3 Call Of The Wild.

Noah, "Something's wrong she's always back before dad gets in." They were both glued to the front window awaiting their mother to return cousin in arms. Curled up in each other's legs they watch on the whisper of wind bash the branches they looked on at the busy street around them. An environment social enough for them to survive but private enough not to live in fear. So different to where Ally was right now, people called that place a desolate wasteland now. They both jolt up seeing car headlights but soon deflated as Isaac pulled up in his car with a strange expression on his face like he was in pain.

Lilly, "I was trying to be pessimistic but I think you might be right Noah." Their wide eyes followed him around to the front door, gushing through with the wind his nourished fluffy hazel hair and the same stunning red eyes was none other than the man who had chosen to protect them and Ally no matter what.

Noah, "Welcome back dad." Noah said happily hugging him, Isaac smiled and kissed his head. Lilly waited back studying him a little bit, usually, he's shower Noah in love when he came through the door but now he looked rushed and in need of something. Lilly also received a warm hug from him before he also looked over at the window they'd been at their scent thick meaning they had been there a while.

Lilly, "Dad, are you alright?" He looked pale, and a little preoccupied nothing like the usual potty-mouthed, happy man they knew. Noah uneasily glanced at Lilly, it was strange he hadn't asked about mother yet.

Isaac, "Not really kiddo, your mom's going to be back soon and I need you both to leave us when she does okay?" Those words were full of malice at the situation and immediately red flags started flaring up, they kept no secrets in this house so why did they have to leave?

Noah, "Is Mom okay?" Lilly flinched to see Noah also looking pale, their mother was his security blanket and without her, he felt vulnerable and anxious, this wasn't good at all.

Lilly, "Noah please let me talk to Isaac alone for a minute."

Noah, "You said no secrets, Lilly! Why do I have to leave?"

Lilly, "Because despite the circumstances your still a child and we have no idea what's going on with mom but I need you to e patient." It was tough speaking down to Noah like that as far as this household was concerned nobody held their head higher than the rest but it wasn't wrong to say he was too young. Isaac looked down knowing Lilly had it in for him when Noah left that room his sad weary eyes almost begging him to stay but Noah understood that Lilly didn't say such things without good reason so he left. The atmosphere took a heavy turn and Isaac knew Lilly alsoknew something.

Lilly, "My gut has been killing me for hours now almost like someone's taken a silver knife and jabbed it into my lungs. What happened to my mother?" Isaac flinched, seeing his adoptive daughter trembling and clutching her chest. Her bond to Ally was unique enough to constitute shared psychic pain.

Isaac, "Uncle Blake called me an hour ago saying that your mother was in a bad way and they needed an emergency meeting as soon as possible. I'm waiting on everyone else getting here." Lilly sat down in shock, an emergency meeting meant this needed immedite action the highest level of alert between the pack.

Lilly, "Uncle Aiden is coming isn't he?" Isaac nodded, eventhough he was a huge big shot actor now didn't mean he woldn't negelct Ally, he'd rather be flayed alive then face her wrath of ignorance.

Isaac, "Your brother Damien was close enough to join too, he said he can't wait to see you." Lilly felt slightly guilty such bad times had brought everyone together but she wanted to stand in a house full of a family again. Damien was her closest siblings and purposely always travelled nearby in-case they ever needed him. Whereas Eli and Camilla could be anywhere in the world.

Lilly, "This is the most anxious I've seen you since Noah was born, mother's strong so what event could have possibly triggered such a reaction? Was she crying?" Isaac thought back to an hour ago.

----------------1 Hour Previous-----------------------

It had been a busy day rehabilitating the wolves and vampires that had faced injury while surviving in such a misunderstanding society. The increase of kids was getting larger and families were visiting for safety more than anything. This incline had Ally and Isaac worried a while back but strangely the activity died down before too many people were taken by it almost like the enemy was biding their time. As his stiff hands touched the handle a smile crept across his face. That feeling of cool metal on his fingertips meant he would be going home to a beautiful wife and children. It happened every time like routine but that day his smile was stolen by a phonecall. Isaac felt a shiver seeing Blake on the caller ID, that bad feeling was back.

Isaac, "What is it?" It was a straight quick to the point answer and Blake quickly scrambled out all that he could.

Blake, "I need you to go home and wait for me. Call an emergency meeting as soon as possible, we need all the help we can get. She's going to wage war do you f*cking hear me, Isaac! Everything is gone, everything we knew is gone." Isaac stumbled back into the door, Blake's voice was so high on adrenaline he wasn't even making sense but in the background, he could hear faint whimpers only he recognized, it was the same noise Ally made when Luther died. It sounded like they were running through leaves and branches.

Isaac, "I know I can't help right now but are any of you hurt?" Blake paused as if checking, then he gasped confirming Isaac's suspicions. Ally never ran away from anyone it was the same as burning her pride.

