4 Chapter 2: Did it come too?

Five years ago,

Silence engulfed the night, despite sound of the forest and the cricketing of the crickets accompanying the night like usual but the surrounding today was silent. It was oddly silent, as the night seemed to be mourning in silence.

The night breeze was cold, on a mountain, stood an old house that was surrounded by the lush trees and nature. It looked rather abandoned but there was sign of human living in the small house as the light was lighted up inside. The fire on the lantern was swaying slowly with the rhythm of the breeze passing through.

A lifeless body of a young girl around 16 year old was laying on the bed. It was rather odd for such a young lady alone in this desolated place. Her clothing was haggard but one could see that it was once was the expensive silk adorned by the noble. One look at the girl, men would surely felt a tenderness and fire in their heart as the girl was a very beautiful. Her closed eyes were decorated by long fan like lashes. Her body was snow-like, it looked really soft and tender despite the fact that she looked pale. But, due to living in a harsh condition such as the mountain alone, without the care of others, her skin had turned a bit rougher but it still didn't lessen her beauty even a bit. Her sword-like eyebrow was perfectly carved and her blossom lips was alluring despite the blue hue on her lips.

Unfortunately, her eyes was closed as she had passed away. It was a pity for a young one to leave the world still adorned with black locks on her head.

However, as if a deity had blessed the girl due to the feeling of pity, her once closed eyes suddenly snapped open and revealed her clear gold orbs of eyes. A tint of laziness was apparent in her eyes. She immediately jerked up to sit and looked left and right in bewilderment.

'Where am I? This surely is not a hospital?'

She looked down on herself and examined her body. Her once startled expression was quickly replaced by an indifferent lazy face. Oh well, she seemed to be fine despite being engaged in a car accident in an attempt to save her younger brother. She rubbed her forehead in relief, but then she froze.

After a few moments of shock, she finally snapped to reality from her frozen state.

"Whattt? Aren't I supposed to be heavily injured? and... am I wearing a hanfu?" She looked at the clothes adorning her body and finally realized that she was currently wearing a light green hanfu. Moreover, she knew that she was in a body that didn't belonged to her as the flower tattoo on her chest was not there. She blanked out for a moment and came to a conclusion.

' I had transmigrated...'

She was dumfounded by her newfound realization. She felt happy to still be alive but at the same time she had came to a world that she didn't know! Suddenly, her a strong headache struck her head and felt dizzy by the newly gained memories. In her mind, there was suddenly a flood of memories that didn't belonged to her. It seemed that they belonged to the previous body's owner.

The previous owner name was the same with her which was Bai Hua. She was the first legitimate daughter of the Bai Family and had fallen into a scheme woven by the hateful woman, hence she had fallen into this state. The woman had previously stole the first wife place from Bai Hua's mother and now she planned to make her children to rose and remove the obstacles that were hindering her scheme, especially Bai Hua, as one of the well-known beauty in the capital young ladies.

"Such an a motherfucker of a bitch." Bai Hu silently cursed. Well, sorry for her colorful choice of words.

For her, revenge was surely sweet, but she won't be doing anything as long as they didn't provoke her first. She dislike to face unnecessary trouble. Even though she had occupied the pervious owner's body but she didn't need to seek revenge in her stead. she would just take a good care of her body.

Bai Hua tilted her head a little, 'but maybe I would help to repay the favor of using her body.'

The day was still dark, the moon shone brightly through the window. Bai Hua laid back down and closed her eyes, pulling the blanker to cover half of her face.

" Well, I'm sleepy. Everything could wait for tomorrow." She yawned and within seconds she had fallen asleep. Habit die hard, she was like a cat. Sleep almost all the time and love to play and lazy around.

---

The next morning,

Bai Hua woke up and stretched her body lazily. She asserted her surrounding slowly with her half-closed eyes. She dragged herself out of the bed and wore the coarse shoes on the floor at the side of the bed.

The house was small and only had barely enough necessity, she she would manage. She had used to living in a hard condition anyway. She found a weaved basket outside of the house.

' This will do." she thought.

She walked toward the woods using the pathway that was visible on the ground to gather vegetable, fruits and firewood. The house had a small kitchen but there was no firewood left.

Bai Hua walked to the west, quite a distance from her house when she found a river with the waster as clear as crystal with no impurities could be seen. She was panting hard and sweats run down her face. This body of her was very weak. It was once belonged to a sheltered young lady of a noble family after all. She decide to rest at the river bank.

The water shone under the sun and look practically dazzling. Bai Hua stared at the water and saw her reflection. She was quite startled as their face looked almost alike, except for the fact that this new face looked more beautifully seductive than hers in the past. It was an enhanced version of her face.

Not only that but she looked younger and her gold like eyes still followed her in this life. It seemed that no one could run from the curse. Actually, Bai Hua was already 20 years old in her previous life. she had became younger than before.

Bai Hua touched her face, 'well aren't beauty is known to bring trouble at this time right? Huh, it seemed that she will be facing with quite a trouble for someone who had no backing to rely on with such a beautiful face.'

She sighed and contemplated about her future fate, she was too lazy to deal with it.

She rise her face with the water from the river and continued her walk. She would remember this place si that she could come again to bath or something. She walked a long way and gathered quite a lot of eatable ingredients and firewood. The was already up high on the sky, 'It must be around 1 or 2 pm now. ' Bai Hua's stomach grumble as a sign of hunger.

"I'm hungry. I think it's enough for a few days." She talked to herself and started to walk home from the path that she had took. She had good memories and could remember it easily.

On her way home, she suddenly heard grunting from the bushes. It appeared to belong to a man in pain.

"Who?" Bai Hua asked, but she got no reply. Curious, Bai Hua walked toward the sound source and was shocked to find a man in black heavily injures. He was leaning against the tree trunk with his slightly torn robes clinging onto his body, exposing the deep wound inflicted on the man. There was blood all around, and if she hadn't heard the sound and saw the movement of the man. Bai Hua would had already assumed that he was dead.

The man looked at her, still full with vigilant but his blurred vision made him unable to make out the figure clearly. He should be careful toward anyone coming closer but he didn't felt any malicious intent coming from this person. Hence, he let he or she to do whatever the person wanted. Deep inside he already accepted his fate of leaving this world.][

He felt himself gradually becoming weaker. He could feel his life slipping away from his body and the he lost consciousness.

'What does a man doing? And while being heavily injured at that!' , Bai Hua walked toward him at the same time he lost consciousness. Bai Hua pulled his body and let him lay down on the ground. She was lazy to do lots of things but no matter what, it was hard for her to ignore when she saw someone in trouble, because she knew how damn well it must hurt to be in troubled condition.

She examined his body. There were deep wounds on his body that appeared to be cause by sword and it were bleeding non-stop.

She tapped her chin, 'Did her abilities came with her too? well, her gold colored eyes was here with her. '

She cut his upper robe and let her tend to the wounds. With full of concentration. Bai Hua raised both of her hands over his opened wounds. Suddenly, a thread like golden light and white sparkle appeared. Then, the wound started to knit together by itself.

It healed up just enough to stop the bleeding. Bai Hua already felt weaker. Nevertheless, the bleeding had stopped, so he should be out of danger for now. Therefore, now she could bring him up to her house safely without the risk of him dying on the way.
