67 Launch

After training on Wednesday, Tony told John he had things to do due to the launching of the arcade centre which he had fixed for 29th of October which was the next day.

Tony went to the arcade center and met all his new staffs, he talked with them a little and told them what was expected of each and every one of them before they all began to make other preparations for the launch the next day.

They tested and played all the games that had now been neatly arranged and connected. Everything was in order as the technician had been the one to set everything up.

The launch was set for 4pm in the evening the next day, when students, young adults and most people who could be interested in playing games would have been back from work and schools and now be free to do whatever they wanted to do.

Tony comported himself to appear a little bit bossy to command respect from his staffs as he gave them some orders and duties to perform even though most of them were basically older than even his 23years of experience in life.

Luckily this wasn't his first time doing such task as he had ample experience from his convenient stores from his previous timeline.

When Tony and his staffs finally closed up and left the arcade center, everything was basically set and they had even made provisions for snacks, music and some other things to liven up the atmosphere for the launch.

The next day Tony woke up and did his normal routine before he went to the academy for training. He informed his friends with his phone and invited some of his teammates he was a little close to, for the launch later in the evening.

After training he went to the arcade center to confirm that everything was in order. Everything was as he had wanted and his staffs had even taken the initiative to do some other things he had overlooked or forgotten.

He double checked some things before he was satisfied with everything and then went back home to go prepare and do some other things.

When it was almost time he showered and dressed a little bit more formal in a neatly ironed shirt and plain trousers. He and his brother got into his car and then drove to the arcade center while they discussed and brainstormed trying to check if he had forgotten anything.

His parents would come in his dad's car later in the evening as Tony had assured them that he had everything under control and there was nothing for them to stress about.

Tony knew it wasn't how fast but how good and comfortable he made the place that would ultimately generate a steady profit for him in the future.

He knew he might probably have to use his personal money to run the business for a while if the business didn't pick up well, until the business was self sufficient and started to generate healthy profits.

Tony and his brother George saw to some other things in the center while they prepared for the time for the launch and the arrival of the customers.

When it was time they did some formalities to signify the launch with some pictures with Tony's family before they officially launched the center and the lights of the building were all switched on and light musics were being played on some speakers around the place.

The persons that had come for the launch were over 50 and Tony was already very happy. Some of his friends and teammates were also coming at intervals as he stayed close to the entrance welcoming everyone.

The people entering were giving a prepared handbill informing them that everything for the first week was 50% discounted, that is half price for the opening week.

There were also going to be monthly tournaments in some of the popular games.

There was free snacks and a medium diet coke for everyone during the launch.

In the arcade center there was a snack store and where the players or customers could eat a little snacks to regain there strength and maybe continue playing games if they were tired.

There was also some chairs, tables, and a restroom for the comfort of the customers. Tony saw that everything was going smoothly as the customers tested out and played the games.

He saw that there was no complains from any of the customers apart from some of them asking questions about some of the games from the staffs as the feedback was generally good. He observed the attitude and response from his staffs as he wanted to ensure they weren't rude to the customers.

He went to play games with some of his teammates at the room they had put the PlayStation 4's. They all played football against each other for a long time before they began leaving to go try out some other games.

Tony had used a lot of money in arranging everything and the money he had left in his account including his weekly wage from the academy was enough for him as he had little expenses for now due to him still staying with his parents.

But later in the future his expenses would naturally have to increase along with his income if he got to sign a professional contract with the club.

He knew he might even have to go out on loan or he might just be promoted to an older academy team next year. Or if he was extremely lucky he could make the direct jump into the Man City first team.

When it was getting late some of the customers began to go back home and most of Tony's friends had already gone back home. His parents had gone back home a long time ago as they had little interest In playing games.

When it was about 10pm the staffs gave account for the earnings from the evening before they closed down the center for the day. Tony was very impressed with the earnings and if things Continued this way then they would be no problems.

Things were looking good and after the promotional method of 50% discount elapsed after the week. The profits will probably be doubled alongside other new customers who might come along.

He dropped three of his staffs with his car along the way to his house before he and George went home to go sleep and rest for the night.
