp for private reasons.

We, also again decided that we will eat brunch and dinner tomorrow so that the remaining food will be for emergencies only.

This hour, we are already finished our baths already and that we also made signs so that we know if it is our time or the ladies' time.

So now, it is time for the story.

"Okay, huddle up in your chairs people." Phoebe shouted in a boyish way. She received a glare from me a while back so now she is minding her ways. And words.

We sat in our respective seats we made from dried leaves some adhesive tape.

"So who. Wait, no. What is happening now?" Raven said, calmly, "What is this Forest of 72 hours is?" Phoebe and Brian and Jason asked at the same time, "Why are we here?" Kira asked slowly and, "What are we doing here?" They all asked the same time.

"Guys... Jeez! Calm down would ya? Let him explain" Clearly annoyed, as if he didn't asked a question. They all obeyed as I shot him a quick thank you.

"So. Now that we are all settled, let me start the story."

(Just imagine this as a voice over, like there will be pictures and stuff since this is him like reading the book. And btw, they will finish at the next chapter.)

The Forest of 72 hours is a forest owned by Phoenix Areño who is now greatly know as 'The Phoenix'.

He was blessed of being immortal after he died in an accident lightning shot by god. But there was one wish he want.

The wish of keeping his forest.

The god agreed but there is one flaw, the flaw that only he would know that no one knew and no one will ever know according to god.

Raven started shuffling a bit and looked at me as if saying, continue.

He started as the legendary Phoenix who can take any form of anything.

But then he and his forest got forgotten...

People polluted his forest and started to cut down trees for their own.

He got so angry at the people that he made them survive in the forest.

It started out all fun but as soon as it passed it became darker, bloodier.

People who survive were suppose to go back home.

But they never did.

They got mysterious powers that no one knew where it came from.

Detectives around the world tried to unfold it.

But he had enough.

He wished all could just disappear.

And so it did.

The forest started vanishing, making it into its own little world.

Mythical plants and creatures started growing,

People who was there before become forgotten,

The forest itself vanishing into peoples mind.

Phoenix want to end this monstrosity, but it never really ends.

The void to the forest opens up randomly, swallowing the people and vomiting it to this forest making them survive here which feels like an eternity.

After 73 hours the void opens up, but the people never really came back.
