FOREIGN MAN (ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

The middle-aged man with the white beard called out to his daughter, who had just come home from work! "Sera, come here son! I want to talk," said the girl's father.

"Okay Dad!" Sera answered, while taking off the shoes she was wearing, then putting them on the shoe rack.

Sera, who was still wearing a black suit and pants of the same color, approached her father and sat on a chair in the living room. Sera always respects her father because she was raised well in a very warm family.

"Father wants to talk to you about something, do you have time?" his father asked softly.

Sora nodded slowly.

"I see that you are mature enough to talk to and make decisions, for that I don't want to talk to your sister! And I want to say it right away," continued his father.

"What's the matter, dad?" Sera asked.

"Father wants to introduce you to the son of the Lurah, his name is Good! He has just returned from studying abroad, the Lurah asked the father to introduce him to you."

Sera's face suddenly changed! He knew very well where his father was talking.

"Father, if it's only for friendship, Sera can do it, but if you intend to do more between Sera and the Lurah's son, I'm sorry Father! Sera can't," answered Sera politely.

"Why son, don't you like him? You've never met him, have you?"

"It's not like that Father, Sera has someone that Sera likes."

Mr. Jenay, that's what people around him call him! He saw the look on her daughter's face looking down, a sign that she refused, this was the first time her youngest daughter had behaved like that.

"Sera? I know Son, you are not good about this! I hope Sera is honest with you, who is the man who stole your daughter's heart?" asked Mr. Jenay.

Sera lifted her head, a look of shame appeared on her face. "He... he's far from here father, living overseas!" Obviously Sara.

Sera shook her head slowly, "I haven't met him, Dad," Sera answered slowly.

Mr. Jenay didn't say anything more, he got up from his seat and went to his room, Sera could see the despair on his father's face.

Sera reached into the cellphone in her bag as soon as she arrived at her bedroom, she looked for a contact named Sahin, the man she had been dating for a year only through social media.

"Sahin, do you have time I want to talk!" Sera sent a direct text message to her lover.

It didn't take long for Sahin to reply, "Sure, but only for a moment! I almost finished my break," Sahin replied.

The time comparison between Indonesia and Istanbul is about 4 hours or so, that's why Sera often has to organize her time, even when night falls, Sahin will call at around 8 after returning from work, while Sera has to hold back sleep because in Indonesia it is 00.00 they can call if it's 1 hour, Sera never complains or asks Sahin to understand the time! Because the Indonesian clock is earlier than there.

"Looks like later this year I will visit you to Istanbul!" The message sped up quickly and was read by Sahin.

"Really? You're serious."

"Yeah, I'll visit you! I've saved enough money to go there, didn't you promise to come to Indonesia too?" Sera asked.

"That's right, I will go to Indonesia if I have enough money too," replied Sahin.

Their conversation ended because Sahin had to go back to work.

Sera's work is also divided into two shifts, if she comes in the morning she will come home at around 5 and if the afternoon shift she will go home at 11 at night, sometimes even though she is tired she will force herself to take Sahin's calls.

7 months have passed, Sera has managed to collect money to go to her lover's country, she has made passports, visas, and even exchanged money to be used there. Sera wanted to surprise Sahin so she pushed her departure a week earlier.

This is Sera's first time going abroad, for a year she kept digging for information about living in the country, how to talk and dress.

Sera said goodbye to her father, even though it was hard to let go of his youngest daughter, the father still let the girl go! Mr. Jenay really believes in his youngest child.

Sera kissed Mr. Jenay's hand and the middle-aged man kissed his son's cheek. The wave of the hand from the beautiful girl was returned by her father.

At the airport, Sera contacted Sahin, Sera sent a message to her lover, discussing their first meeting who wanted to be romantic like the people who uploaded it on social media.

The flight from Indonesia to Istanbul took half a full day, 12 hours already Sera finally arrived on a land that was not in her country. Then Sera adjusted her watch to the Istanbul clock which was 4 hours slower.

Jetlag caught his eye, in Indonesia it is around 2 am and in Istanbul it is still 10 pm.

The hotel that Sera had booked was not far from the airport, only by taking a taxi once she had arrived there. A hotel with an eye-catching design, for the first time Sera will sleep in a room that is not her home.

The hotel staff there are proficient in English, so Sera didn't have too much trouble asking questions, since Istanbul people mostly use Turkish for their daily lives, and they really appreciate the language.

The mattress is large, three times bigger than his house. The girl immediately fell asleep, the soreness on her back made her eyes very heavy! Until he falls asleep and wakes up at 4 am, in Indonesia it is already 8 o'clock.

Sera called her friend, saying she had arrived in Istanbul. Dan said he would be happy with his leave which he had not taken for a year.

Sera came out of the room because her stomach rumbled, she rubbed her eyes while walking, not realizing Sera bumped into something in front of her.

"Sorry, I did not mean it!" Sera panicked, because of her mistake.

"No problem, do you need help?" asked a man in a white shirt with broad chest greeted Sera.

"I'm hungry! But don't know where to go, I'm in trouble now!" Obviously Sara.

"Are you from Indonesia?" he asked.

Sera nodded. "There is a fried rice menu here, you can ask for it to eat."

"Is that true?" Sera smiled beautifully making her face perfectly beautiful even without makeup.

"I'm Keenan, you can just call me by name! Nice to meet you," the man held out his hand.

"I'm Sera, thanks for the help," Sera greeted the man, then left.

Keenan stood up and smiled as he watched the girl prance away from him.

"Pak Keenan, is there anything I can help you with?" asked one of the staff, seeing Keenan out at night.

"No, you help the girl! She wants to eat fried rice," said Keenan.

The staff immediately left when his boss told him to.

Keenan is a hotel owner who does live there, he really loves this business, because of his father's wish. He has a habit of traveling around, making sure everyone staying at his hotel is comfortable.

Sera ate the food at 4.30 am, "Ah, it's so delicious! What dream did I eat at this hour," Sera whispered after devouring her food.

He returned to his room and prepared clothes to visit Sahin at work, he planned to surprise his lover.