Blake, "Ally was shot twice, my arm is broken but apart from that, I'm fine. I'm begging you please get Carrie I think this one is going to be hard to fight on her own." That meant the wound would need a little more than blood. This was bad if it was bullets it meant the threat was human, and she sounded in pain. More than anything he wanted to drive there right now and comfort her, 10 years ago he probably would have by then but the mature instinct in him he trusted domineered.

Isaac, "Come home safe, if you get into trouble you call me I mean it." Blake tapped twice meaning yes then hung up. Isaac was filled to the brim with dread, this was the first sincere disturbance they'd endured since migrating to human society, this time he had children to think about. People he could lose made him shake in angst.

----------------------Present---------------------------

Lilly, "She was shot! Who Isaac, who did it!" She growled her hair standing on end if anything Lilly was the worse person to tell about this, her mother was her everything but when her mother came in covered in wounds and bleeding our with that unphased yet pain-stricken face walks in, she needed to know why.

Isaac, "I don't know either honey, I'm just as pissed as you but we don't know anything yet okay so let's get some towels out for your mother and take a breath. If Blake knew who it was then he would have said, it was always a rule to identify your assailant before getting back if you're able to."

Lilly, "You're a liar they need to inform just-in-case they don't come back. Remember don't sugar coat things around me, I can take it." With a defeated painful smile he sighed, she reminded him of Ally at this age. 'I can take it' was basically her motto, so she took on everyone's problems unknowingly ruining her innocence and self-worth bit by bit. It wasn't that Isaac didn't have faith she could take the burden, it was the fact he never wanted to burden her in the first place.

Isaac, "Your uncle Aiden's here, I'm going to get some things. Could you let him in please?" Lilly nodded as he dashed off. His signature Audi A9 vroomed up to the drive and within seconds her uncle burst through the door. Lilly smiled, he looked like he'd just come offset. His recent silver highlighted hair and blue contacts made him striking, he was tall and muscular like always and when he hugged her without a seconds thought she felt her spine crack.

Lilly, "You've missed me that much?" She chucked slightly in pain, they were always like this, closer than siblings but yet never crossed that line.

Aiden, "Of course I did, you get even more gorgeous every time little Lilly." They let go and locked eyes, both pairs filled with anxiety at the situation.

Lilly, "Uncle said Mom's in bad shape, what do you think?" Aiden shrugged his shoulders in dejection, if only he knew too usually he'd had worked it out by now but all they knew was people had shot at Ally in particular, Blake wasn't even injured. Both of them sat down in the living room, Aiden put his puzzled hands underneath his chin and thought but a small part of him could only think of one thing causing him to chuckle, Slightly perturbed Lilly tilted her head.

Aiden, "Your mother used to say despite being so hidden that place sure had a way of attracting bad luck almost like the land itself was cursed. Spilt blood seeps into the ground taking a part of that scenery with it as an imprint, Ally always used to say it always disturbed her. I remembered her saying that clear as day, so it's ironic the one day she goes unplanned they're ambushed. Maybe it's cursed after all." Aiden tried to smile through there situation, Lilly nodded ion agreement, that sounded like something her mother would say.

Lilly, "You all told me the story about the S.E.S, could it be them?" Aiden felt a chill run down his spine, if that were the case this was much bigger than anticipated then he recalled something.

Aiden, "Legally in order to keep the peace a company must first come to an agreement about territory otherwise this whole place would be a blood bath, Vermont gave no word about a recent situation regarding a company so the odds are unlikely."

Lilly, "Meaning the enemy could very well be anyone?" Lilly caught on quick if it were the S.E.S clean up would be easy since they'd openly attacked a wolf in its own territory. Now doors of possibilities were opened, Ally was a legend among them but it didn't mean enemies were meek.

Isaac, "Brother your here." Like always the two hugged and patted each other back. Isaac and Aiden were closer than before on the account of what they endured together. A love rival pushed a wedge between their family bond but that soon dissipated when it became clear Aiden was no match for the bond Ally and Isaac shared so he let her go.

Lilly, "Isaac I need to tell you about something." Intrigued he stroked her hair and asked her to go on. Aiden also leaned in curiously, it was rare Lilly spoke out usually she'd quietly listen analysing everything alone.

Lilly, "Before you came home I got a cold chill, the same feeling you get when someones watching you. I also...felt a pain in my gut. I thought it was just anxiety but the impact felt a lot like..." She trailed off embarrassed to be saying something but Isaac hugged her abruptly.

Isaac, "Your mom used to feel the same whenever uncle Blake got hurt, your bond may have something to do with it but it's going to be okay sweetheart I promise." Aiden smiled, since when did Isaac get such a maternal instinct, he was such a brat before.

