16 New Car
Tony slept as long as he wanted, as today being a weekend without a match was the first free day he had since he started the academy.
As he usually woke up very early and prepare himself before he went to catch a bus to the Academy. Today he slept till about after 9 am, before he went downstairs to go greet his parents and have his breakfast.
After having his breakfast, Tony who had been having plans of speaking to his parents about him wanting to buy a car using money from his winnings.
He majorly needed the car to transport him from the academy, as he would no longer need to rush to the bus stations everyday.
He explained to his parents the need for his buying of a car. With his junior brother also using that opportunity to tactically make a case for his own car again.
But his mom totally shooting down his junior brother chances for a new car. His parents finally accepted as they felt the car will definitely make things easier for Tony.
They all agreed to go to the car dealership in the evening after Tony went for his driver's exam in the afternoon. Tony was very happy as he would definitely buy a better car than his saloon car from the previous timeline.
Around noon, Tony who had decided he would go for the driver's test alone left for the centre.
He was not anxious at all, as he had already been driving for some years from his previous timeline.
The exam was straight forward and easy, as he successfully passed his driver's exams and test.
Tony who was feeling the urge to use some of the bet money to quickly buy some clothes and other miscellaneous things. But he decided against it and rushed home.
On getting home, he showed his family his new drivers license as they joyfully congratulated him.
They later had there lunch before they all left in Tony's dad car to the Auto shop.
When they got there, they started looking around at the various beautiful cars and there prices.
Tony persistently insisted that he also bought a car for his mother who didn't have a car, but she refused as she gave an excuse of having little places she went to daily, aside buying groceries and visiting her friends.
After looking around for a while the whole family agreed to buy a Red Nissan sport car of #30,000 pounds. Tony would have loved to buy a Ferrari or a lamboghini. But he was a little too young to have such flamboyant cars. And he didn't want to go around telling people about winning a bet.
His new Nissan car was an automatic geared system with a smooth engine and a very nice stereo system.
They notified the car dealers of there choice and Tony went for a test drive with a sales person.
The salesperson kept talking almost throughout during the test drive, in a bid to close the sale.
"The car uses a V6 engine with sport enhanced sensors. The engine is as silent as a soaring bird and the fuel usage is very economical. "It's okay, I will buy it." Tony had no option than to think of a way to quickly shut the salesman up, before he would have been told the names of the driver's that shipped the car over.
Tony really liked the smooth performance of the car as it was very effective and he loved that wonderful new car smell that was just divine.
They drove around a bit, as Tony checked and tested the cars various functions before they came back to the dealership.
Where the necessary documents where signed and the required sum for the sum and insurance were paid by Tony.
After signing all the paperwork, Tony's father quickly took the keys as he wanted to be the one to drive the car home.
Tony's mom and brother also wanted to enjoy the new car. So Tony was asked to drive his father's car and follow them as they drove together out of the dealership.
Tony's father drove the car to a very classy restaurant where they ate there fill and drank a celebratory bottle of wine.
When they were done, it was already late as they drove home. This time it was Tony's mom who drove his new car home as both brothers sat in the passenger seats, while Tony's father drove his car behind there's.
George used that opportunity to ask for a driving lesson later, as he could not wait to start driving and maybe own his own car.
When they got home it was already late, as they all went to rest for the night. Tony was happy he successfully dealt with all the necessary things related to the car today.
'Hey Tony there are some skills we can copy. There conditions were basically simple as you only had to be in training together for some minutes. There are presently some skills that you have achieved the condition of 500 minutes of training together.'
'More of such skills will accumulate, and we can copy them on days like today that we didn't go for training, or they will immediately vanish once we achieve the condition of a higher grade.'
Tony was so happy as Rose told him about the skills he got from training with people, this was just so perfect. 'So what skills do we have now' he asked
' The skills we have for now are all of the C grade. Speed C-, Defending C+, Leadership C-, Heading C-, Crossing C+ and Longshots C+.'
After thinking about it for awhile, he gave Rose the authority to copy the skills she saw as the best on days he could not achieve a better skill condition.
She immediately copied the Longshots C+ as the familiar cold feeling came over his body.
'Tomorrow I will copy the skill of Crossing C+, and on other days where we don't have better skills to copy, I would copy one of the others.' Rose then explained.
Tony agreed to her suggestions, before he then slept off, as his Saturday came to an end.
