The waiter came with their order and set it down on the table. He offered his apologies for making them wait before excusing himself. Chloe wiped her tears before Adam could see them but he had already noticed her tears.

"Why would he not fall in love with you?" he asked her dying of curiosity. He hated how she answered every question without actually answering his question which made him want to know more of what she was hiding.

"The two of us are from two different worlds and we are set apart from each other. He is rich and I am poor, he is more outgoing and I am a little introverted," she replied her heart weighing heavy with thinking of how worlds apart she and Adam were.

"But love doesn't know any of that. If you love someone it should matter what class of life they are from. What is important is your feelings for each other," he said to her. 'Just like I never cared what social class you were from back then,' he thought bitterly.
