15 After The Game

After the game, the players were given a break and asked to go bath and prepare for tactics lesson.

When they were all gathered and were ready, Coach Taylor began by commending both teams for there performances.

After he commended the teams, he now lectured them on the things they did wrong and right.

He highlighted some of there good team work, like how they mostly defended and attacked together.

After that he offed the light as they watched an edited clip of there opponents in the Under 18 premier league match next Saturday.

There opponents were the Wolves under 18 team. Nothing was really special about the team, but they still had to be taken seriously.

The video clip showed how the Wolves team attacked, defended and there teamwork from last season.

"We must remember, this analytical video was from last season. And many things would have changed already just as we have changed." Coach Taylor explained.

"The first rule when planning for an opponent, is not to be 100% confident on there approach for the match, as things definitely change..."

Coach Taylor explained a lot about how tactics was not supposed to be set in stone, and how even the must complete plan may not suddenly work, needing a change to the previous plans.

" So now, we will be discussing how we will play the match. My favorite formation from last season was the 4-3-3. But this season, it would be more of a 4-5-1 as our wingers are to drop behind the striker and work with our midfielders."

" We would also be training the 4-4-2 and the 4-3-3, and train how to adjust all this three formations on the pitch, without the opponents noticing it too quickly. This are only the favoured formations, we would still be training a lot of tactics during the season"

Coach Taylor went into details on the team approach and some other little things he wanted to see in the play of the team, before he ended by saying

"Remember they are no chosen or preferred 11 yet, so I will be expecting you all to give your best in the coming trainings and matches."

"Thank you, that will be all for the day, go home and have a proper rest."

After that the players all went towards there homes in groups. Tony walked with John as they both strolled over to the bus station.

After getting into the bus, both players later departed at there different bus stops close to there homes.

Tony got home in the afternoon and was really tired, after he a few snacks and was relaxing at the sitting room, Rose reminded him about the football skill B+ they had achieved the condition for.

He immediately gave her the permission to copy it, he felt the same cold feeling which he had knew to be a synonym of success, as he copied the skill.

After he copied the skill, his mood immediately improved as he began to discuss with his mother and brother.

They discussed about anything and everything for hours before his dad later came back from work and joined them. When it was getting late they all got ready for dinner.

"Hey Tony, hope you are thinking about how you are going to properly spend and invest the money from your betting wisely?" Tony's dad asked during dinner.

"I am yet to decide, but by weekend I should have a better idea of what to do with it."

"Hey Tony, why not buy two cars for both of us" Tony brother immediately spoke up as he saw an opportunity to express his mind.

"Even if he were to buy a car, you are still too immature for me to start letting you drive. Maybe in two years time, when you are 18 I will reconsider." Tony's mom immediately rebuked him to the laughter of Tony and his dad.

While eating dinner, Tony thought about it and decided he would buy a car. As he would be more mobile and at least stop rushing to the bus stops everyday.

After dinner, he browsed on his phone as he and Rose tried to decide on a car to buy during the weekend.

He was undecided as they were too many options, he didn't want a car that was too flashy or too old fashioned.

He decided he would decide it with his family on the day he goes to buy it, before he fell asleep.

The next day was a Friday, he woke up as he quickly checked where he was. As he had just dreamt that he was back being 23 years old and was back in his apartment.

He was happy it was only a dream and he was still 18years old and in his parents house. He still made sure to confirm the system was still there first.

'Good morning Rose!'

'Good morning Tony, hope you are gearing up to copy some skills today?'

'Absolutely. That reminds me open the system window let see the new football skill level.'

The stats window immediately appears, showing his stats.

Tony was so happy that he quickly bathed got dressed, went downstairs and ate his breakfast quickly.

As he couldn't wait to get to training to see if he had really improved his skills in football.

When he got to the academy, he changed his clothes and rushed to the training pitch.

There were a few other players already there playing with the ball, but none he knew personally.

He picked a ball and tried to perform some skills he saw from professional players like Neymar or Ronaldo.

He tried to perform them and they were as easy as pie. He tried a lot of other skills he knew about but couldn't even think of trying before, but now he could do most of them.

He even performed a rainbow flick and got it. He was really happy as he waited for others to come and for training to begin.

Training began as the normal drills were to be executed by the players.

In the dribbling course, Tony felt his feets were more coordinated as he could now dart from one position to the other faster than ever.

He was so happy that he didn't change to another drill like other players. He repeatedly performed the dribbling drills as he could see the effectiveness of the football skills B+.

He felt confident that he could at least successful dribble past an average first team player now.

But knew he would still face a massive battle if he went one on one against elites like Ramos, pique, John Terry, Ferdinand, Kompany, etc.

As those were some of the legendary defenders from around the year 2015.

And if he was to go against Van dijk, Kante, Laporte, Maguire or even tackling lord wan bissaka from 2020. He would still find it a hard battle.

After about an hour of training, Coach Luka announced the players that would be playing.

Tony was not amongst the players involved in the training match that day as he watched as both teams battled it out to a 1:1 draw.

After the match, the players went to bath change and eat at the cafeteria, before they went to the seminar room for the analysis from the training match.

After the analysis they were allowed to go home and were given good news that there was no training till Monday.

The players were so happy about the free weekend as they went to there respective homes. Tony and John like always went together to the bus stop where they took a bus to there respective homes.

Tony was even more happy about the free Saturday as he would have enough time to buy the car and even start thinking of setting up his business.
