5 The Power of Zero Steps

Alec now running towards the howl he sees a cave near and moves closer in, as Alec moves in closer he senses a few white wolfs running at a fast pace towards his direction. "Shit did they smell me!?"

Alec thought as he created a Mana Ball in his hand but the wolfs just passed him without detecting him. "Wait! They are running towards the town!" Alec immediately threw the Mana Ball hitting one of the 3 wolfs in the back leg to slow one of them down.

All the wolf immediately turn around with there teeth bared and growling, but Alec didn't give them time to breath as 2 more Mana balls shot out at fast speeds but the wolfs were just a little faster as they both dodged. But a big smile appeared on Alecs face as he jumped out of the bushes on to a tree and threw another Mana Ball at the wolf that was injured instantly crushing its spin killing it, the other 2 wolfs seeing this start to howl but before the howl comes of another Mana ball shoots out from the tree line crashing into the ground.

Both wolfs jumping to the side, as a black figure instantly appeared next to one of them sending a Palm strike with freighting speed at the side of one of the wolfs crushing its ribs and bursting the internal organs killing the wolf with one blow. "Take me to your leader!" Alec said to the wolf that just now noticed him as he killed his other comrade. The last wolf looking at Alec nods its head and starts to run in the direction. Alec taking of behind it making sure to keep a good distance just incase an ambush is set up. As Alec is running the end up making it back to that cave from earlier. just as they get to the entrance of the cave the Wolf Alec was following came to a stop and let out a howl as Alec sat there he waited and a Huge Howl could be heard

"AAAWWWWWOOOOOO!!!"

Loud foot steps could be heard as a huge white wolf walked out of the cave, the wolfs Alec killed were very small in comparison to this wolf. Walking up Alec hears a voice in his mind. "Are you the one that killed my son!?" The white wolf said filled with a little bit of anger. "I am!" Alec stated loudly.

GGRRRRRRRR!

"And you dare show your face in front of me! You are seeking death!" The white wolf said as he showed his teeth. "It's not my fault your son was weak and couldn't see the difference between us! And if anyone is seeking death it is you thinking that you will attack my town!" Alec said in a prideful tone.

"Hmpff!

What is you name human! I wish to know it so that I can pass down a story of the foolish human who dared challenge me!" The wolf said with a howl as all the other wolf came to watch this fight.

"ALEC ROSARIO! But first I can tell you have a sense of honor, if I win I wish to have your treasures."

"That is fine but what do I get in this deal?" The white wolf said curiously wanting to know what Alec would say?

"Well I only have my family's heirloom on me so you can have that and if you lose I wont kill the rest of your pact as long as they don't attack my town or the people in my town."

"HAHAHAH! You really are a funny human! I accept these terms! MY name is SENSO!! Remember it well foolish Human!" The white wolf let out a big howl which was the start of the match.

Alec instantly jumped back creating some space and starts to chant words as a ball of mana forms in his hand throwing it at Senso at break neck speeds. Senso seeing the Mana ball coming at him and vanished appearing behind Alec, "So fast!?" Alec thought to him self as he had already expected the white wolf to be strong and fast. Alec quickly turning around to meet Sensos attack, Senso was surprised that Alec had seen where he went never the less he slammed his paw down towards Alec, Alec meeting Sensos paw with the Palm of Destruction. Senso smiled as the mage dared challenge him in close combat as there hands met ripples were sent out in all direction the ground under Alec cracked. As Senso said "Farewell Human!" A surge of pain was felt in Sensos right paw as he jumped back from this pain he was met with another pain in his abdomen as he was launched into the air from a Mana Ball.

"ARHGHHH!"

Senso let out a yell of pain as Alec kept throw Mana Balls at Senso in the air every Mana Ball that hit sending Senso farther into the air. As Alec went to throw another Mana Ball at Senso a chill ran down his spin his instincts told him something was coming. Before Alec could react he was smashed 5ft. into the ground Alec let out a sound of pain. Even though Alec was holding the he advantage he didn't notice Senso casting the spell that hit him and why would he? Alec knew Magical beast could use some magic but he never expected Senso to be able to use it.

Senso still on edge because this human already overpowered him and he was wary because of this. "There is no way a mage at his level could live that!?" As Alec jumped out of the 10ft. deep hole with his shirt all ripped and blood on his mouth.

"That's a neat trick you had there. It really caught me off guard." Alec said as he wiped the blood from his mouth and ripped his cut up shirt off revealing a well trained body with tone harden muscles. "Time for me to get serious then!" Alec stated casting a spell as his magical power rose the mana in the air got denser, at his point a lot of the wolfs watching had to run off or else they might get caught up in the battle.

Senso noticed him casting a spell and started casting his own spell from before. Finishing before Alec did he sent out his spell "Wind Blast!" Alec dodge it this time and finished casting "Fatigue" Giving his body the strength he needed to continue fighting. Alec now raising his Martial Power to the max as he takes his stance, Senso also prepares himself for what's next.

As the both are now ready round 2 begins!! Alec taking the stance of the Destruction Palm from before both Alec and Senso dash at each other at fast speeds instantly Alec sends out some palm strikes but Senso shoots another Wind Blast at Alec causing Alec to block it seeing that it was to late to dodge after which Senso brings his tail down on Alec who is currently blocking the Wind Blast.

"Booommmm!!!"

Alec Is suddenly smashed into the ground again this time not giving him any time to breath Senso Sent many Wind Blasts each one crashing into Alec blood shooting out of his mouth at he is push 30ft. under.