Aiden, "If that's where she got shot then she'll be fine it's not a fatal wounding." Trying to reassure her they sat her down and gave her some water, a cold sweat had come over her like a wave of pressure. Like a build of to something, then almost on cue headlights pulled up in the drive. Isaac and Aiden looked at the time, Damien drove a red mustang that stood out so this wasn't him. Suddenly a whiff of sweet sulphur hit them and like lightning, they bolted out of the door. Lilly also stumbled to her feet panting in worry.

Isaac, "Hey Honey, look at me it's going to be okay." His sweet trembling voice made everything go numb around her. It was at the kind of tone that screamed something was wrong, then as soon as Isaac enveloped her mother in arms a loud sobbing startled them all. Lilly felt her knees go weak...was that really her mothers cry? It sounded so painful.

Aiden, "Jesus Christ, Blake what the hell happened!" Blake was covered in Ally's blood trembling in shock, he looked dulled out like a candle on the last burn of the wick. Isaac swooped up his distressed wife and ran inside.

Blake, "Inside. I'll tell you." Lilly shuddered, even her uncle could barely mutter a word and where was Jack? Aiden sighed and guided Blake inside, Lilly followed in. Isaac was soothing Ally's forehead with his cool palm while feeding her. Lilly didn't see it often only when it was an emergency. Seeing her mother's tears peeking through her long black lashes broke her heart, what had broken someone so strong so badly.

Isaac, "Blake you need to start talking buddy, why is she like this?" Annoyed and in pain seeing his lifemate in pieces Isaac glared coldly. They needed answers. Blake jugged down some water, he could barely hold the glass due to trembling.

Blake, "Everything was gone..." He muttered.

Aiden, "What's gone Blake, we need more than that." Aiden couldn't take his eyes off of Ally, it was the same when Luther died which made them question if someone had done just that.

--------------------------------1 Hour Prior----------------------

Ally, "I'LL KILL THEM EVERY FUCKING LAST ONE OF THEM." With a swift look in every direction, a wisp of wind sent her a scent. It wasn't quite distinguishable but it was definitely strange, they were close enough for her to hear there breath.

Blake, "What is it Ally?" He said in a panic, there was a certain way his sister looked when something was up, her hands clenched tightly and her mouth scrunched up in disgust.

Ally, "30...Shit..." She whispered grabbing Blake shirt and pulling him behind her.

Blake, "30 what?... Not enemies...surely" He almost chuckled nervously, then Ally have him a confirming yet despairing look. Then a click of guns made her mind work a lot faster.

Ally, "RUN!" Dragging him along they both burst into a sprint and like lightning, a spray of bullets tunnelled towards them. Blake stumbled slightly gasping in terror, a slip up could cost him his life. Luckily his sister was still holding o to his shirt and launched him back up. Ally looked lost her eyes darting around, it made Blake less confident in their situation. Tree bark spitted at them and a high pitched whooshed rung in their ears. They ran in a zig-zag pattern to avoid a direct line of sight in the trees, but why weren't the bullets getting further away, surely they couldn't keep up with supernaturals unless...

Blake, "They're wolves aren't they, I can smell it!" Ally shook her head punching branches out of the way.

Ally, "I couldn't pick up a solid scent almost like my nose was confused but if they can keep up and also shoot then they're a little more than wolves. I can smell something else ij there too." Blake panted heavily and clenched his fists. That meant they were dealing with hybrids. Taboo assassins, things couldn't really get any worse.

They both gasped as a person coated in black jumped down from the trees ahead of Ally and immediately attacked, startled but ready Ally sucked their punch and ran straight through, fighting meant the bullets would catch up quick and they didn't have time but after a while, more people started falling, strangely they never even looked at Blake they're soul purpose was to take his sister down. Ally mercilessly fought her way through managing to keep the pace but it was using a lot of energy and she was low on blood. In the distance, they could see the car doors open ready to go but they dare sigh in relief and it was right to do so. As their feet crossed the threshold between worlds the fire behind them ceased. Confused but grateful Ally ran round to the driver seat only to be met face to face with a gun barrel. Blake had never felt so sick in his life watching actual fear come across Ally's face but it didn't last long as her instincts kicked in, she dodged the bullet and flung the person out of the car. But before she could jump in a loud shot echoed out, Ally gasped and fell forward onto the seat.

Blake, "Ally!" He jumped through the car and dragged her in but as he did another deafening shot and a heavy splash of blood stunned him, it had gone through her stomach and the other straight through her chest. She coughed up blood as scrambled to close the door. Stuttering gasps left her mouth trying to do so feeling the deep heated agony seep through her blood. It had all happened so fast she hadn't seen the man standing at her window. He was tall and well built with a strange scent and feeling of malice. Before they could speed away, Ally heard something terrifying in a dark excited voice.

"Must you be so stubborn Ally? The longer you struggle the more people will die, so enjoy family life while you can. I'll see you really soon"
