S1 Ch2 “Orphans”

Father glared at us, Mother had already trailed off to the den. Something wasn't right, I could feel it, Father have a calming look to some of the litter, while a terrific growl towards the rest. Father commanded 7 of the 10 pups back to the den, while Warm, River, and I sat outside with Father. He stood, "Follow, now or I'll eat you." He snapped. I didn't know what was going on, but I followed. I tried to stop following but my legs wouldn't, fear took over my legs. We we're far from home by the time we came to a stop, Father told us to stay, we did. But he didn't come back..

I yawned keeping warm next to the other two, Warm was the smallest, I adored him. He was so cute, he had a golden brown pelt, it was adorable, and he would always be the most sweetest thing you'll ever meet. River was quite the trouble maker, he usually didn't listen and messed with others, he had a grey and orange pelt, just like Father. I had a pure black coat, not even the smallest amount of any other color. We stuck together, we took down a few rabbits, maybe one or two rats. *Bing!* the screen had popped up again, "Hunt 2 Rabbits To Earn 150 Points! And A Lucky Chest!" I looked at it for a moment confused, 'Okay then..' I stood, my ear flicked at the sound of a rabbit dashing for safety after noticing us, I chased after it, pouncing on it, I took hold of its head, twisting it until I heard a crack. I looked back, Warm was watching, but River was gone. I sniffed the ground looking for his scent, I couldn't find a trace of him. "That sneaky mut-" I stoped myself noticing Warm was watching me, I smiled and carried on looking for another rabbit. One dashed into the deep brush, I used my snout to find its scent, chasing after it, I did the same as I did the last.

I snapped it's neck.

I selected wings, of course. Nothing seemed to be happening, so I decided to wait. Me and Warm ran off, trying to seek shelter for the night. As soon as we found an abandoned den, Warm fell right asleep, I curled up next to him, falling asleep aswell. In my sleep I began to feel a horrific pain in my back, I tried to wake but I couldn't. The pain was in bearable, I inhaled deeply, but I couldn't wake up.
