1 Prologue

This World is the same as Earth, but there is only one continent, and its name is Ethal.

Long ago, a group was studying black magic, but an accident happened and a portal to the demon world was established. Demons started coming out from the portals and started attacking humans, forcing them to establish contracts. A contract is a pact formed between the souls of the contractee human and contractor demon. It binds both of their souls, and the master and servant is decided by who is more powerful. Mostly, humans are the servants.

As demons started coming from portals, humans lost their lands. Later, Portals from different world also started appearing. Species such as Elves and Dwarves also started coming out of the portals and started taking the lands. Humans were unable to do anything against all three species, who had more power than them. But something changed in the environment while all three species started showing up, Mana also started gathering in the environment which allowed humans to grow strong and use magical arts and develop martial arts. With this new change in environment, humans grew strong and made peace treaty with Elves and Dwarves and gave them 1/5th part of the continent to each.

Now, the Ethal (continent) is divided into 1/5th Elven domain, 1/5th Dwarven domain, 2/5 demonic domain and 2/5 human domain. Elves are said to be loved by mana as their affinity with mana is higher than other beings, they specialize in magical arts. Dwarves are specialist in the field of machinery and blacksmithery. Demons use demonic energy which is one of the forms of the dark energy which is nothing but pure form of negative emotions and demonic energy is the purest form of dark energy.

In the human domain, there is central government and Union. Central government maintains order of power in the human domain, while Union is the group made since the treaty between elves and dwarves. Union is the group made to maintain peace in the human domain. It consists of 'Eradicators'. Eradicators are basically heroes who partake in killing demons and contractee/villain and clearing dungeons. Eradicators are also known as heroes. Contractee/Villain are humans who have made a contract with the demons to seek power. Villains have made their own organization known as 'Nemesis' or 'Anti-Union'.

In the human domain, humans formed groups to clear dungeons and for other tasks, which are known as Guilds. Guilds are divided into six ranks: Rank-less, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Guilds are basically groups formed to provide security and financial support to the public. Most of the finance and jobs is covered by guilds.

Dungeons are the remnants parts of the portals which connected to other world, but they got separated and made their own dimensional space. Now, they just contain the magical beasts from other sides of the world, who neither can go to their own world nor can enter earth unless dungeon break happens. Dungeons are divided into ranks, such as; F, E, D, C, B, A and S rank. With each rank, the danger in clearing also increases.

Human domain has 5 main cities on all its sides. The Cities are as follows:

Oseport: It covers the Eastern part of the human domain and it boundaries with sea on its eastern part.

Drestin: It covers the Northern part of the human domain and it boundaries with the dwarven domain in the north.

Berton: It covers the Western part of the human domain and it boundaries with both Demonic and Elven domain. On its nort.h-western, it boundaries with demonic domain and on the west and south-western part, it boundaries with elven domain. While demonic covers very less part with the city, because elven and dwarven domain are both very close to human domain.

Vloria: It covers the Southern part of the human domain and it boundaries with elven domain and sea.

Vego: It is present at the center of the human domain. It contains all the main headquarters for Union and Central Government.

As the mana arts/magical arts and martial arts started developing, humans also started growing stronger. With new material showing up due to changes in the environment and dungeons, technology also started developing. Now, both technology and transportation developed at rapid rate.

Mana Arts and Martial Arts are also divided into ranks. Mana arts are divided into 7 ranks from 1-star to 7-star, while Martial Arts are divided into 5 ranks from 1-star to 5-star. Martial arts are mostly superior to Mana Arts, but 6 and 7-star mana arts are superior to martial arts only until their essence are the same. For example; A person practicing 7-star mana art of ice essence can't win against a person practicing 5-star martial art of lightning essence, both will end up in a draw.

While practicing these Arts, their mastery level is also needed. Each and every art has their different level of mastery levels, some have 3 levels while some have 9 levels and each level tells their own different level of mastery.

Now onto artifacts and skills, they are found in the dungeons, and they also have Ranks. And their ranks are divided from E-Rank to SSS-Rank.
