5 Knight in shining armour

I am dreading this day and it's already noon. I just have 2 to 3 hours left for the party. I don't know why but iam feeling like something is going to happen and these past few days are my best days. I have been living in a shell for the last year but here in New York with lilly and Zay, it feels like there had been nothing bad that happened in the past. I have been always this happy in my life but no this is not the truth. I have been miserable for the past year and this one month in New York with lilly and Zay shows me I can be happy again, I can laugh wholeheartedly again. I can survive a day without a panic attack and I can breathe without feeling like someone is judging me.

It took 2 hours to get ready. Zayreen gave me a red dress which comes to my knees and has thin straps on my shoulders and it fits like a glove. She did my hair and makeup which consists of smokey eyes and curls. my hair is brown and it has natural curls to it but zay added some volume to those curls. My grey eyes are looking alive with smokey color and at last with a Scarlett red lipstick. How my parents gave me a color's name I don't know.

"Wow, scar you are looking hot" zay whistled twirling me.

She is wearing a black dress which reached above her knees and her red hair is straightened and she is looking gorgeous with her red hair and black dress.

Lilly is wearing a silver-colored mini dress and her blonde hair is curled too. With the silver color dress and blonde hair, she is looking like an angel.

" okay girls let's go. our uber just arrived," Lilly yelled from the living room.

"Yeah wait a minute " yelled zay from her room and came running out of her room while strapping a heel on her leg.

" Woah zay careful, we don't want to cancel our party and have to go to the hospital for a twisted ankle right? I asked while laughing and balancing her.

"Ughhhhh stop scar iam not gonna twist my ankle iam pro in balancing on my one leg and nothing is going to stop me from going to this party" zay said rolling her eyes.

" Okay okay let's go girls our uber is here. We don't want to get late, come" Lilly said grabbing her purse from the dining table.

My thoughts are everywhere. I feel like my nerves are gonna explode. Why? Why do I have to be like this? Why can't I be normal like others? Why I have to overthink before doing something or going somewhere.

I just want to enjoy this party with my friends without getting panicked or getting cold feet.

" No Scarlett you can do this and you have to do this because this is what you want and this is your new life and you are gonna live it to the fullest" I repeated these words in my head and took a deep breath and left the apartment.

We reached our destination in 30 minutes it is not much away from our apartment and thankfully there is not much traffic today.

" Oooooh the music is pretty loud and it is pumping me up for the start," Zay said adjusting her dress and hair.

" Huh! It is not necessary to scare people with loud music. I feel like my eardrums are gonna break" lilly whined and tried to close her ears with her hands but Zay jumped on her and removed her hands scolding her " seriously! What are you 50? Don't be a party pooper lilly. Real parties are like this only. Without loud music, there will be no fun in partying. So chill babe" Zay said pushing lilly towards the entrance.

Zay and lilly started their bickering and I zoned them out like I usually do.

I know I have pep talked myself but now seeing people and my surroundings I feel like I am going to throw up with anxiousness. My palms are becoming sweaty.no no 1,2,3,4... I started counting in my head and trying to calm myself down.

I can do it. I can mingle with people and I can dance. I have left my old self in green port and this me is new me. I am going to live my life on my terms.

After calming myself down I joined lilly and Zay who are still arguing about the party " guys will you please stop arguing like a married couple who argues for every single thing and this much longer. Can we please join the crowd" I asked them folding my hands?

" Sorry," they both said in unison.

" Come let's go," I said and we entered the party.

Party House is pretty much empty and dark with disco lights and the kitchen in the corner.

People are dancing and pretty much grinding on each other. "Don't call me up by Mabel is playing and people are dancing with new energy to this song.

" Yayyyyy this is my favorite song come on guys let's dance" Zay pulled us towards the dance floor and started dancing.

We danced for two more songs and went to the kitchen for a drink.

I don't drink so I took a fruit punch. Lilly and Zay ordered alcoholic punch.

So far the party is going fine and smoothly and I am enjoying it. I thought that I am gonna get bored out of my mind but no surprisingly am enjoying it.

Lilly and Zay are on the dance floor dancing to Selena Gomez's taki taki and they wanted me to join them but I am having a good time watching people from afar. Zay pouted when I told her to dance without me and like a child she is going away stomping her feet.

I don't know how much punch I have been consuming. It's been three hours since we are here and now I wanted to pee very badly.

I searched for Zay and lilly on the dance floor and they are both dancing with guys so I don't want to interrupt them. So I went alone in the search of a washroom.

There is a big line in front of the washroom and I needed to relieve myself pretty bad.

" Excuse me! Is this the only bathroom here? I asked a girl who is standing in the line.

" Umm no there are bathrooms on the first floor they are attached with rooms. This is the common bathroom" she said.

I can't wait for another minute if I wait I am gonna explode.

