Finally, Today is the day. The RED tournament was announced to start in two days. All VIP guests were invited.
Even the busiest of them had to make plans for such event, the last showdown between the Great 3 Culinary Academies, the last fight that will determine which school has the best chefs.
A day before RED, the 3 representative chef from each school has gathered in their headmaster's office.
In Totsuki....
Alexander, Alice, and Takumi entered Erina's office. The first thing greeted them was Erina sitting at her office, and on her right side is Hisako, and on her left side, was an adult man in a red suit and black tie.
"Good day, everyone!" Erina stood up and spoke "As you know, RED will start on two days, and as such, some preparations were needed before that." She said "Mr. Weisse here will explain to you."
Alexander, Alice, and Takumi nodded and switched their gaze at the other man in the room who had a polite smile on his face.
"Thank you, Totsuki Headmaster." Weisse spoke, he took a tablet from his bag on the floor and quickly typed on it "In two days, Red Tournament will officially start its first fight and round, to not spoil anything, all i can say is, we need to some lottery." He spoke while walking to the side of the room where a big screen is, he connected hos device to it and instantly it showed a split screen of the other two headmasters' offices, and behind each headmasters, his top 3 elite 10.
"Good day, Headmasters!" Weisse greeted them "Now that we are all here, Let us start."
Each person listened carefully as Weisse continued "The First Challenge of the Red will be an [Open World] Battle." Unfortunately, due to some leaking a few information when drinking, this was not a surprise to anyone here "The Rules are as the following, First, Each School must pick one Chef to participate in this challenge, second, each chef will be dropped off in his location with nothing other than a few kitchen tools and a Camera crew that will stream your actions, third, You have a time limit of three hours and half to cook any dish you can make in your situation. That will be all."
When Weisse finished, many were surprised, this is not like the traditional Open World fights, it was grand and exaggerated.
The first to speak was Erina "I have a question." She said.
"Yes?"
"What about judging the dishes, being in the open world like that, are the judges going to follow each chef? And I have heard there was only 3 judges, how is that possible?"
Weisse smiled "Simple...There will be no judging in this Challenge." He said.
"Are you serious?!" From Germa's screen, Sanji exclaimed in shock.
"How are we going to decide who won the round if all we have to do is make one dish, any dish!" Alice wondered.
From Gloutney's screen, the headmasters chuckled "The young ones' have a point, Mr. Red Tournament guy."
Weisse laughed out loud "Hahaha!! Do not worry." He said, suddenly, the aura around him became cold as he spoke with a rough voice "I promise, The chances of you making a dish are very low that no one may pass." He said "Did you think we will send you to some ingredients filled area? Well, you will realize that after you know where you will be dropped off later on." Weisse took out a little switch and clicked on it, the split screen now had one additional screen with a digital roulette with Three arrows on it and many location names.
"Now, the Blue arrow is for Totsuki, Yellow for Germa, and Green for Gloutney. The roulette will spin, and your allow will determine the challenge location for each school chef."
Everyone nodded and went silent, Weisse clicked the switch again, and this time, tbe roulette spun around in high speed. Then slowly it started to stop, slolwer, bit by bit. Until finally it stopped completely with each arrow fixated on a name.
Totsuki's Blue arrow: Desert
Germa's Yellow arrow: Mountain
Gloutney's Green arrow: Island
"Eh?" Takumi tilted his head "Desert? What does that mean?" He asked in confusion.
He wasn't alone as the other schools too questioned their situation.
"I guess this is the part where he explains further." Alexander pointed with his chin at Weisse.
"Hahaha! Indeed." Weisse laughed "Well, since the information about the theme of the challenge got leaked, we decided to compensate for that by only giving half of what you will be going through, for example, Totsuki, after you will decide on who will participate, We will take him or her with is and drop him in a [Desert] location. Where? You will find out when you arrive, For now. All you need to know is that you will go to a desert."
"But that is absurd!" Alice complained.

Each School headmaster gritted their teeth and returned to speak to their chefs.
For Totsuki, Erina spoke "Since We don't know what is awaiting us there, I would suggest that we save our best to last." Her eyes obviously shifted towards Alexander.
Alice sighed and nodded "This may be just a big trap. Let's send Takumi, he is the weakest." She said confidently
"Oi!!" Takumi was offended on so many levels but personally.
"There is no need." Alexander then spoke "I will do it."
Erina was surprised "Why? We may need you later on!" She said.
Alexander chuckled "You think I will lose?" He spoke.
Suddenly Erina, Takumi, and Alice froze in place, yes. For a moment, they have forgotten what Alexander can do.
"Haha! I see." Erina nodded.
"Take care of them, babe!" Alice gave him a light tap on the shoulder.
"Show them what we can do!" Takumi gave Alexander a fist pump.
"Leave it to me. It has been a long time since i have been giving a real challenge. Let me show them what a Russian can do."