Senso now truly thinks he has killed Alec since he no longer sensed any power coming from the hole he created. With strength leaving his body Alec thought "Is this how it ends? I was given a second chance and I'm going to die to this guy. NO!!! EVEN IF MY BODY BRAKES AND I CANT MOVE I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!! THAT IS WHAT I DECIED LONG AGO!!!" Alec let out a scream as he jumped and climbed out of the hole. With fire in his eyes he looked at Senso and yelled "Lets finish this!!" Senso looking back at Alec "YES!! Lets finish this!"

Alec taking the same stance as his father did against him. Senso seeing this thought he could not muster any strength as it resulted in the stance Alec took. Senso smiling devilishly like he had victory in his grasp. Suddenly Senso bolted forward with teeth bared ready to eat Alec up in one bite. "You were strong human, no Alec! You will go down in history as one of the strongest humans I have ever face!" Senso thought to him self as his teeth met Alec who hasn't moved this whole time. But as Senso clamped his mouth shut to enjoy Alecs blood he tasted air instead, confused Senso looked at where Alec had been standing and saw nothing. Seeing Alec missing Senso raised his senses to the max as he faintly heard Alec say "You noticed to late."

Suddenly Boom, Boom, Boom, 3 heavy strikes landed on Sensos abdomen launching Senso into the air 20ft. Senso letting out a gut crushing noise as he helplessly fly's into the air looking for Alec who was underneath him. Quickly Senso see a blue object coming at him at fast speeds, "there you are! Senso starts chanting for Wind Blast. Before he could finish chanting he suddenly gets a chill down his spin as he felt the air around him go cold and silence took over the area, only a voice could be heard, "You were strong Senso! Now become my stepping stone!" This voice was none other than Alec who was behind Senso. "I will remember you!" Alec said at he released a Destruction Palm Toward Senso spine sending him flying towards the Mana ball that was thrown before. "I have to dodge!" Senso said desperately. Senso starts to try to go to the right, but Alec was behind him expecting this Alec threw his last Mana Ball out of the remaining Magical power he had. Landing on Senso's upper back shooting him down like a comet on to the oncoming Mana Ball which triggered the explosion hidden effect.

BOOOOOMMMMM!

Shockwaves sent out from the explosion causing the trees to be blown back and a bright light to be seen from the town soon followed by the shockwaves which shook many of the houses in town. Alec mother and father immediately felt this and geared up they quickly run to Alecs room to let him know that they are going to check out he situation outside. Only to see Alec isn't inside his room and that the window his been left open. His mother quickly casting search magic only to find Alecs foot prints leading into the forest. Quickly Alecs mother cast Haste on Alecs father and went to gather the towns guards and mages. As Alecs father runs off in the in the direction of Alecs foot prints. "Alec please be okay!" Alecs dad thought to himself as he ran full speed as he runs past 2 dead wolfs and his tracks stop at these wolfs. "Did Alec do this? Alec dad thought to himself before he found a set of paw prints that lead of towards the cave of the White wolf. "All the guards know to stay far away from the cave why would the wolfs come this close to the town? And what does this have to do with Alec?" Running off in the direction of the paw prints hears 2 loud thuds coming from the direction of the White wolf cave.

Meanwhile Alec is blown back by the shock wave and a land slamming into the ground with a large thud. Along with the now charred White wolf whose fur is now a mix of red and black. Both Panting heavily Alec gets to his feet and ready's himself. Once again a voice rings in his head, "be at ease you have won." This was the white wolf Senso speaking.

"Damn your still alive!?" Alec said nervously.

"Yes but I can't move any more and I will die soon. You win are bet everything in the cave is yours. I wish to die a warriors death quick and painless, will u do this for me?" All the arrogance from before was gone both Alec and Senso spoke earnestly. "Before you kill me I have to ask how did you dodge my attack when u got out of that hole? It looked as if you had given up all hope with that stance." Senso asked humbly.

"It's called Zero stance, as for how I dodged you that was Zero step which allows me to move while keeping the benefits of the stance. It's my families Secret technique only to be used on strong opponents."

Alec walking up to Senso who is lying down. Taking Zero stance he Brings his hands together in a praying motion saying his last words to Senso "You were strong Senso, Because of you I have created a new move and become stronger for that I thank you!" Alec now raising one of his hands into the air and in a chopping motion brings is palm down while saying "Senso Palm Of Desolation!!!" Alec screamed and his palm came down with fast speed but had a light impact as if Alec was patting a dogs head and Senso now lays there limp without moving. As Alec says "if we meet again maybe it will be on better terms."

After which, Alec passed out and the wolfs who had been around have all left going to find a new home.

Alecs dad who just arrived on the seen was dumbfounded the area around them had been completely destroyed. Looking around for a person Alecs father only saw Alec and a huge wolf that was unmoving Alecs dad rushed forward blade drawn just incase of surprise attack but nothing came. Alec laid there with no movement and faint breathing. Picking Alec up his father ran at full speed without looking back as he was too worried about Alec. in a few mins Alec father arrived in town yelling for his wife. Who was currently with all the mages and towns guard about to head towards the explosion.

"Alec needs healing now!!!" Alecs dad yelled holding the blooded Alec. Instantly all of the mages joined hands and started chanting this was a diamond level mage spell which can only be done when mages come together and chant. "O merciful mother Gaia, We the weak seek your aid, Grant us your life giving power, Mother of all creation." "Gaia's Healing."

A bright green light consumes Alecs body, very quickly Alecs color starts to come back and his breathing comes back to normal, as he coughs up a bit of blood out of his lungs and the wounds he got all cleared up leaving him stable.

"Quickly take him to are house he needed rest!" Alecs mother said as she fell to one knee as the magic spell take a toll on ones magic power. After that Alecs dad told everyone to go to bed and that Alec would explain everything when he woke.

Day have passed and Alec is still asleep until he hears a voice....
