3 "There's always an option of drinking poison, my dear"

The girl quickly ran to the room the voice was coming from.

"Help! Help me! I'm going to die!" the voice cried out.

The Princess stopped before a room in which the door was wide open. She could see the person that was crying for help and she shook her head in dismay.

The girl inside the room was wearing a light pink dress that flowed down the length of her slim body and her brown chocolate hair was in an elegant bun.

Despite the elegance she appeared to possess, the girl was anything but elegant. She jumped from here and there like a frog in hot water as she cried out for help.

Several servants were trying to calm her down but she continued her drama because she desperately needed attention.

The Princess sighed.

"Eebelle, what is the matter?" the Princess gritted out from the doorway.

Lady Eebelle, having gotten the attention she wanted, took the Princess's hand and brought into her room.

Her room, *cough*, to be nicely put and honestly said, it looked like a pink unicorn had pooped its entire contents on it. Everything and everywhere was pink.

Pink walls, pink sheets, pink clothes and accessories and even a pink carpet.

You would wonder why she hasn't gone colorblind from staring at excessive pink everyday.

"Oh, my dearest cousin, you won't understand how pained I am at this moment" Lady Eebelle dramatically pinched her nose for effect.

"Enlighten me" The Princess rolled her eyes.

"Oh, my dearest cousin, I have never experienced such sadness in my four times five years of living"

"You mean four times four" the Princess corrected.

"Anyways, I'm deeply disheartened" Lady Eebelee cried.

"What is it, Eebelle?" The Princess was running out of patience now.

"I woke up this beautiful morning to find out something disastrous" Lady Eebelle paused for the effect.

The Princess tapped her feet on the floor and counted three sheep in her head so she could have the patience not to lash out on this cousin of hers.

"I have no dress to wear to the Ball!" Lady Eebelle fell to the floor and cried.

"I've searched my entire trunk but I don't have a single dress to wear to the Ball which is just around the corner!" Lady Eebelle wailed as though someone had died in the family.

"That's all what this is about?!" The Princess was outraged.

Yes, she was used to her cousin's silly tantrums but today she had exceeded all silliness and dramatics.

"Yes!! Yes!! I'm doomed for eternity, how do I show my face to society now?!" Lady Eebelle fanned her face.

"There's always an option of drinking poison, my dear" the Princess mumbled under her breath.

"I hope you understand my ordeal, dear cousin?!" Lady Eebelle looked up for help.

"No, sweet Eebelle, I do not understand nor do I ever think I would understand your tantrums! You have about a thousands dresses inside your trunk, find an appropriate one and wear it!" the Princess gritted out of annoyance.

"But I have already worn those, dear cousin" Lady Eebelle claimed.

"Do I look like I care? Find a dress and wear it. For the Sacred Blood's sakes, you're not the one debuting" The Princess rolled her eyeballs and walked out of the room.

"But, sister-" Lady Eebelle followed her.

"Ah, ah" The Princess raised her hand.

"Dear cousin-"

"Uhm, you can't persuade me out of this, Eebelle" The Princess insisted.

"Fine! I'll just have to go to uncle then!" Lady Eebelle huffed and stormed down the hall.

"Ah, children" The Princess rolled her eyes.

"What was all that screaming about?"

A dashing young prince came from down the hall and asked.

He was as tall as six feet and a few inches. His long limbs were perfectly accentuated underneath his blue royal suit.

His jetblack hair was swiped back to reveal his astonishing features and it was as though the radiance of the sun was on full beam when he smiled.

"Pleasant morning, brother" The Princess greeted with a small bow.

"Same to you, dearest sister" the Prince replied.

"It was just our silly cousin, Eeblle, disrupting the peaceful morning with her childish drama" the Princess rolled her eyes.

"Didn't expect less" the Prince chuckled.

"So tell me, how are you feeling about your debutante?" the Prince asked his baby sister.

"Nervous or Excited?" He smiled.

"I would say both, brother. I'm excited I will be regarded as a grown Vampiress onwards but I'm nervous to meet the suitors they've chosen for me" the Princess said.

"Oh? Is my baby tiger scared to meet her future King?" the Prince teased.

"Stop teasing me, I'm already nervous as it is" The Princess pouted.

"Don't worry, young one. The suitors they have chosen are one of the best in the empire, I made sure of that" the Prince assured.

"I know but I'm still getting jitters" the Princess sighed.

"It will be alright" the Prince promised.

"Where's Brother Kindare and Brother Khinel?" the Princess asked.

"The former is in his room sleeping off his hangover and the latter is playing outside. As usual" the Prince answered and the Princess sighed.

In the Empire of Urankia, the Emperor and Empress had four beautiful children, three boys and a girl.

Everyone thought the Empress had blessed the empire with not just one male but three male heirs who would preserve their lineage, but sadly, they were wrong.

The eldest, Prince Kelle, announced that he was not a fan of females a few years ago, and the Empress collapsed while the Emperor insulted and even banned his son from Urankia.

The second Prince, Kindare turned out to be a handsome young Vampire and also extraordinarily great at swordsmanship. When the empire were jubilating that they had a potential Emperor in the making, destruction hit home.

Kindare's fiancee died in an unfortunate accident and life ended for the young Prince. He resorted to alcohol and a lewd life in pubs and the potential Emperor dilapidated into nothing but an empty skull.

While the third son, Prince Khinel, a bright and vivacious Vampire yet without a sane mind. Prince Khinel was involved in an unpleasant incident when he was just a young boy.

In result, he lost his sanity and was diagnosed with autism, depression, and PTSD( Post-traumatic stress disorder) and life went rough for him since then.

After the empire lost all hopes of having an heir to the throne, Princess Divale came into the picture and they saw hope and light for Urankia.

All special attention went into brooding Divale into the perfect Queen. From how to walk to how to talk, no stone was left unturned to teach her what she needed to be regarded as the 'perfect' child of the empire.

She was given everything her little lips ever asked for and extra care, extra servants, extra time were invested in raising the Princess so that when she reached the ripe age of courtship, a young Prince would marry her and they would both lead the empire and therefore preserve the lineage.

The Princess's debutante was in two days and she would have to choose from the top three suitors so she would be wedded in two weeks.

Everyone in the empire was working on the preparations of the grandest ball ever to be held by the Urankia empire.

There would be no room left for mistakes, negligence or disruption because if just one single thing were to go wrong that night, the empire of Urankia would be ruined for eternity.
