Chapter 9: I will be your best wing-woman...

While everyone in the party arena was clapping their hands loudly, Dracula looked at the scene unfolding before him with wide eyes.

On the other hand, Jonathan was clapping his hands; one of them was cuffed with Dracula.

The shaking of his hands brought Dracula out of his stupor.

"Wait... wait... did my daughter just get married?"

He exclaimed loudly, holding his head with both his hands.

"Oh man... this is not marriage. He proposed to your daughter, and your daughter just accepted it,"

Jonny looked at Dracula with dead eyes, overacting like a player who missed his penalty.

Martha, who was standing below the stage, walked towards Mavis with a motherly smile.

"Mother..."

Seeing her mother walking towards her, Mavis tried to hide her embarrassment with a slight blush.

She placed her hand on Mavis's shoulder reassuringly, indicating she accepted her decision to have a relationship with Leo.

Suddenly, she turned and looked at the crowd, which became silent in a few seconds.

The monsters went into deep thought.

Same as Darcy, he also nodded his head with a wide smile.

"In front of our Lord Leo Morningstar, I hereby declare that you guys are husband and wife. Now, seal the pact with a kiss and offer it to the Lord."

Both Jonathan and Darcy kissed each other with gazes filled with love.

Just when Leo was thinking that everything was going normally, suddenly both Jonathan and Darcy took a pair of panties and put them inside the offering box placed before Leo's statue.

Seeing this, Leo's face turned ugly, and a vein throbbed in his head in anger.

Seeing the face of Leo made Mavis let out a giggle and take his hand, which brought him out of his thought of burying this place to rubble.

Frankenstein, avoiding the glares from Leo, finished his sentence and left the stage in a hurry.

Mavis pulled Leo closer by holding his cheeks and kissed him passionately. In response to her kiss, Leo grabbed her butt and hugged her tightly.

Seeing the scene, Dracula looked like he lost his soul, while Murrey was whistling behind him.

Then Mavis took a pair of panties with a teasing smile and gave one to Leo.

'Are you serious...'

Leo looked at her with twitched eyes, pleading with her to reconsider her decision.

Mavis didn't pay any heed to his pleading and took him towards the offering box and nudged him to drop them.
