17 "The Dress"

We came to a stop in front of a bunch of boutiques that were shadowed by high class looking people on the sidewalks.

"Woah," I said.

Minami laughed. "You've never been in this area before?"

"I haven't, it's so amazing," I said taking everything in.

As we got out the car he led me down the walkway as people gasped and gawked.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S HIM! " a lady said excitedly from behind us. Camera's began flashing.

He pulled me into a boutique as a camera flashed in front of us.

It was empty and silent except for a stylist looking woman organizing some pieces.

"Are you alright?" He asked folding his arms across his chest and smirking.

I nodded. "Does this usually happen?"

"Time to time. Keep close to me so I can protect you," he said winking.

I took a step away from him as the lady came over towards us.

"Welcome! My name is Ai, Is there anything that your looking for in particular? We have the latest lines all the way from France," she said.

"I'm looking for something sexy for the lady," Minami said nodding towards me.

The lady turned her eyes toward me and looked me up and down.

"Ah yes, let's try on the newest piece," she said.

Before I could protest against everything she began shoving me towards the dressing rooms.

As I stood in the dressing room looking in the mirror I took a deep breath.

The dress was a bit tight fitting. A deep red with one strap and a slit on the side.

It was beautiful, I felt beautiful in in.

As I stepped out of the dressing room Minami stood there waiting.

His eyes grew bigger for a second before he grinned.

"That's the type of sexy I like," he said.

"I don't know about this dress," I said feeling nervous.

He waved Ai over as she took a look at me.

"Hm, a bit too pale in the face," she said

"How much is it?" Minami asked

"$5,660," Ai said. I almost choked when I heard the price.

"What?!" I gasped.

"Alright we'll take it," Minami said.

I stood in disbelief. "You don't have to do that. It's way too much!" I said panicking.

"I can't believe you bought that dress!" I said as we got in the car.

"You liked it so I brought it. What's wrong with that?" Minami asked.

"That isn't-" I began to say but he interrupted me.

"I'll get you anything you want," he said.

My face grew warm.