I went upstairs and opened the first door" Ahhhhhhh who the hell are you? Close the door" someone yelled from the room and I closed my eyes from the scene which is happening in the room.

" Sorry sorry carry-on" I yelled back banging the door hard. Seriously scar why did you say to them to carry on? I scolded myself for the embarrassment.

I opened the last door in the corner while peeking inside with one eye open because I don't want to witness anything.

Thank God there is no one in the room.

I relieved myself and started washing my hands. Seriously after peeing the relief, we get is the best feeling in the world.

I adjusted my dress and wiped my mascara which is a little bit out of line.

Suddenly I got the feeling like someone is watching me. I got goosebumps all over my body and it's the bad kind of feeling.

I turned around and looked at the door where a guy is standing precisely leaning on the door. How he entered the bathroom I don't know but he is giving me creeps.

I stopped doing what I am doing and started making my way to the door." Um excuse me" I said giving him a hint that I want to go out.

He moved to the side and allowed me to leave the bathroom.

I dashed to the door hurriedly because IAM not feeling good about this guy. His stare is like a predator and he is looking at me like I am his prey for the night.

Before I even got to the door he closed it and clicked the lock.

"What are you doing? Let me go " I said moving forward to the door.

" Ummm not that easy. if you want to leave you have to do something for me" he said smirking and assessing with his eyes from my head to toe lingering his gaze on certain places where I don't feel comfortable.

" I am not going to do anything so let me leave," I said with a strong voice and confidence but inside I am freaking out.it feels like my nerves are gonna blast.

" No darling you are not leaving here until I say so," he said while coming my way slowly with his annoying smirk.

" If you take one more step I am gonna yell and people will come," I said confidently.

He got that sinister grin on his face which is giving me chills down my spine " you see darling this is the last room in the house and no one is going to hear your voice with the loud music so be a darling and make me happy" his words are making me want to throw up.

Suddenly I am being pushed to the wall and I banged my head pretty hard.

" Leave me " I am struggling but he is way stronger than me and his body weight is crushing me.

"Stop struggling and yelling no one is going to save you," he said laughing out loud.

I didn't stop struggling and yelling. He is all over me. Touching me with his dirty hands. Tears are streaming down my face and it is hard to breathe. It's like I am losing my conscious Ness." I am not gonna let him win. iam going to fight back.no no be strong" these words are repeating in my head.

I started yelling loud this time with gathering my all strength and praying to God that send someone to pull me out of this nightmare.

" Nooooooooo somebody help please help" I started yelling loudly and thrashing violently in his arms.

He started slapping me and trying to close my mouth with his hand but I bite his hand and immediately he removed it " b**** you are gonna pay for this" he yelled angrily and pulled my hair hard and started pulling me towards the bed.

He dumped me on the bed and crushing me with his weight and started choking me. I think this is my last moment of life. I feel like I am gonna die today.it is becoming hard to breathe and I am seeing black dots in my vision.

Suddenly the bodyweight which is crushing me is gone. I feel like I am coming from underwater.

I was immediately surrounded by my two best friends and saviors. they both hugged me and started crying. I hugged them back and crying hard.

" Shhhhh scar calms down we are here nothing happened to see we came on time don't cry everything is okay. We are here" lilly said rubbing my back and wiping my tears.

But I can't stop crying. How can I stop? If they would have not found me I don't know what would have happened.

" Yes, scar don't cry. breath see we are here and my brother is handling him so don't worry he is not going to come near you again," she said while looking towards the side of the room where the bad guy is beaten by someone who is tall and has a man bun but I am having difficulty seeing clearly with tears and my breathing.

" Omer stop you are going to kill him .let the cops handle him" Zay yelled from here. The guy stopped beating and the bad guy collapsed on the ground.

" What the hell are you doing at this party zayreen? You would have asked me first before coming here" the guy looked pissed.

" You are not dad omer so stop ordering me what to do and not to do" Zay replied angrily standing in front of his hands on her hips.

I gasped aloud and the guy looked my way we made eye contact and it feels like I am choking on something. he has chocolate brown eyes which are looking into my soul. I gasped because I haven't seen someone like him. He is tall muscular with light subtle hair on his jaw which is sharp and a man bun. His eyes are cold but mysterious it feels like he is reading me through his eyes. I feel naked in front of him. I felt something which I never felt before.

I feel like he has the power to destroy someone and build them back.

He is like a volcano that can blast anytime.

At this moment I feel like everything is going to change. my life is gonna turn upside down.

He is my knight in shining armor. if not for him I don't know what had happened.

With those dark eyes, he has the power to destroy someone and pull someone out from their demons.

He is looking like a devil with an angel face. He is going to taint me and I feel like I am gonna oblige him.

Gasping for air I clutched my chest trying to breathe but nothing's happening with black dots clouding my vision and the concerned brown eyes looking my way I slipped into unconsciousness and into a black hole where my demons are waiting for me.
