She Lied

Marcella's dilemma didn't last long as Beth started talking. She was too excited she could come to her house and Marcella couldn't say anything to her. 

Beth talked about the changes in her life. She mentioned that even Daniel Schmidt was scared of her and she was grateful for Tony's help in that. Marcella didn't find the need to mention that Schmidt was scared of her and not Tony. Seeing Beth happy that her dreams come true, Marcella was happy for her. Beth was so excited about her new movie. She also told her that the production house was asking her to change her name. 

Marcella offered wine to her. Beth followed her to the kitchen. 

"I smell something delicious!" Beth exclaimed.

"That's… dinner…"

Marcella had forgotten about their anniversary momentarily and now that Beth reminded her, she wanted to get ready. Her husband would be home any time.
