Chapter one

Li meiying was in her deep slumber but was interrupted by a phone call. She struggled to answer the call but somehow she managed , without opening her eyes " hello?" .

" wake up blockhead!!!" Li Lijuan yelled from the other side. Li lijuan and Li meiying were sisters , lijuan was older by two years. They were each other's best friend And enemy at the same time.

"Arrggg ok ok i am awake alright!" meiying cried back. She knew how persistent her sister can be .

She hung up the call and swiftly jumped out of the bed and started getting ready for her graduation ceremony.

Meiying was an average student but she was gorgeous in and out. Her parents were lawyers and her sister was employed in one of the biggest company in S city . She was the black sheep of the family but she was loved despite her flaws.

The moment she picked up the keys and her backpack to head out, a call interrupted her move. It was him Wang Deming her boyfriend , before she could say anything

" hey babe ,I am outside to pick you" delivered his statement first in a low hoarse soothing voice.

This guy was too perfect to be true. He never lacked anything since he was born and currently he was the president of the company where li meiying worked.

Meiying composed herself and answered-

" oh , ok all right! I will be there in a sec." she hung up the phone and rushed outside the apartment.

When Wang Deming saw her he came forward and gave her gentle hug and sweet peck on her cheek. They have not met each other for past two days because of his busy schedules. But he always made sure to be connected through phone during that time.

" I have missed you" said Wang Deming with mild tone. Li Meiying knew how tired he was but she could do nothing about it. As if he knew what she was thinking

" Don't worry I will take good care of my health" he hugged her again kissed her forehead and said

" let's go now, it's your big day today "

Li Meiying smiled at him and nodded in agreement and walked towards the car hand in hand.

Inside the backseat of the car wang Deming was talking business in fluent english. He looked pretty busy but at the same time his other hand was still holding her hand Li Meiying looked outside of the window. She was really grateful for her happy life and to the people involved in her life. But she always felt like something was amiss in her love life even though he always showered her with love.

And what was it?
