14 Enemy or friend?

XiaYi looked reluctant to introduce this girl, so one of his friends took the task. "MingLi this is Lin Dai", said LiZhen. "Pleasure, to meet you MingLi said warmly".Lin Dai looked MingLi up and down and have a disdainful 'Hmph'. MingLi pretended to not have noticed and left walking with XiaYi trailing behind her. She was looking for JiaXi and ShenGu, she spotted them and walked over. "Ni-san[1] Jia, XiaoShen, shall we go out for drinks after the gala?" MingLi asked innocently. ShenGu agreed instantly leaving JiaXi no choice. "This time let's go to Night Owl". MingLi smiled widely, "I agree, thats definitely the best club I've ever been to". ShenGu scoffed. "I don't care where we go, we just need music and alcohol". XiaYi was standing next to MingLi didn't like this idea at all, he had planned a after the gala but she didn't know that. XiaYi sighed inwardly and decided he would bring her there after.

Once MingLi and ShenGu got to the club they drank shot after shot, not leaving any drinks other than the ones JiaXi and XiaYi saved for themselves. MingLi jumped up, she was wearing a black dress with straps and white long-sleeved thsort underneath, she looked very cute, she wore black takkies and easily dragged ShenGu to the dance floor. ShenGu picked dance number 19. Well turning up the dance floor MingLi saw a familiar figure walk up to JiaXi and XiaYi. Lin Dai? She immediately stopped dancing. She was light headed and couldn't think straight. "ShenGu, I feel weird". MingLi complained to her bbf. "Same here", replied ShenGu. They made their way back to the table and sat down, they both completely ignore Lin Dai as they where both too drunk to notice. MingLi made her way to XiaYi's side of the table and lied down comfortably on his lap. XiaYi saw that MingLi had had too much to drink and immediately brought her up to lay in his arms. He noticed Lin Dai's expression darken but downright ignored her. However she kept talking even though no one was really listening to her. After a minute or so of Lin Dai's nonstop rambling, ShenGu finally sat up and asked, "Who are you talking to?" Lin Dai's face flushed with embarrassment, "My XiaYi, of course". XiaYi didn't respond but MingLi was drunk and had no filter. She immediately sat up and glared at Lin Dai and said, "Unrequited love must hurt". Lin Dai's eyes reddened but MingLi laid back down not giving her a second glance. Lin Dai's eyes filled with tears but before she had a chance to put on a show, JiaXi scooped ShenGu and MingLi up and looked down at XiaYi, "Let's go, we have no time to film a drama ", he said and shot a glare at Lin Dai. He handed MingLi over to XiaYi and they both walked out of the club leaving a teary Lin Dai alone by herself. As soon as they reach the exit of the club MingLi got out of XiaYi's arms and started hopping and skipping around JiaXi, she was asking him pointless questions, which, JiaXi stilled answered seriously. JiaXi turned to XiaYi and said casually, "She gets like this when she drinks too much". XiaYi nodded indifferently and continued to watch as MingLi fired question after question and JiaXi answered each one with ease. This guy was truly a genius. He was like an encyclopedia.
