Yan Mei's mouth twisted when she saw Su Bei stealing glances at her while nibbling on her bottom lip. She had noticed her friend's weirdness the moment she entered her office. A gleam passed through Yan Mei's eyes.

"Okay, spill it. What do you want to know?" Yan Mei queried.

Su Bei drew in a long breath before looking up from the documents she was arranging on Yan Mei's table.

"That-"Su Bei trailed off, looking at Yan Mei.

"The man who came here this morning-"

"Leng Shao?" Yan Mei interrupted her.

Su Bei nodded. "Yes."

Yan Mei's right eyebrows shot up.

"What about him?" Yan Mei asked as she drummed her fingers on the table, waiting for Su Bei to speak.

"Were you guys in a relationship? Like were you guys romantically involved?"
