The next morning Alex woke up bright and early. As Alex took in a breath of fresh air he knew today was gonna be a good day. He got off his bed opened the curtains and ran to wake Barry up. "Barry wake up we're going to the gym today"

"aaaaah leave me alone Alex I wanna sleep"

Alex wouldn't take no for answer today so he ripped the sheets off Barry's bed to make sure he woke up. "Moms gonna wake you up anyway. Im gonna go get ready" as if synchronized Nora knocked on door and shouted "get ready we're leaving in 30 minutes."

Barry finally opened his eyes and looked at Alex with an how did you know look in is eyes. Alex simply shrugged his shoulders at this and got ready.

After eating breakfast and aa quick five minute drive they had arrived at the dojo. The first thing greet them as soon as they entered was a 4'9 perky young girl about the age of 13 with all black uniform and blonde pigtails. She had a few freckles sprinkled on her face below her green eyes. "HI my names Ashley and welcome the Dragons MMA dojo. How can I help you today"

Nora immediately looked fondly at the young girl "Hi Ashley we'd like to see the facilities and an explanation of what goes on here, can you do that?" Ashley bobbed her head in agreement and turned on her heel "Follow me, we're currently in the reception area" The Allen family followed after the cute girl as she guided them.

"We have a few masters and trainers in different disciplines, we offer Akido, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, jeet kune do, shotokan karate and most recently Krav Maga. We also have all the latest training equipment, physicians and nutritionists. 5 rings on the first floor for beginners and 3 on the 2nd floor for the more professional fighters. We also have showers and rehabilitation centre's on the underground floor. The third floor host our officials and trainers offices if you ever need to discuss anything. "

As engrossed as Alex was with the explanations she was giving he never forgot to gauge his parents reactions to all this. He was happy to see them smile at the knowledge of there being present physicians on site should there be injury. But they were curious about a few things but decided to wait until the end.

As they reached the end of their tour on the 3rd floor they saw a 6'2 man with dirty blonde hair and built like body builder approach them with a broad smile. "Hi I see my daughters given you the tour" he said as he looked down to his cute daughter and ruffled her hair. "My names Brody Jones the proprietor of this fine establishment. Do you have any questions about the gym?"

Henry looked at this thick man and said "yes we do, at what age can one begin? How much is membership? What are the training times? And does everyone in your gym compete professionally?" Henry fired off all these questions and looked Brody dead in the eyes. Brody smiled at this as most people were intimidated by his size.

" We start kids off with basics from ages 4 and up, that's also the age my daughter started. Membership is entirely dependant on how many days you attend. For kids between 4 and 10 it's 120$ for the month if they attend Monday to Friday. Each session is 2-4 hours long dependant on your schedule. We're open from 8am - 9pm Monday to Sunday. You can even come in during your spare time use the facilities . And no not everyone is professionally active but their all professionally trained. "

As Brody finished he looked to the parents to await their response. Nora followed up after her husband" How do you decide who does what training. Or are they taught everything? " Brody slowly nodded his head "Good question. We recommend new comers to try out different styles for the first month then the trainers will advise them as which martial art their best suited to. Customers will then make their decision and we move from there." Nora and Henry then nodded their heads in understanding and looked to Alex and Barry. They already knew Alex was all in just from his expression so they spoke to Barry instead " Barry what do you think, would you like to train here as well? " sadly Barry's attention had been drawn outside the window where her saw an advertisement of a science for kids club. As they all looked to see where he was looking they understood that he wasn't interested.

And so after a couple dozen more questions and reading the contract a few hundred times Nora and Henry finally signed Alex up. He'd be starting on Monday which was perfect as Alex didn't attend pre school. So he would start at the gym first thing in the morning everyday from Monday - Sunday 1pm to 5pm. Then have his tutor lessons from 8am - 12pm.

The family then went across the street to sign Barry up for the science club. He would be attending at the same time as Alex attended his lesson. They went home after that for an early lunch and spent the rest the day playing games and talking. Alex went to sleep happy and content.
