Evren stared down at the girl, his calculative silver narrowed at her. Tears streamed down Agnes's eyes as she laid helpless on the floor. She wanted to plead, perhaps the son they all call the demon might save her, but she didn't have the strength to.

As he watched her in silence, a small man came to stand before him. "Master," the man who always reported his matters to the lady appeared behind him.

"Berrycloth get a doctor for her, there are a few things I want to find out about her." Berrycloth nodded and walked away. Agnes saw Evren close the gate and lock it himself while burying the key deep inside his pocket as he walked away.
