5 Chapter 5

Class was boring. We took notes and did paper work and then got homework. After class ended, I put all my stuff into my bag and walked to lunch. There's a special spot under a tree where I like to have my lunch because I love being outside. I made my way to the tree, sat down, grabbed my lunch out of my bag, and took my book out. I my lunch included lobster gimbag, braised lotus root, fried tofu stuffed with rice, and seaweed. I grabbed my book and start to read for a few min then Manek came up to me. "Hey can I sit here", he asked me. I shaked my head but he sat down right next to me in the shade. He looked in his bag and he forgot his lunch. "Crap!", he exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" I asked alarmed.

"I forgot my lunch," he said.

"You can share my lunch if you want. I made too much anyway so there's enough for the two of us to share." I said. He grabbed a braised lotus root and with the chop sticks he ate it. He looked like it didn't taste good but then he kinda gave me a little smile. "This is amazing. Did you make this?" he asked. He grabbed another. "Yes I made these." I replied. "You are an amazing cook." he said. "Thanks, I love to cook. My mom taught me when I was little," I said. "Cool," he said. We had an amazing conversation. He is so funny and I am glad I got to know him. After lunch he walked with me to class. "Thank you for walking with me to class," I said. "Your welcome. I had an amazing lunch. Can I sit with you more often?" he said. I shake my head. "Are we friends," he asked. "Yes," I said. He kissed my cheek. I was so surprised. I stayed still, blushing while he ran to his class. The bell rang. I walk in class and sat down in my seat. The teacher walked in class. "Hello class. Today we are doing notes and then a worksheet," the teacher said. Class was boring. (After class) I walked to the front of the school so I could walk with my BFF. I was waiting for her and I saw the guy I was going to marry. He was waiting for a car to pick him up. I looked away so he wouldn't see me. He looked at me and started to walk over to me. I panicked. I grabbed my phone and put it to my ear to look like I am on the phone when I am not. (He make it over to me) He looked at me and grabbed my phone. I tried to grab my phone back but I tripes on his shoes he didn't even try to catch me. I fell on my butt and everyone was laughing. I turned my head away, embarrassed. Manek helped me up and asked me what happened. I was trying to grab my phone from this boy and he wouldn't give my phone back. When I tried to get my phone back I tripped on his shoes he didn't even help me. (the guy that took my phone gave my phone back) Why are you in the front of the school," he asked. "I was waiting for my friend. We walk together every day and I don't even know where she is. "I will walk you home if you want," he said. "Ok, what way is your house." I said. He pointed the same way I walk every day. "Ok," I said and we started to walk home, We started having a conversation. We made it to our house and we figured out we would live right next to each other. (I never new that my old neighbor sold their house) We walked into my house and I took off my shoes. I said hello to my parents, went upstairs, and walked to my room. I closed the door to my room and put down my bag. I grabbed a book out my bag and started to read. (2 hours later) My mom knocked on the door and told me it was dinner time. I walked down the stairs to go to the dining table. I sat down and ate my food. I finished eating, grabbed my dish, and went to the kitchen to wash my plate. I put my plate in the sink, went upstairs, and walked to my room. I grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower. (after shower) I walked to my bed and started to read my book again. (1 hour later) I fell asleep.
