47 Tony's Mom and John Visits the Store

Tony and his friends opened up the building as they went around the building checking out the facilities.

After they were done with the tour of the building, they went to the main hall of the building as they began to think together on some of the things that was needed before the place could get up and running.

Tony was satisfied with the paint job inside the building as he felt the paint could work perfectly for his arcade centre so he decided he was going to only paint the exterior of the building.

Tony was a little experienced from his previous timeline about what was necessary to run a normal store so he had a few ideas on what he was to do first. He immediately used his phone to go online as he searched for a close by cleaning company to come clean up the place now.

He placed a call to the cleaning company he found and that were also available to work on a Sunday and gave them directions to the place.

He and his friends found a place to continue discussing on what was needed for the place to finally get operational, while the cleaning company had later arrived and began cleaning both inside and outside of the building.

They discussed and argued a little on the necessary things that would be needed for the business. Tony now had a rough idea on what was needed to be arranged for the arcade centre. But he wasn't in a hurry as he could do most of the things during the weekdays after he was done with training for the day.

While they were waiting for the cleaners to be done he order for two boxes of pizza and some diet coke. He gave one of the boxes of pizza and some diet coke to the cleaners when it was time for them to rest.

He and his friends continued to deliberate on other things concerning the arcade centre as they ate the pizza and drank the cokes.

The reason Tony had decided to set up an arcade centre instead of a convenient store was that he felt it might be a little bit wierd or out of place if he got popular and his stores with his name would just be selling provisions and nothing related to sports.

Since he was a footballer, he felt it was maybe better and beneficial if he started something related to football or sports in general that he could then easily use his popularity to influence and promote.

So he decided on an arcade centre as it was somewhat related to sports and could also easily generate profit for Tony. And maybe if he got popular from football he could also boost it's income through his popularity.

That was why he was yet to decide on a name for the store, as he was still deliberating on a name that sounded nice and could also easily be associated with him in the future.

After some hours of discussing together the cleaners where finally done. Tony paid them handsomely after he and his friends had inspected the building and could clearly see that the place was now very clean.

After that they decided they should go celebrate the building as Tony locked up the building and drove his friends to a closeby restaurant to go celebrate.

They ate some exquisite dishes in the restaurant as they also continued to chat about different things. When it was getting late, Tony and his friends decided it was time to call it a night before he then dropped them off and he went back home.

Tony told his parents and his brother about everything and his progress on the preparations for the building. They congratulated him and advised him to be careful not to spend on unnecessary or extravagant things too early in the place.

Tony listened to there advise before he went to his room upstairs and had his bath before he slept off for the night.

It was a Monday and training for the day went smoothly as the players all did what they were meant to do in training.

The only sour note was a player who had injured himself while he was playing football with his mates at home in the weekend. But luckily the injury wasn't too serious as he was likely to make a full recovery in about two weeks.

After training Tony told John about his arcade centre and asked if he would like to come see it. At first John laughed it off as he thought Tony was pulling his legs but when he saw that Tony was really serious about trying to set up a business he congratulated him and expressed a desire to come see the building.

They drove over to the building as Tony showed John around the building and explained some of his plans for the building to John.

As they were still walking around the building, Tony's mom called him on his mobile phone asking for directions to the place.

Tony gave her directions and she took a cab and met over to meet them at the place.

She had heard about John from Tony but this was the first time she was meeting him. They greeted each other and Tony took her into the building and showed her the different spaces and places while he explained what he planned to use them for.

Tony's mom was very happy with his plans and the standard of the building facilities as she commended Tony for choosing a good building and location.

After that Tony, John and his Mom drove to an eatery and had lunch together. Tony and John discussed some occurances and jokes that had happened in the academy. They avoided some of the locker room incidents as those were considered to be inside jokes to be shared only with the players.

John was really social and chatted respectfully with Tony's mom even though they just met this same day.

After they were done with there lunch they got into the car to go drop John off before Tony and his mom then drove back home.

When Tony got home he laid on his bed and used his phone to surf the net as he checked around the area for a painter who could paint and design the exterior of the building.
