50 The NEW Team 7

Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi went out on a mission with Temari, who was passing by.

Temari was numb to the changes of Konoha and how much stronger they had become.

Shikamaru accompanied her most of the time she was here and eventually, Ryu pushed them to get engaged.

Although they opposed it with their mouths, they both blushed fiercely.

Shikaku raised both hands in agreement and Shikamaru's mother threatened him until he agreed.

As a result, Temari was kidnapped by Shikamaru's mother for several days…

Even Shikaku was sweating as his wife brought Temari around Konoha, buying her all sorts of things and shopping together.

Temari was having such a great time, she even forgot why she came to Konoha in the first place…

But after hearing something happened to Gaara, she rushed back with the Team 7 Trio.

After a day or so, Tsunade sent out Guy's team.

Tenten ran over and shouted "Neji!"

Neji thrusted his palm forward, covered in Haki. Ryu slapped the air and punched at Neji with Haki on both his hands. Neji's arms were coated with Haki as he blocked the punch, spinning quickly and snapping his arm forward.

The fist was like lightning shooting towards Ryu's face, but Ryu caught his wrist, smiling "Very good!" Neji was frustrated, saying with a frown "I still can't even touch you, Sensei!"

Ryu smirked "Did I train for nothing? Don't worry, you'll get it soon. Haki develops the fastest in combat." Neji sighed, "I still can't see the future, how depressing…"

Ryu punched his head, smiling "Take a Fist of Love for the road, eh? You'll get future sight soon, it's only a matter of time. You've only trained for 4 years."

Tenten ran over and smiled, "Neji, we have a mission!" Neji nodded and said "I'll be right there." before turning to Ryu and bowing "Excuse me, Sensei." Ryu waved his hand and Neji ran off with Tenten.

Hinata waved at Neji and Hanabi blew up the hair in her face, saying "What a guy…" Ryu looked at them and said "Come on, what do you think this is? Dango time?" Hanabi frowned hard and muttered "Is Dango time so bad? I would love a Dango…"

Ryu paused and looked around quickly, before flashing behind Hinata and Hanabi, hooking his arms around their necks as he whispered "No one is watching… Let's go."

A few minutes later

Hinata, Hanabi, and Ryu were hiding behind a bush by the Dango Shop and eating Dangos.

Ryu sat on the ground, patting his stomach as he let out a breath "Ahhh… Nothing like a good dango…" before falling asleep.

Hinata and Hanabi looked at him and giggled, smiling sweetly.

Days later

Ryu was standing in Tsunade's office, sighing "Why me… I have a daughter to take care of…"

Tsunade pointed at Naruto and Sakura, saying "Heh… You were recommended!" Ryu looked at Naruto with a hateful glare, Naruto looked around, ignoring him as he said "Hm! Nice office! It'll be mine soon…"

Tsunade's lip twitched and Ryu yawned, "It used to be super neat too…" Tsunade shouted "Enough! Bastards! Damn it!" Ryu rubbed his neck and crushed a spider on his shoulder.

Sai walked into the room and smiled, "Hello!"

Tsunade frowned "This guy…"

Ryu yawned "Sasuke's replacement. We need teams of three right?" Tsunade looked at Sai and said "Isn't he from…" Ryu nodded and ruffled Sai's hair, saying "Yep! He was from the root, just like Yamato."

Naruto and Sakura had question marks over their heads.

Ryu smiled happily and continued "The Root is the secret Division of Anbu run by Danzo." Naruto and Sakura nodded in understanding, then Ryu added "After I slaughtered every single member and crushed Danzo's skull with my hands, retrieving a Sharingan from his eye socket from the back of his head, I taught Sai and Yamato normally."

Tsunade, Naruto, and Sakura froze while Sai smiled, "I watched. It was very brutal and bone chilling." Ryu nodded and rubbed Sai's head, smiling "Now he's a normal boy with big dreams. Tell them your dream, Sai."

Sai waved his fist, saying "I want to paint the most beautiful woman in the world against the most beautiful sunset to create the most beautiful painting the world has ever seen!"

Tsunade's lips twitched and Sakura patted her chest, saying "Oh, so me." Naruto looked at her sideways, muttering "Not for nothing but-" Sakura glared at him and he said seriously "Yes, who else but you?"

Tsunade glared at him and Naruto added "But Tsunade-sama beats you, but you can both be in it…"

Ryu nodded and said "Good boy. I taught you well. If you can't beat a woman to the ground, then you can only compromise."

Tsunade and Sakura glared at him and he sneered, "Compared to my wife and daughter… heh… The fireflies and the moon!" Then he snorted, flicking his hair, "Not that it's surprising, look at me."

Sai sweat slightly…

Ryu looked at Tsunade saying seriously, "Anyway, I'm unsuitable for being within a 10 Meter distance of children. I can't be a team leader. I killed Danzo brutally and full of blood while also plotting the deaths of both Konoha elders and Third Hokage, just forget it…"

Tsunade pointed her chin to the sky, sneering "I can do what I want. I'm Hokage and there's no elders to stop me! Hmph!" Ryu frowned, "I resign."

"Denied."

"I'm sick."

"I can treat you."

"Im suicidal."

"Here are some anti-depressants."

"I'm terminally ill."

"I'll prepare a grand funeral for your return."

Ryu sighed and Naruto said "You have to, Ryu! You're the only one!" Ryu waved his hand and refused, "No. You make it sound like I'm the strongest Ninja in Konoha." Naruto replied instantly "You are the strongest Ninja in Konoha. The only one for the job!"

Ryu refused "Impossible! You make it sound like I'm the Hero of the Village!" Naruto nodded, replying "You ARE the Hero of the Village! That's why we need you to lead us!" Ryu refused again, "Enough! It's like there couldn't be anyone else but me because I'm so great!"

Naruto sighed, "Alright, I'll stop."

Ryu shouted "Alright! I'll do it if you insist! I admit I'm the greatest for the job!"

Tsunade and Sakura's lips twitched while Sai and Naruto smiled happily.
