96 96| The King and the Princess

It had been three boring days without Cloud at home. My wrist still hurt but at least I could tolerate it much more. If I thought being in the Palace before was lonely, it was even worse now that Cloud was at work whilst I was stuck here with Ezekiel. Yes, he was great company but Cloud was even better. 

"What time is it?" I asked Ezekiel as we were sitting in the sunroom. 

"It's been ten minutes since you've asked me last time Adonis," he sighed and turned to look at me, "Cloud's only been gone for two hours I'm sure you can sustain without him."

Only if he knew the eight hours Cloud was at work felt like an eternity to me. "That's impossible," I frowned and pointedly looked away, "wherever he is so it my heart."

"That was so painfully cheesy," he gagged, "he got you so distracted whilst climbing down the stairs that you thought you could walk on air."
